To Have & To Hold

To Have & To Hold

Just when we were going to cars after a long, but wonderful day at the Red Poppy festival, we…read morenoticed a shop that has never been open when were in Georgetown. Yes, To Have & to Hold! To Have & To Hold is such a special little boutique in downtown Georgetown. The shop was filled with unique gifts for every occasion...weddings, baby showers, birthdays, holidays, and many other occasions. We met Dixie, the owner, and she is the quintessential Texas woman. You might also say she's a little fireball meant in the most complimentary way. She was Texas friendly on steroids. She greeted us and asked us questions to get to know us better. Then she offered us a sample of the spicey margarita. It was served in a thimble size cup, but very potent. By the way, for those who live in Georgetown, Dixie said she has a new drink sample every week. The store has a welcoming, charming atmosphere. At this juncture, I did not plan to spend another dime in Georgetown and after our lengthy stay, I was ready to exit stage left. Well Dixie had other plans. She told us this spicey margarita mix, which was sold in her boutique, could me made in the bag with only three ingredients. OK...she sparked out attention. After her soft sell pitch, my friend and I both purchased a drink mix. I purchased the spicey margarita mix and she purchased the lemon drop mixture. Prices were comparable to other similar stores. Then we exited stage left....left Georgetown...for real this time! Smile.

I definitely will be sending my clients to her from now on for any wedding favors/decor they may need. I bought some custom coffee cups for my own wedding and you truly cannot beat the price. Whether it's a small job for personal use logos on shirts for companies that need uniforms for employees or large corporate events/parties where you're giving gifts that have your companies logo, they have got you covered. The customization doesn't stop at t shirt prints they also provide custom hat stitching and printing on other items such as yeti cups, etc. My experience was extremely easy going and pleasant everybody was courteous, professional, and ready to help me with the designs for my project. When you enter into the shopping center lot you make an immediate right and keep going almost as if you're going to the back of the right side as far as it takes you. I did find that Google maps had the shop posted in the very front near the entrance of the shopping center, which was not the case .Nonetheless it is not hard to find because they have a big clear as day sign in front of their building , which is easy to read. Please give this local business an opportunity -in my opinion they are well worth it.

I can't sing the praises of Under Pressure Screen Printing Enough. The quality of the T-shirts and…read morethe printing results were all excellent. I had to make a few changes during the time I was working with Sam and the answer from him was always "no problem." We had a huget T-shirt order, I had to change the quantities, then I decided to change which type of T-shirt I wanted and then I wanted to change the size of the image--always "no problem." I love working with a business that caters to the customer. Truly a great experience and one bonus plus that I didn't expect is that it's possible to easily park right in front of the business so no hassles. Loved it.

I needed a last minute screen printing job and was recommended to Sam, the owner of Under Pressure,…read moreby another local business who couldn't fulfill my small batch. You can either order products directly with Sam or bring your own. Sam prefers extra time to complete a job to make sure the screen print looks and works well on your products. Unfortunately, I was on a painfully tight timeline and needed this order fulfilled in a matter of days to account for shipping as well. If you need a math problem, here you go: I brought in my own bags (33, Total: $2,437.00). The screen printing job cost $333.00. After completion, Sam notified me he butchered the first bag since that was the test product, that leaves 32 viable bags. When I came home, I noticed there were 3 bags off-centered; his error, not the bag's. Each bag cost around $74. Therefore, I needed to purchase 4 more bags for him to redo (Total: $296.00). So, in addition to the $333 job order + the repurchase of additional bags due to damage ($296.00), my total order was $629.00... Though I am grateful for Sam being able to complete a rush job, I wish he would have compensated for the damage and misalignments, but it is what it is.
