As it turned out, the gear mechanism was jammed. The mechanic was quick to figure it out, correct the problem, and got me on my way. I'm grateful to this guy who sized it up so quickly.

My husband's car would not start after trying to get it jumped at Zumbrota high school which is a few blocks away from Berg's towing. Called the tow truck who worked with Berg's towing. Great guy. He knows what he is doing and figured out what was wrong with it just by the sound it made. Flat rate to get it towed to their shop $130. If we bring it to the shop, they will give us a discount on the tow. Who wouldn't take that offer. Brought the car in Thursday morning 7AM. Tow guy said they won't be able to look at it until Friday. Friday comes, I called the shop, Berg said the car is up in the shop. Hopefully Saturday they will give us a diagnostic and estimate. Awesome, right. Saturday morning 10 AM, I called and Berg, of course said it is a fuel pump issue but they don't know which one. He had to call a friend to get a second opinion on which fuel pump it is. Now, this shows that the mechanics working on the car, are incompetent and unable to figure out which one. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. 1 PM, I called them check for an estimate and what are the diagnosis. Berg, being disrespectful said to stop calling them as they are still working on the vehicle. As a customer, I am allowed to call and check up on the vehicle. Have not gotten a clear diagnosis and estimate, they are incompetent and running business unprofessional. Monday afternoon, I called and Berg, of course, said if I keep calling, I should take the vehicle elsewhere. Didn't say a word and respectfully request we need an estimate and time when to get the vehicle back. Later that day, I just randomly search on Google for a professional car shop. We called Mosaic Chrysler, asking for an estimate on how much it would cost for a failed fuel pump and the vehicle that needs a fix. The guy said the car was in their shop! Berg towed the vehicle to their shop with an invoice without our consent and knowledge! We will file against this business as they moved the vehicle without our knowledge and consent. As well was BBB because they are unprofessional and commited a crime.

A Truly Exceptional Car-Buying Experience - Worth the Drive, Worth Your Time…read more In an age where customer service often feels like an afterthought, Mosaic Auto Motors in Zumbrota stands out like a breath of fresh air. What we expected to be another sales-heavy, transactional experience turned into something that felt genuinely human and community-rooted. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel not just welcomed--but understood. They didn't rush, pressure, or pitch. Instead, they listened. They asked the right questions. And more importantly, they treated the process like a journey--not just a transaction. I can't do justice without giving a special shoutout to Josh--every interaction with him was effortless, helpful, and refreshingly honest. And when Shawn, his manager, came by to check in, it wasn't awkward or overbearing like you often see elsewhere--it was timely, kind, and sincere. You could tell the whole team operates as one cohesive unit, and their goal is clearly to help, not just sell. We had visited a few dealerships up in the Cities prior to this, and truthfully, we just wanted to walk out of those places. Mosaic was the exact opposite--it felt like a place by the community, for the community. I don't say that lightly. If you're even thinking about buying a vehicle--new or used--make the trip to Mosaic. They have a great selection, and if they don't have what you're looking for, I have full confidence they'll do everything they can to find it. This is how car buying should feel--trustworthy, warm, and rooted in relationship. Thank you, Mosaic, for reminding us what good service feels like.

Unless you have the time and energy to go over every square inch of it with a fine-tooth comb you're going to pay too much and as you notice things later on you are going to be angry. Also you better ask in advance if they have both keys or you're going to end up paying a hefty price for a new key nowadays. Absolutely scammy. Don't fall for them trying to sell you every extended warranty that there is in the market either. And you're going to get that, and you're going to get that in a high pressure situation. No obviously doesn't mean no unless you say it 50 times. I bought from them and it will be a single mistake. If you're buying a new vehicle, then why not just go to the cities where you'll get a better price. And yes that's absolutely true 100
