Just had my irrigation completed today. All I can say is very happy with the end result. Miguel…read moreand his team did a great job! The most important thing about the install was the communications. Suggestions on where to put the sprinkler heads versus where I wanted them. Length of the spray and coverage. That's good customer service. If you have flower beds you may want to consider sprinkler heads just to cover that (but at added expense). So, its important that you be home on the days(s) that they come and work with them to get a good result. That said, couple of other points: 1. You have a option to use "Rain Machine" versus the Toro controller board. Do NOT use Rain Machine as it has a $30 a month subscription fee. I didn't ask if you could use other models but something to consider. But its programmed and I should not have to touch it again until Fall. 2. I waited about over 3 1/2 months to get this installed. Its wasn't so much about waiting then it was about getting notified about where I was on the list and how long it could be. From reading the other reviews, seems like that customer service seems be at the forefront of most the ratings. Thomas (Matt & Andrew) should look into these and see how they can improve. Did dock a "*" from the review for this issue. 3. Make sure you get on the schedule to get your irrigation lines blown out. Need to get it done before the first freeze.

What a few months can do to end a positive business relationship and turn into something unexpected…read moreand horribly unprofessional. Once they are done with setting you up, they get paid and now they don't answer their phone messages. Two (2) of my heads, broke and never once called me back. Very poor way to run a business! Avoid this fly by night operation at all costs. NOT RECCOMMENDED.

TERRIBLE SCHEDULING & VERY RUDE. We are LONG-TIME CUSTOMERS. Yesterday, we had an appointment that…read morehad been booked FOR WEEKS with Lake Irrigation to turn on our sprinkler system and test our backflow, but (consistent problem), THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. We wasted a day waiting for them at home. They also did NOT CONTACT US to let us know they wouldn't be coming. I've called them twice and texted twice...NO RESPONSE. My wife (calling from a different phone) had no problem getting through. The lady who handles scheduling (Karen) said in an annoyed tone (NO APOLOGY), "I'm out of town. I don't know if you were on the schedule. I can't even look at this until tonight." Again, no apology. No attempt to re-schedule. My wife asked, "Wait, you don't show up and you can't even reschedule me or tell me when you're actually going to come do the job?" The lady snapped: "I'm not home!" and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE. I spoke to this woman twice in the past month about this appointment: ONCE to book and ONCE to confirm they will also do a backflow test. She confirmed both and I even texted her our CCN# earlier this week. One more thing: WE DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. On June 22, 2023, we had ANOTHER APPOINTMENT to turn on our sprinklers. Lake made us (again) waste an entire day, NOT SHOWING UP, not contacting us and not apologizing. I have no idea why we kept doing business with Lake Irrigation, but we will NOT make that same mistake again and are looking for a good alternative in our area.

Excellent company with outstanding customer support. We've been using Ricci's for the past 5+ years…read morefor a variety of projects. Landscape design, they install and maintain our irrigation/sprinkler system and do our weed, fertilizer and mosquito control spraying. Their in-office customer support staff is awesome; polite, professional and friendly. All of their technicians (including David who, at this moment, is repairing a sprinkler system pipe leak caused by another company) are well-trained, knowledgeable and efficient. They show-up when they say they will and do a great job when they're here. We're RLM people for life!

This review originally had more information, some details of my complaints, photos, etc., that I…read morebelieve are accurate. I subsequently received a letter from a lawyer for this company threatening all kinds of legal hell and damnation if I did not remove the review. I believe that in a lawsuit I would ultimately prevail as I also believe the facts are on my side, but the costs of litigating can be oppressive. So for the time being I have removed the original test of this review and photos, while I decide if it's worth the costs of getting my own lawyer involved. Ask yourself do you want to do business with a company that when they receive complaints and bad reviews, gets their lawyers involved rather than engaging with the customer to resolve the issue or posting their own side of the story for the public to see?
