This lab recently opened as an en-suite option to serve patients within the Optum medical complex…read more I have been here twice so far, and each time the room is staffed by just one phlebotomist who also services sign-ins and registrations at the front desk. While the staff have always been pleasant, the wait times have been extremely high. Upon finishing my appointment with my primary care provider next door, I was sent to the small suite for blood labs and waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seen, making this a 2-hour appointment for a routine prescription refill. On evenings when the lab is closed, blood is drawn during the appointment with a doctor, which seems more efficient. There are several draw stations within the lab, but they are not curtained and I made eye contact with someone in the waiting area while blood left my arm. I'm not shy or squeamish when it comes to blood, but this seems like an overlooked courtesy. There were also sterilization pad wrappers from a previous patient left at my draw station, and the openness of the materials (vials, syringes, needles, waste bins) makes this feel not just like a blood farm, but a liability. 3 stars are solely to the patient, kind phlebotomists doing what they can to shuffle the blood cattle along without any assistance.

I've had 2 outpatient ganglion cyst removal surgeries here (2/'22 & 8/'26) and the care I received…read moreboth times were exceptional. From the friendly receptionists right when you walk in those doors & the security team who locks up your belongings while you're in surgery to the nurses- lots of nurses- they were all very sweet, caring just simply great and my doctor- Dr. Gilbert- an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand & upper extremity surgery- he is truly amazing. Not to mention, they literally waste no time- I was on the bed, hooked up to an IV within minutes, waited a little while, anesthesia kicked in, the last thing I remember was being in the OR & woke up in the recovery room. The PACU nurse made sure I was OK, gave me graham crackers & water, and even helped me get dressed. I was indeed well taken care of at this Hospital.

"The medical care here is outstanding. The physicians and clinical staff are exceptionally…read moreprofessional, attentive, and genuinely caring, which is why I have trusted them with my health. However, the front-office administrative process is frustratingly inefficient. Despite confirming my appointments promptly via SMS, I continue to receive redundant text reminders and repeated follow-up phone calls asking for confirmation. The lack of coordination in their scheduling system takes away from an otherwise high standard of care. I sincerely hope management addresses these administrative bottlenecks soon. If these communication issues are not resolved by the end of the year, I will unfortunately have to look for another practice for my ongoing care."

Lack of communication completely between the front desk and the physicians. Blood test request…read morenever sent to quest. But they did tell me the physician did not want any test for this visit. Except when I walked in the first thing she said was why didn't I go for blood test? Also had an echo cardiogram, and she was wondering why they did not set a follow up appointment with me to discuss the results. 10 weeks later.....The physician seemed fine. I had seen them previously before they moved into this group and I did like them very much. But this office is under completely different management. I have been a medical office manager, my whole adult life and the lack of communication and the lack of experience of the front desk is noticeable. I have had three maybe four appointments in this location and each time they ask me if I'm new and each time they tell me that my Medicare card is not valid. So while I do like the doctors, I am leaving this practice due to the problems with the front desk. Very disappointed and sad to leave, but the problems seem serious enough for me to find another primary care physician..
