They were communicative of when they will be here, and did their work promptly. We will see what else they can do for any of our future projects!

Shaq, one of the owners, came by to discuss the plan and provided a quote that was lower than the lowest so far. He walked us through options, helped design the fence (as much as one can for a fence!) and scheduled 2-3 weeks out... a week later he texted and was ready to get started. Him and Jose came by same day, removed old fence, added all the posts. Jose came by the next day and added the boards and gates. The gate is so smooth and best reflects the high quality of work. We'll definitely hire Shaq and team for future work, potentially exterior painting, a bedroom addition, etc. Very pleased with their professionalism and work quality. Will post better pictures soon.

Wood isn t even pressure treated, posts are too short. Fence will probably have to be completely replaced in a few years. We had a wind storm and an entire 20+ foot section of fencing was swaying back and forth in the wind... They were always very friendly and customer service oriented though.

It is covid - not the only contractor complaining of lack of availability of skilled workers. I enjoyed meeting the crew members and all their hard work. They were easy to work with. One equipment operator damaged a new septic tank access box that had recently been installed. But that was quickly and easily replaced by the crew at no cost to me. Was not told until late that the asphalt material being used would not match previous/existing material; This material is much more coarse, so surface is not as smooth and will be harder to maintain. Asphalt job was finally, only partially finished. Too close to cold weather, so the seal coating will have to wait till spring. After completion of asphalt, I did notice some issues of some concern. There was heavy roller damage/chips on a year old concrete parking area in front of our garage. Also, there was supposed to be 2' thick layer of asphalt, but some areas are up to 5-6" thick, which poses some lawn maintenance/mowing issues along grass edges. Asphalt job was finally, only partially finished. Too close to cold weather, so the seal coating will have to wait till spring. I expressed some dissatisfaction to the owner and explained that I felt there were some 'damages'. He was at first a little hesitant/resistant to hear of my complaints/concerns. I asked for some relief from billing and was granted a minor adjustment - to my satisfaction. I appreciate a company who is sensitive to a customer challenging their job quality. Even the best companies sometimes have challenges meeting customer expectations. But what I appreciate even more is that we were able to work out something that will work for both of us. We are hoping the seal coating will be completed in the spring using Fidalgo Paving and that the quality will be very satisfaction.

Update: After some additional communication over email, I got a call from Benjamin with an update…read more He explained there had been a system bug that caused the delay in the report (which is normally sent immediately after inspection). He apologized, sent the official inspection report via email, and issued a full refund. While this came too late for me to use, I appreciated that the company made things right and honored their hassle-free refund policy. For that reason, I've bumped my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Original review: Disappointed with my experience. I scheduled a chimney inspection with this company because my HOA required it for insurance purposes. The inspector, Danny, arrived late to the appointment window (10AM-12PM), only calling at 12:30 to say he was 15 minutes away. While he was friendly, the inspection itself took less than 10 minutes. It consisted of a quick look inside the chimney and then on the roof. He explained a major issue with the chase cover, gave me a verbal price estimate, and assured me I'd receive a written report with photos "within an hour." Instead, what I received about 30 minutes later was only a repair estimate. There were no photos, no inspection details, nothing I could submit to my HOA. When I followed up by phone and email, I was told "we'll look into it," but weeks later I still haven't received a report. The payment process also felt unprofessional. I was asked to enter my credit card into the inspector's cell phone, which did not feel secure. In the end, I paid for an inspection but only got a repair estimate. My HOA still required another company to perform their own inspection, so I had to pay twice. If you need an inspection report for insurance or HOA requirements, I would not recommend this company.
