Great mechanic shop, awesome work and honest fair pricing. On time with completion of jobs. I've had the total come in under the estimate twice. They have worked on our BMW twice, we won't go elsewhere. read more

Disappointed kept my car for 7months, i was getting the run around, they didn't keep in touch I had to call, check the status it was always the same answer or the owner was working on it half the time owner wasn't there, I'll ask if the owner could return my call had concerns an questions. Serivce I'll give 4/10 I wouldn't recommend anyone else I had a friend came with there car, his car was there for 3 months and they didn't fix or give him any updates. Also poor mechanics need more training is my opinion. Idk but they'll never get my services again. Waisted time and money. my car actually at the BMW shop now read more

Absolutely will return to this shop if I have any future car issues. I asked them to look into a TPMS issue and do an overall check of my car. They were able to schedule me within 2 days. They called back gave me a full run down and a real assessment of what can be done vs. what needs to be done. Any other place they would have gone full speed ahead and charged and completed unnecessary work. You never know where to go or who you can trust when it comes to mechanics but this place is legit. read more

Fair and honest. It's hard finding trustworthy people as a woman for car services, I'm so grateful for the service and honesty I received.

Every family member has taken a vehicle there. They are fair and honest people that have always done a great job.

My alternator went out on me and they were able to get me in that day and have my car up and running by that afternoon. Fast service and quality job! read more

Grossman Tuning - Auto Repair Near Me - Louisville, Kentucky

I dropped my car off at Grossman's because the turn signals stopped working and the check engine light came on. They told me they would charge me a diagnostics fee and then call me before they did anything. They called me a few hours later and said I owed them $160. I owed them two diagnostics fees - one for the check engine light and another to tell me that my turn signal relay was out. And the rest of the $160 was labor to replace a part, which I was even told on the phone was "hardly a job." I was mad that they did the work without asking and then charged me this much, but I paid it because it was already done. THEN, I went to a scrap yard and found a couple turn signal relays inside some Honda Del Sol's (which are hard to find in the first place) to replace the one that they said was bad. None of them fixed my turn signals. Later I took my car to another mechanic who quickly told me that I had a bad fuse. So, I replaced the fuse and the turn signals worked perfectly with the original relay. I told Grossman's about this, hoping they would refund my money for a bad diagnosis, but I was told that since the time they spent making a bad diagnosis couldn't be returned, then neither could my money. I recommend you avoid giving them your business as well. read more

These guys checked out my car's clutch issue when I was on a road trip and I was in such a rush I didn't properly thank them. I should have tipped them for their kindness. I'd definitely return if I needed car repair in Louisville. A gem of a shop! read more

We took our '08 Toyota Sienna here for a troubling humming noise. We were in the middle of a 4,000 mile road trip across the country and didn't know any mechanics in Louisville. Grossman's was recommended to us by the first mechanic we went to who didn't have time to fix our van. They took the van in right away, diagnosed it as a front right wheel bearing replacement, and had the van fixed and back on the road a couple hours later. Our van is riding as smooth as new now. On top of that they were some of the nicest people we came across on our whole trip across country. I highly recommend this place! read more

I have two older Porsches -- a 1988 944 and a 2006 Cayenne -- that I would not entrust to anyone in Louisville but Grossman Tuning. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them over the many years they've been servicing my vehicles. read more

John Grossman and his staff are awesome! It's so great to have a mechanic that I can trust and know will do a great job and not try to rip me off. I highly recommend his services! My car is fixed and running perfectly and I spent far less money fixing it here than I would have anywhere else. read more

I took my Ford edge in to get breaks put on front...they called back and said you didn't need breaks, you just need the rust removed from your roters..I'm like great that saves me money..WRONG..the bill was almost as much as I was quoted for NEW breaks..185 dollars. I paid.115 dollars..remind you roters are only 50 each...so I Paid...on my drive home I hit the breaks doing 60mph and my truck is shaking like crazy. I call back he says..hmmm can you bring it back..it was already 6pm..I said I'm home now. He says bring in the morning...then I noticed my tire low light is on..they couldn't even put air in my tires..wow..so I take it back first thing 8am...NO mechanic are to be seen. He says we will get to it soon...an hour later and still nothing..so I call another place..135 dollars for the same job done right..I grabbed my keys and left..and I will be disputing the 115 dollars...I'm not paying for that shit read more

Let me just put this right here. The OWNER of this establishment owned a 2006 Honda Oddesy, one owner. Kept meticulous records and looked like a great purchase for my family of 6. However After owning this vehicle 2 months and putting less than 1 thousand miles on it the transmission it went out completely. Looking back at his records he claims to have done a complete rebuild on the tranny less than 5,000 miles ago... Interesting part is the work was done at his shop, on the 20th of December 2018. The work was warrantied 1 year or 12 thousand miles whichever came first. I find it very funny that he waited to sell said vehicle untill the one year marked passed and the warranty was no longer valid. He's a conman and I would never suggest doing business with this operation. To knowingly sell a vehicle that has serious problems as a great one owner vehicle in the middle of the worst recession in my lifetime, it's disgusting. I just wanted to let everyone who took the time to read this to know the truth. read more

I was in Louisville for business and the day I was trying to leave town, my check engine light came on in my 2008 Toyota Prius. They gave the car a diagnostic test for free and told me the problem. This was on a Friday afternoon and they needed the part from Toyota. They couldn't get it before they closed so the owner sat on the phone for me with two Toyota dealers trying to set up an appointment for me for 45 minutes. He also replaced my rear tail light that week. They are very fair and courteous. Highly recommended. read more
