So far the best Mexican place we've found in Casper. The food is authentic, the portions large, and the blue Margarita is to die for!

A great place to find across a long journey. Lots of great choices, carne Asad's steak was super tasty.

I have eaten here on two seperate visits to Casper and both times the food was good. It's typical Mexican food but good quality and made fresh. Service was also excellent read more

I loved every bit of this place! The food was amazing! The Margaritas were delicious! The staff were super friendly and attentive. They know what they are doing here! I love Guadalajara! read more

Thanks to Yelp for suggesting this one! They serve excellent Mexican food at a steal of a price! I had the "Garden Burrito" which was not only absolutely delicious, but it filled the entire plate! Top that off with the fact that it was less than $7.00, the service was FAST, and the atmosphere inviting, and Guadalajara is a WIN in my book! I will definitely be patronizing them on a regular basis from now on when I am in Casper! read more

I would hesitate to give this place the 2 dollar sign rating for price. It's much closer to a 3. Got steak fajitas and they were solid. Same for the complimentary chips and salsa. I've heard from 3 locals now this place is good but La Cocina is better. read more

We ordered the Texican Fajitas. There was nothing Texas about them or Mexican. DO NOT order them, they were awful. There is mushrooms in them and some type of red sauce. Other food may be ok but the fajitas were terrible! Unlike the other comments though the service was great. That is the only reason they got one star. read more

Our regular place for fast, always consistant savory mexican food. Not the fresh mex type but the smokey rich enchalada sauce type. One waitress has a crush on my 4yr old I think cos she always comes to see with him :) he has a crush on her too read more

Food was ok, but the waiter Jose sucked. After he brought the food he never came back to the table. Both kids were thirsty had to flag down a random waitress not assigned to our table. Then had to ask for more drinks and boxes. Never saw that Jose dude again. WTF read more

Service is kind of slow and i never know who my server is, but it's been my boyfriend and I's favorite Mexican spot!

Did not get to eat there... We waited for about 10 minutes a lady came and we ordered our drinks..chips and salsa arrived chips, were super greasy salsa had no flavor and yes they served some kind of beans to eat with chips. Ordered aguas of jamaica .etc they where in our opinion made from powder. .it took a good 10 minutes to arrive..another 15 minutes went by and nobody ever took our order...we were ignored since there was a party on the middle of the restaurant . At that point we left ...nobody said thanks or good bye And yes we paid x the drinks we did not drink a decision we now regret. Avoid this place...a total waste of time and your money... read more

We'd heard this was the best spot for Mexican in Casper, but Guadalajara definitely did not live up to the hype ... Big disappointment because these two Texans were craving some good grub. The service was incredibly slow and the food was sub-par. Would not recommend. read more

Upon arriving I was a little skeptical. Exterior of building needed work. Cracked windows, potholes in parking lot. We received chips, Salsa and beans immediately. But about 7 minutes later we finally got to order our drinks & meal. I ordered The Grande combo (Tamale, Taco, enchilada)Taco was soggy. Big portions. Staff was friendly. But not enough for a 2nd return. read more

Guadalajara - Tortillas Chips, Salsa, Refried beans - Mexican Near Me - Casper, Wyoming

See all

There food is decent! Pretty sure they reheat everything in the microwave!! Not sure why it's this high up on yelp!!

This place was excellent. The food is truly authentic Mexican food. The décor was fun, and the service is fantastic. By far the best Mexican food in Wyoming. The soft tacos were delicious. These people know their Mexican food. I will definitely be back. I am actually from Texas where there are Mexican restaurants on every corner. Guadalajara is right up there with the best Tex/Mex food or even the restaurants in Mexico. LOVED IT! read more

We pick our restaurants when traveling based on online reviews. We also like local restaurants that are frequented by locals. Guadalajara seemed to be full of locals. They bring both salsa and a very good bean dip with their tortilla chips and their chips are some of the best I've ever had. The bean dip was exceptional. We got our food very quickly and it was good. I had the chicken taco salad and it was generous, but I thought the salad was a little dry since I didn't get guacamole. I ordered more salsa and used it for dressing. Overall, the food and service were good. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

I love this place! Good for both takeout and dine in. Relaxed environment. Best carne asada tacos in town.

Certainly four stars. Great ceviche and salads. Offers the usual Mexican restaurant fare, but try the more authentic dishes and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Ask for some of the habanero hot sauce if you like it with a kick. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Casper. read more

I love the food here, but the gals at the booth who take your name and seat you could be a little nicer. They snicker if you don't speak their "talk". couldn't be bothered to even look at you, didn't greet you, etc.....ON THE OTHER HAND, the people who have been working here for years are still great, they remember you and what you like. They give you a lot of food for your money, really worth it. And I love the Habanero Sauce!!! read more

My friend and I visited here just last week for some afternoon margaritas, overall the experience was enjoyable but the service was a bit shady. They were very pushy that we order food even though we said we just wanted margaritas. We ordered the tropical pitcher (which had pineapple juice in it) but were later charged $28 for the Cadillac pitcher (which had premium spirits). Totally different margaritas but when we asked to speak to a manager about it they were "out"... But that the price was the same since the juice was the same cost as the premium liquors, but I remain unconvinced. The waitress also told us we needed to pay since she was leaving, I found this rude. I wait on tables and I would never tell guests that they need to pay so I can leave.... Anyway we paid and chatted a little longer and a half hour later our server was still walking around serving tables... So she told us to pay because she had to leave but she had more tables? Hmmm. I will say that we enjoyed the margaritas and the ladies that checked on us (not our server mind you) were awesome. I would give this place one more try about six months from now but not for margaritas. read more

I'm giving this place five stars because it's the best Mexican food in Casper. I've had better, but they have super good food and tasty margaritas. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. read more

Best margaritas! I always come here with my sisters and we get fajitas to share--a nice family meal! I love this place so much--excellent freebies, great service, great food and drink. read more

I've never left hungry! Portions are HUGE! Food is average. Would like it more if they spiced it up a bit. Looking at the parking lot, it's always full, but the place is huge and I've never had to wait. Service is friendly and efficient. Decor is cool.... My kids love the skeletons! I eat here often but I'm never wowed by the food. It is in a convenient west side location which is why we end up here. The food reminds me of Casa Bonita in Denver a little bit.... Just way more of it! If these guys would add some heat and authenticity, it would definitely take them to the next level. read more

Thought this would be like the Guadalajara in Billings or Seattle. It is definitely not. Was not a Mexican restaurant I would ever return to not even if someone else was buying. read more

I There is not a lot to choose from to eat in Casper, and I've lived here my whole life and we only started eating at Guadalajara about 2 years ago. Casper is not a friendly town, and the people just seem to hate their lives so I barely every get friendly service. (Cannot wait to move!) But this resteraunt has great service and great food. Prices are good and the staff is just so great! The only thing is that it sometimes takes a long time for them to bring ticket ect I think they forget because that place is ALWAYS busy because it's sooo good!! Even though it's always busy though they do a great job of getting food out fast! read more

Their beans are yummy. I've had there their bean & chz burrito smothered in green & its amazing...I've also tried their chz enchiladas smothered in their red sauce & tht is also fabulous! I'd have to say its the best mexican place in casper, wy. It is also decorated very traditional colorful & welcoming. Love the water foutains they have! read more

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in Casper. The food was awesome! Love the unlimited chips, salsa, and bean dip. Incredible service too! The staff was wonderful. Great prices. Very affordable. Can't wait to go back! read more

My family has been visiting Guadalajara pretty regularly for the last 20+ years and have never once had a bad meal there. The managers and a few of the staff have been there for just as long and we're always treated like family when we go. I've tried most of the other Mexican food joints in Casper and Guadalajara is the best by far. The food is always fresh and flavorful. We try to switch up what we order every time rather than getting boring old burritos and tacos, not that theirs aren't awesome, we just like to be more adventurous than that. The chicken Mexican style and pollo con crema are to die for, seriously, and the carne asada and chicken mole were delicious. The portions are always huge and the staff is always friendly even when we don't get our usual favorites, and the service is generally great. There's a lot of whining about their service and speed on Yelp but I have never had that problem. I guess it depends on who you are and how entitled you feel to your server's undivided attention. read more
