a backyard with a fence

My Wife and I always get at least 3 Bids/quotes when doing a project. For our fence we ended up getting five. In the end selecting A Living Art Landscaping made it a easy choice! They are a small Family business that delivers big on top quality work! They really take PRIDE in their work and use only top quality materials ..Shak and Mr Kalyan went above and beyond from start to finish. Our Family and friends all had nothing but rave reviews On our finished Mod Panel Fence!! We will look to A living Art Landscaping for our future projects!

The entire back corner was overtaken by blackberry bushes. The previous owners called it the "wild side," and we quickly learned why

Our previous home was on a half acre and the previous owners had it landscaped to be too much for us to manage. It was unruly and we let the yard go much longer than we should have before getting help. Part of the yard was overtaken by blackberry bushes and other prickly vines. The rest of the beds were full of weeds that were waist high, no joke! Vipin and his team came out right away and gave us a spot-on quote. Work started several days later and they blew us away with how quickly they were able to make our yard look beautiful again! They were always punctual and went above and beyond what we had talked about in the original quote. We will definitely be using them again!!

Shakeel and team were amazing! They repaved our long driveway and backyard patio in preparation to sell our house. The work was done beautifully, on time, and in budget with what they had quoted us initially. Shakeel's quote was also the fastest and cheapest quote we'd gotten. They were amazing to work with. Shakeel was very responsive to my calls and text messages. It was easy to coordinate their work with the various other contractors we worked with to get our home ready to sell. They added value to the purchase price of our home for sure! I've recommended them to my family for their concrete needs, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat for our new home!

Couldn't ask for a better experience! They were punctual, reasonably priced and super trust worthy. I had a gorgeous fence in a week while out of town and I am so beyond happy with it all. Highly recommend

They did a great job repairing and replacing part of my rotting-out fence. They're efficient and affordable. Good job, guys!

He walked us through options, helped design the fence (as much as one can for a fence!) and scheduled 2-3 weeks out...

They obviously didn't cal 811 and mark it first. Everyone knows about calling 811 before digging! My husband had to leave work(he's a teacher) ti go home and deal with the utility company. Which means he lost sick time because of their mistake. I do not recommend this company at all they do not know what they're doing!

It took me a while to write this review because at face value this business hits all the checkboxes and I personally know how challenging it can be to run a small business. I owe it to my neighbors, however, to provide an account of my experience. In summary, our landscaping project was 35% over budget, delayed, incomplete, and the workmanship was poor. This was despite all the time both my wife and I invested in being highly involved in the project. Each time I look at my backyard I get irritated at all the unfinished things we paid thousands for. Fence * Attempted to downgrade fence -We had an estate style fence. After conveniently forgetting what type of fence they removed days before, complaining that the contract didn't specify the type of fence and asking for pictures proving the type of fence we previously had, they reluctantly agreed to build a comparable replacement. * Didn't stain or seal the new fence. I'll have to either do it myself or pay someone else to do this. * Incorrectly installed sod - New sod was installed right up to the fence meaning that the fence will prematurely rot because the grass was touching the fence. I can also see gaps in the grass where the different sections of sod were patched together. * Inadequate fence posts - Fence posts were directly installed into the concrete without post covers. Also, the concrete used on the posts should be above ground, so the posts don't make direct contact with the ground. * Incomplete fence - We were supposed to have a pergola overhang on the fence that wasn't completed. * Missing section of privacy lattice. The fence was supposed to have a privacy lattice, but this work wasn't completed. * Gate:Door is noticeably uneven. The gap under the uneven part of the fence is large enough for my hand to fit underneath. Deck * Mismatched deck colors because selecting different colors would delay the project. * Railing -Incomplete with missing parts, poor workmanship, wrong materials(wooden 2x4s instead of cable railing), wooden lattice siding instead of facia. We purchased cable railing at our own cost, that was partly installed- two months later with several emails and text messages - and was done improperly. This work was never completed as they asked for more money. I have since completed the work myself. * Stairs -Facia only covered the front leaving the sides exposed. Defective materials * Retaining wall blocks were chipped - and when asked for replacements they only replaced a handful of blocks even though the manufacturer would have replaced them for free. Worksite * Unprofessional and unsafe worksite- At the end of each workday my yard was littered with garbage and tools scattered everywhere. We had to insist that they properly store their equipment, pickup their garbage and clean debris from the yard. What professional doesn't clean after themselves, store their tools, and shelter them from the rain. * They didn't order items on time, kept making mistakes, regularly leave the job the site early, refused to fix issues insisting that there was an extra charge to redo things correctly. Transplanted trees * Several trees and bushes were incorrectly transplanted. One mid-size tree toppled over a few weeks after they left the job site. These are just a few of the many issues we encountered with Vision Landscapes. I'd advise getting a neutral third party to review their work and withholding final payment until they address all the major issues. Best of luck.
