To install the sump pump the work team removed concrete on the inside of the foundation, dug a trench, and then replaced the concrete. I had contacted some of the large basement repair companies and had received some quotes in excess of $35,000. Although their scope of work was larger and included trenching down to the weeping tile on two sides of the house to do repairs, it may have been a bit of overkill to fix the problem at hand. Through a friend I learned of LeMars Waterproofing. I called Trevor Martin and he promptly came and had a review of the project and provided an on site quote. He schedule the work for a week and a half later. He arrived on time with his crew and materials, installed 5 window well drains, raised 4 window wells, and installed one new one. He was very informative and his crew was knowledgeable and very cordial. The 3 man crew, including Trevor, hand dug everything mentioned as to avoid gas and electrical lines. Before they left, they had the work site cleaned up better than they found it. All of this came in at about 10% of the first quote. Although the first quote was a larger scope, I think Trevor addressed the issue at hand and provided a reasonable solution to our concerns. I would highly recommend their services.

I phone Basement system Edmonton and they came on the same day December 17, 2019, after pumping the excess water to my shower room and install the new pump. The job seems to look good. Two days after my basement alarm on again and water was rising. I call the company December 19, 2019 and answering machine said "we are on holiday and will be back January 2, 2020. ( no one called me back) and sent email ( the email was bounced ) with a pending emergency in my basement I call another company to help me with my basement problem.
