The people who brought in aggressive dogs and talked back to everyone

Never coming back to this park again. Sucks because I used to come with no problems and will have to drive farther out for a new dog park. A man and a woman ruined it for everyone and I'm guessing these are the same people everyone's complaining about when it comes to aggressive dogs. They brought in a pack of dogs and one on a leash handled by the woman that was extremely aggressive. My dogs are such sweethearts and wouldn't pick a fight with any dog. I had my corgi with me in the large dog area and keep an eye on him and my other dog who is a pit mix. I go to the big dog side because of my pit mix. She's a rescue so I rather have her choose a fight with a big dog than a small one if she ever showed any sign of aggression but she has never in the year I've owned her. Their German Shepard bit my corgi in the neck and rolled him over and was super aggressive with the rest of the dogs as they came in. I ran over immediately and they didn't bother to try to get their dog off my corgi. I had to get in between them. They had 3 Germans and 2 chihuahuas. The owners seemed to try to pick fights with everyone else there saying, "that sounds like a you problem" when I told him he should never brings dogs like that in a pack and aggressive as they were. The amount of disrespect these people have. They also chose to call people names when everyone else in the park was wondering why they would bring dogs in like that. Obviously people aren't going to like disobedient dogs and owners that don't care. They ruined it for everyone so everyone decided to leave. You guys don't deserve dogs. I hope you see this.

Very dry and dusty, but a lot of fun!

My eight month old puppy had a great time here while we were in town on vacation. The park was easy to find and there seemed to be plenty of parking in the afternoon. The park itself is very simple, with separate, equally sized sides for smaller and bigger dogs. Each have double gated entrances and water is available. There are chairs and benches available within the areas as well. Understandably, it is very dry and dusty, and you should be prepared to brush quite a few burs out of your dog when you get home. All four of my puppy's paws were packed with burs I needed to comb out, but he was tired and happy so it was worth it. Like other reviews had mentioned, I did see one woman who had brought her obviously bigger than 20 pound dog to the small dog side to play frisbee with, but at least they mostly kept to themselves and her dog did not seem interested in playing with the smaller dogs. And of course there was one guy who let his little pushy intact male dog be a nuisance while he stared at his phone but I don't even think he stayed for more than ten minutes. That said, the people were very welcoming and their dogs seemed generally well socialized so everyone could have a good time.

After the dog park. He is pooped!

Took my 2 puggles & my frenchie here on a Saturday morning, the areas are well kept & grassy & there is a ton of room for running. It was not overly crowded, in fact, we were the only ones in the small dog area for a good while. Parking wasn't too bad either. We will be back, but I just wish people would do a better job of picking up after their dogs. I brought poop bags & picked up any mess my dogs made, but it was clear that not everyone wanted to be responsible owners.

It's nice they try to put in the effort to keep the park clean, which I appreciate. There are plenty of garbage cans for waste, which makes it easy to keep things tidy. Unfortunately some people don't pick up after their dogs. The park seems more dirty after the weekends, because more dogs are there Saturday and Sunday so more opportunities for people to not clean up after their dogs. Come on people, keep an eye on your pup and do the right thing!!! I do wish there were more trees or shaded spots out in the grass for the pups during the hotter months -- it can get pretty toasty out there. The picnic tables are under a shade structure, which is good. It would awesome if they could plant more trees. Every now and then, you'll see someone with a larger but mellow dog in the small dog area, but honestly, they all seem well-behaved and gentle, just a bit shy around the bigger dogs. There have been quite a few flies, but that seems to be more of a general outdoor issue everywhere, not specific to the park. Hopefully as the weather cools the flies go away. Overall, it's a good place for friendly, social dogs to run, play, and make new friends. Worth visiting if you're looking for dog park in the area.

Unfortunately, many owners do not pick up their dog's poop. Walking through the parks is like walking through a minefield. There are plenty of pooper scooper shovels and rakes, but many owners are too lazy to use them. I had to clean off my shoes before entering my home afterwards. Come on people, pick up after your dogs. You're ruining the experience for the many who care.

This is not the closest place for me to go but it's by far the best. 3 large fenced in dog park areas, many types of friendly and fun pooches will be there for your fur babies to play with. It's fun for me to see all the different types of breeds that come here. Most of the pups are well behaved. I've seen a couple times some negligent owners on their phones so spaced out, don't pick up their dogs poop or watch what their dogs are doing, but as far as dog parks go- it's the best for not having to stress that something negative will happen. I've been to other dog parks in the area that just had bad vibes. This one is nice and happy. It's as clean as a dog park can be, they do regular maintenance to the grounds, and there is a huge parking lot. It's also nice to walk the dogs in that area as well. My boys love it here and I'm happy to take them. Important to note- check the hours on certain days since they do the maintenance and close the parks. I've shown up a couple times forgetting about this and it was closed, so we just went for a nice walk instead.
