I drive a 2014 Challenger and it was starting to pull when I turned. Took it in to GT Pit Stop and they fixed it right up now the steering is smooth as silk. Great job guys! read more

Took my Audi A5 to these guys and they did exceptional work and the price point was fair. I would recommend to a friend.

It's been 6 months since my last oil and filter maintenance for my 17 year old car. I ended up also needing to have my struts replaced, my brakes cleaned and other repairs. One of the owners, Sam, took care of the maintenance and work on the car as well as tested it for any issues after the work was done. Despite being 15 - 20 minutes away via the highway, I like that they are transparent on things, offer advice and try to explain things so that a non-car person like myself can understand. The prices are fair on both labor and parts compared to a dealership repair jobs. It may be a local small shop, I feel like the work is quality, the updates are communicated frequently, especially on notifications reminding of the appointment which can be set up online. I've never had to go back because of bad repair job or an incomplete job. Can't say that about other repair shops. Update: They just sent me a link that provides my car history with them and all the work done. That is very cool. read more

AMAZING....AMAZING.... AMAZING service! They are truly one of a kind people and are always able to help. I found these guys from a random coincidence and the minute I met them their hospitality, professionalism, and determination to help me isn't just shown to me but to everyone that comes through that door. They recently moved to a new spot in which I didn't get to know but I witnessed a lot of old customers come to them still even after moving to an area that may not seem closer to them. This just means the loyalty they have on both parts and helps keep our cars running thank you guys -Carlos with the ghetto Tesla lol read more

This is my second time coming to GT Pit stop, and I must say I wouldn't go anywhere else! They're actually very honest and fair! We had our turbo go out on our 2017 Kia. Some other mechanic told us to fix it wouldn't be worth it and best to sell the car for parts. Gt Pit said NO PROBLEM and had it fixed in 1 1/2 days! QUICK and for a steal of a price, we would get updates on the car which is great not having to chase them down to get updates. They truly saved us a car and cash. THANK YOU SO MUCH! PS my car runs smoooooth now. read more

these people are wonderful!!! amazing service by sam, carlos, and joaquin!! they are very honest and well articulated!! prices reflect the work done! quality and trustworthy 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. im actually coming back soon to have more work done on my benz thank you again for such great work read more

Initially I wrote positive review for this establishment...turns out that I was a little bit hasty in giving them their praise. Fact is Carlos was very rude, dismissive and didn't even address my concerns about work they did previously on my car. They did not honor the warranty on the parts, they charged me for a new battery when in fact it was the alternator all along. When I tried to talk reasonably with Carlos he was rude. I called Sam and spoke to him and after a lengthy conversation he assured me that he would call me back in regards to some sort refund for the said part in question. That was on September 27, 2021...Today is October 21, 2021 and I have yet to hear from him. So...not only did they do substandard work, overcharge on parts, poor customer service but the biggest disappointment is the fact that they do not keep their word, and as a businessman in business that's a no no. I personally have not gone back there nor will I and anyone that I know that needs foreign car repair, trust and believe that I will NOT be recommending them at all! read more

BEWARE, I don't know how this place has 5 stars. Took my car for fluid a leak, was given a estimate over $900, decided to get a 2nd opinion, declined their service over the phone. Picked up the car, was running rough, put it on the scanner at home, code read "mass air flow sensor ". Took it to another mechanic, didn't need all the parts replaced that gt pitstop said AND the MAF sensor was just unplugged, all of a sudden, AND charged me $70 to "look" at it. read more

We took our car in for a repair and in that time, our daughters iPad was stolen from the vehicle. Unfortunately all it takes is one employee to ruin the reputation of an establishment. It's a shame because one of the guys there was very helpful. read more

My experience was similar to the couple that went to Vegas. I stopped by chance because my a.c, needed Freon and his shop happened to be open and right off of the exit I chose to take. He took care of me in a matter of minutes, charged a reasonable fee and was friendly. We chatted a bit about cars and he won my confidence. I made a mental note to get his card and use him next time I needed a car repair. Mind you his shop is over 30 miles from my house but that's how confident I felt about his ability and his integrity. Two must haves in a mechanic but you"'ll play hell trying to find one in California! Anyway, long story short my transmission went out and he was quick in fixing it, reasonable in price and worked with me one the last hundred or two on the bill knowing I used my car to work. Of course I paid him promptly and will never let one more money grabbing, oily, lie telling mechanic swindled me. The owners name by the way Mr. Las Vegas...is Sam. AND SAM, IS THE MAN! read more

I feel so lucky to have found this place. I've been dreading taking my car in for a long time worried about what the problem was gonna be. I spoke with Joaquin and this dude literally took his time and sat down with me and looked up all the diagnoses codes with me, explained what they meant and went over all the options we have. Smart, trustworthy and just a good guy. 10/10, thanks bro. read more

Took my truck in for warranty it started to leak paid these guys over 900$ once i received my vehicle my mirror was shattered they didn't tell me about the damage done to my vehicle i ended up finding out myself have waited for a replace for over a month now i called them constantly to see the process they told me they ordered the mirror from VIN and they weren't the correct ones they kept telling me since i added the mirrors that finding the one needed is hard to find they even told me " we ordered the original one yours are added i didn't break it " went today on 11/28/23 they ordered the mirror with signal but wasn't the right one carlos started to get passive aggressive insisting it wasn't his fault the mirrors were added the whole point is if i added them or not you should still be responsible for what your shop damaged Sam was telling me the same thing i even think he got annoyed i kept calling about the mirror issue i've only called 5 times to see what's the process the first mirror no signal the 2nd mirror had signal but no power fold and was a cheap knock off from ebay wasn't even OEM on the third mirror i started to get the run around i even asked if i can just get the money from mirror told me if i don't hear back from him on thursday then on friday i can go get the money i dont recommend this shop they are over priced and aren't responsible for damages done to vehicles TAKE WITH UR OWN CAUTION! read more

I have a 2014 Chevy impala. My car was overheating and smoking really bad. I took my car to the shop and Sam was very professional as well as Carlos the receptionist. Turned out I had a cracked radiator they were able to take care of the issue within a day. Sam seems to be a genuine person and he's really honest and fair with his pricing I definitely do recommend taking your vehicle here if you have any issues whatsoever they will go ahead and get the job done read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! These guys are the reason people don't trust mechanics. The beady-eyed guy in the office tried to SCAM my mother-in-law out of $4,000! That's right, not 400, but FOUR THOUSAND dollars. She's a little old lady and came in claiming her transmission was bad. Guess what? They confirmed it! They took a down payment of over $2,000, then called her back a week later saying they couldn't find the transmission and she should go with a refurbished one (the same thing they were trying to convince her of initially, when she told them "No, I want a new one"). She opted out and asked for her car back. They issued her a refund minus $600 for the work they had already done (oil change, timing belt, fluid flush), none of which she wanted. We have since taken her car to two more places, including the DEALERSHIP, and they've both told her that her transmission is perfectly fine. These guys don't belong in business, they belong on the losing end of a lawsuit. BEWARE! On top of all that, the guy in the office was as rude as can be: ultra condescending, snobbish, and unbelievably cold when it came time to pay the piper. It was satisfying to watch him hand write the refund check, but it was still short those 600 dollars. If you appreciate honesty and integrity, this IS NOT the place for you. Literally ANYWHERE would be better, even the dealership where you bought your car. Save your hard-earned money and don't give it to these thieves. Don't trust the paid reviews you see here on Yelp. This is first hand experience of these guys' treachery. Looking to report them to the BBB, too. read more

Only 5 star it so everyone can see it Horrible job!!! I will never come here again. Asked to do a power steering job charged me 60 plus a senser was broke + 20 Never hooked on the senser. Part wasn't installed right. Popped right off.... paided this guy 80$ For nothing wasted my money read more

Carlos and Sam are great! This is the second time I have taken my Range Rover to them, and once again, treated fairly, professionally, and was under budget. Very knowledgeable and personable. Strongly recommend. read more

These guys are truly amazing . I've never had luck with previous mechanics and/or shops. Sam inspected my truck and made sure I fully understood the problem and how it would be fixed . He was very fast and efficient with the work . I'm very happy I finally found such a good mechanic read more

I took my BMW X5 there and Sam kept my vehicle for 11 months. I paid $1,900 to get it fixed and the only thing I received was my vehicle with a dead battery and no refund. Sam promised to refund my money. He sent me a text once and as I called him he promised to repay me. He never did. He is a man with no honor. His word means nothing. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Carlos is very honest and service gets done quickly. He did a through check on my car to make sure he was accurate his diagnostics.

Noticed there was black dust coming from what I assumed was my tire. Very concerned and from out of town, I thought I have to find a mechanic or take it to the dealer. Decided to go here. Let me first say!!! How welcoming they made me feel, explained to the gentleman of my concerns (a possible brake job). After the inspection, he explained that I still had 20 percent left on my brakes... the dust is common due wear , no hurry to change he state...Long story short!!! They fixed my car, I had them do the brakes...So when they quoted me the price I just about fell off my chair!!! NOT from sticker price.....but by how extremely fair they are!!! They made a customer for life with me, as well as my family!!! Kept up the Good work!!! read more

I now love this place! I brought my car in for a flat tire repair and was seen right away, wasn't even there 15 minutes! Very nice, close to home, perfect in price, will always go back! read more

I came here as a reference from my tow truck driver. Even though I originally was going to take it in to Chevy dealership in the first place.. I decided to go with his reference since it would most likely be cheaper. Let me tell ya, I should of just stuck with going to Chevy in the first place. I was tricked to believe that what was wrong with my car was simply the battery ($200 charge for new one) okay I get it replaced.. I get my car and 2 hours later I'm left stranded! Next morning my car doesn't start either. I let Carlos who seems to be the owner, know what was going on and has me bring in my car to check it. I take it in and tells me that it's now my Alternator and it was going to be another $600. How was this not seen from the very beginning? It baffles me. After going back and fourth with what work was done on my car and still needs to be done, I feel like I've been scammed and I'm no longer choosing to do business with them. Now I have it get checked by the dealership and it turns out it was the starter ALL ALONG. I didn't even need a new battery! This place is just out to rob you for your money! Prices are just outrageous. They will take advantage of you by telling you it's one thing to only have it be something completely different. This is a shop that repairs old cars to be sold.. they're probably out to get your good new parts from your car to place it on the ones they want to sell. This place is a complete scam!!!! Do not bring your good cars here. You're only going to be paying an arm and a leg for some crap scammy work!!! read more

Had a nice experience with the workers, and they fixed my flat.

AMAZING! Truly the most HONEST AND HUMBLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE MAN! I didn't get a chance to get the owners name but he was literally the most kind man in the world. We are from San Diego and were driving to Las Vegas for the weekend. It was getting late and we had an issue. Long story short, we were screwed, GT pit stop was right about to close and the owner was so kind and selfless. He said "not a problem I will stay open and fix it for you" we bought a part from autozone quick and he installed it in like 15 minutes. He was literally so knowledgeable and kind. He knows his way around a car for sure. When we asked what we owed him he said "whatever you can find in your heart to give me" he wasnt even gunna charge us! He simply said "I just always like to help people and do things for people that I would hope they would do for me if I were in need." This is the kind of auto shop you wait a lifetime to find! read more
