Then gave me a clipboard to fill out and come back up to window to pay my co payment. Since I had a hunch something was not right about this place , especially it being in Antioch ... rightttt before I was about to pay , I said -- "I notice there's a lot of people here, but I have an appointment, so you know how long the wait is?" The lady responds "we are quite busy , maybe around an hour or more " Ok.. so there's no point and doesn't matter that I have an appointment? I just walked out. Of course I didn't think to check reviews beforehand , as it's a medical clinic , and I was referred here by sutter health, so I just rolled with it. This review won't matter , because it looks like many complaints about the same thing , so clearly they don't care. I guess what can I expect for an Antioch dump spot. He is one of my/our favorite doctors, and I/we have many, and we enjoy our visits with him and many laughs. He does need bigger waiting rooms . Dr Luo in the last three years has done excellent injections with no side effects or burst blood vessels. My occlusions are healing to the point of coming every 8 weeks in stead of the once a month injections. He has a wondrous manner with all his patients.

Even though this note was clearly posted, she told me she would not check me in and instructed me to wait in front of the closed Door 200. I followed her instructions and waited there. Later, another staff member came looking for me and asked why I had not checked in at Door 201. She explained that she had been calling my name but could not find me. I then explained that I was told by the front desk staff member to wait in front of the closed Door 200 instead of checking in at Door 201. In contrast, her coworker with brown hair was very friendly and provided excellent assistance. This situation caused unnecessary confusion and delay, and it could have been easily avoided if I had been properly assisted.
