When the ceviche came out, we were both blown away. Plenty of fresh fish pieces served with a darker sauce, not the usual clear lime juices. The flavors were so fresh and full of umami, it was a burst of goodness that you must try! I asked someone about this - turns out he was the chef! I forget his name but he was so gracious in explaining the salsas he creates and adds to the juice for that delicious burst of flavors! I had never seen this before. It elevated that dish so much. He spoke about how this is actually traditional in his hometown in MX. He then surprised us when he came out with 2 small bowls of the salsas, one brown and one deeper red. So delicious and fun to taste on their own and with chips too! I had a combo plate with the chili verde enchilada and chili relleno. Two eggs cooked your way over crunchy corn tortillas, topped with ridiculously flavorful crumbles of chorizo, nestled over black beans, with cilantro, red onion, and salsa on the side. It's savory, crunchy, spicy, filling--and exactly what my post-night-shift soul needs at an hour when normal people are eating oatmeal. The chicken mole is another WIN. Tender chicken covered in a rich, deeply flavorful chocolate mole sauce that had me sitting there thinking, "Okay Oaxaca... I see you." Absolutely delicious. The only miss for me so far was the breakfast burrito. It wasn't bad, just pretty average compared with everything else I've tried. When your huevos rancheros are out here performing at Bruno Mars levels, "pretty good" just doesn't hit the same. I'll update this review once I actually visit in person. Until then, Oaxaca will remain one of my favorite 7-AM-dinner spots--and night-shift me is VERY grateful it exists.

I watched the guy cooking ,, cut raw pork on the cutting board and then only wipe it with a dry rag after , then he put tortillas and bread on the same area without actually cleaning it ,, this is a huge no no ... I threw my torta away because he cut the bread in the same area . Another problem was it took 30 minutes for a to go order ,,, I ordered 3 tacos and a torta all Carne Asada,, waited 30 minutes . Unfortunately due to them cutting raw pork on the cutting board and not cleaning it I wouldn't go back , this is a great way to give someone food poisoning.
