While the staff have always been pleasant, the wait times have been extremely high. Upon finishing my appointment with my primary care provider next door, I was sent to the small suite for blood labs and waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seen, making this a 2-hour appointment for a routine prescription refill. On evenings when the lab is closed, blood is drawn during the appointment with a doctor, which seems more efficient. There are several draw stations within the lab, but they are not curtained and I made eye contact with someone in the waiting area while blood left my arm. I'm not shy or squeamish when it comes to blood, but this seems like an overlooked courtesy. There were also sterilization pad wrappers from a previous patient left at my draw station, and the openness of the materials (vials, syringes, needles, waste bins) makes this feel not just like a blood farm, but a liability. 3 stars are solely to the patient, kind phlebotomists doing what they can to shuffle the blood cattle along without any assistance.

When I asked "I thought copayments don't apply to annual physicals?" the front desk person said "this is your first time here" Again, billing insurance for billing sake. Saw a nice young medical assistant who had great bed side manner and took my details on a computer just moments after I wrote the same on the intake forms. Performed EKG. I never understand why doctor's offices do not read the forms. Dr. Abrash, entered to perform the physical. He appeared to be "phoning it in". Minimal bed side manner. He performed a complete physical. He did not explain EKG reading to me. I teach anatomy & physiology at a community college and know how to read an EKG. When he left the room to get my lab blood work request form I read my EKG, which was normal. Now for the blood work request. The insurance code used to justify blood work was "abnormal EKG". One would think a caring doctor would discuss an abnormal EKG. Also, the form said " the patient must make an appointment 1-2 weeks later to discuss the lab results" So now I need to go back and pay another copay to discuss results? Not even heading to lab. I'll find another GP and start over. Suggest avoiding this place.

I like his old office much better, But that is just my judgement and has no bearing on the service provided at all. The staff there are great and when Initially called for an appointment they fit me in the same day which was fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr Cyran to anyone looking for a great primary care physician.
