*responsive, well priced, but unfortunately overall unprofessional*…read more Experience below: Due to a new baby and a heavy work schedule for my husband we had to search for a lawn cutting service this year. I texted Kingdom Cutters for an estimate. I also informed him at that time that there was cement in my yard (very long ago there was a house there and after it burned down the lots were combined) which can be annoying and also that it is VERY over grown because we kept trying to get out to do it but it rained which didn't help the overgrowth. I gave them my information and he messaged me later with a quote and saying he had driven by my house to see the yard. The price was great and he was very quick to respond. He informed me I could pay cash, check, or Zelle. I informed him I would pay cash. The day came for him to cut it. I didn't know he was even here until I heard the weed whacker. I ventured outside to introduce myself, explain that there is a section that didn't need to be mowed, and to let me know if the price would be increased now that he was out there doing it. The yard was bad! He said the price would be the same and to let him know about setting up for weekly mows. So I told him to let me know if he needed me. I would be inside. He was outside for atleast an hour. The lawn looks fine. Some spots were definitely missed, but it's not the end of the world. I'm not crazy about my yard. Just need it short enough so the kids can play and such. This is where things went down hill. He left. Did not come to the door for the money. Not a "Hey I'll email you an invoice" just left. Called about 20ish minutes later asking if he left a barrel somewhere in my street or yard. I sent my son out to look 1st. Informed him it wasn't there and didn't get a chance to ask about the money. I myself went out later to double check that there was no barrell. Next day about 3 in the afternoon. I receive a text saying he could no longer service my yard due to... the cement in my yard... and my street. The same cement I told him about in my 2nd text message to him, and the same street he drove down to check my yard. I feel like if he was concerned about the cement he just had to ask and I would of happily given him permission to walk my yard before the quote, and I'm not sure what I'm personally supposed to do about my own road that the town manages. Poorly manages, but nevertheless not me personally. My yard also did not reappear in a new spot down a harder road then the one he drove down to actually see my yard. He then requested I Zelle him my payment, despite telling him I would pay cash. I don't have Zelle and we had already agreed to cash. I assume he did not want to come pick it up in person after leaving abruptly and canceling any future jobs with my family. After some go around I was able to PayPal him his payment.

Was great while it lasted. Told the young man when we started I needed services until I move. Life is short, don't affiliate yourself with anyone who does not want your business. Def not in the business of stressing out a lawn service provider nor myself. Self propel and answer to myself from now on. Good luck though

As we sought bids for our new house ( for work that involved final grading, application of planting soil in the beds, mulching of the beds and install of sod) we experienced landscapers not bothering to respond, visiting our yard and not following up with a quote, quoting high etc. From my first contact with Ryan Neises, things went smoothly. I had originally left a message on their machine and Ryan called me back later that afternoon. He came out shortly thereafter for the site visit and promptly presented his quote. His crew was able to start a couple of days earlier than expected. I felt that the crew did a careful job. The job took 4 days, and at the end of each day, they cleaned up before they left for the day. Even my neighbor, who has high standards, commented on the care with which the work was done. I had made some last-minute changes/additions and Ryan just adjusted the bill accordingly. The extra costs seemed reasonable for the extra work done. Even afterwards, on two occasions, I emailed Ryan with some questions about care and got prompt informative answers. Overall, I am very happy about the level of professionalism, communication and quality of work and would have no trouble recommending Neises Lawn Care & Landscaping to anyone. When I need more work done, Ryan will be the first person I call.

We live in a semi-rural area and there were no trees. I love trees and we have been planting them for nearly twenty years now. I recently purchased a few Pear trees from a local garden center. After several weeks they were not looking good. I also had Norway Spruce planted with the Pears. I reached out to Bryan with Neises and he explained what was going on, what my options were, and even what the long term prognosis would be. Assuming is never good. Don't assume that buying from a garden center that they know what is best. I did tell the garden center where I wanted the trees and they were very nice and the trees looked great. I had no idea they were planted too close together. Obviously, they didn't either. I will continue to use Neises for all my future landscaping needs, as long as Bryan is there. Knowledge is Power!
