Then the problems began. As I was leaving they promised me they would call me with information that I needed to run the treatment scenario by my insurance. On my way out I also requested that they email me so I would know for sure the proper email to use. I received no such email but I did then proactively email them information that they had requested to their business email. A few weeks went by; no phone call; no email; no communication whatsoever from them. Then, a few months later, I called. The person on the phone didn't acknowledge that I had sent the information I requested. They stated that no such information from me had been received. They also didn't acknowledge their promise to me to provide me the codes so that I could exercise my due diligence and run everything by my insurance. The pleasant (I am being ironic, she was rude) woman I spoke with told me that they were still waiting for information from me. I then informed the pleasant woman that I had the information they needed and requested - again - for them/her to email me so that I could respond with the information they said they needed. (Remember, my prior email was ignored - or never received maybe?) The woman I was speaking to laughed at me derisively for requesting that she be bothered (not an exaggeration, it was a literal "guffaw") with proactively emailing a potential customer. I didn't respond to her disrespectful tone or haughty, derisive laugh and pleasantly requested again that she email me first. She said, essentially, "sure, whatever." (Paraphrasing.) I did not react to the provocations of the receptionist/admin since I did really like the doctors. Of course you know the end of the story. The boss - pardon me, I mean the admin - did not email me. Maybe she's an undercover billionaire boss who runs the practice for fun and not profit; and she doesn't do things for lowly customers. Who knows, regardless, that's what happened. I wasted almost $200 out of pocket (my co-pay), drove quite a ways from my home, and had the pleasure of being disrespected multiple times. I am glad, however, that the admin felt powerful and got joy by being an mischievous gatekeeper. Low quality people enjoy abusing their power. Bottom line, if you can get past reception without losing your cool and get to the doctors (who are actually very pleasant and professional) you might consider this place. But if you are not a masochist then maybe consider a place where the staff CAN be bothered to be nice, professional, and considerate.

Going to the dentist is traumatic enough, so having someone you can trust with your smile is imperative! Unfortunately this is not the case for the staff at Elite Dental group in PK. She welcomed me as if we were old friends and let me know that I would be seeing Loretta first. Loretta is easily one of the nicest people that I have met in a long time. She explained everything that she would be doing, form x-rays to cleaning, and performed all of this PAIN-FREE! I then saw Dr. Lina - another wonderful lady. She explained how she would address the issues that I had with a couple of my teeth, and just like that, I was finished, and Nikki was scheduling my next appointment. Are you supposed to feel uplifted and cheerful after a dental appointment? That's how I felt!

I have been going to this dentist office for five years now. They are formidable, I have seen Dr…read more Lina, but now my schedule works better with Dr. Marc. It is a family owned business. They have two locations: one in Highland NY and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Both offices have similar hours, they are closed on Wednesdays and close around 2 PM on Fridays. Thursday is the day that they stay open late, until 7 PM. The staff is very friendly and personable. The dentists are very accommodating. For example, in order to get numb, I need a higher dosage than most people. At first Dr. Lina did not believe me, but she quickly understood and gave me an appropriate dosage. They also will tell you ahead of time if what you require is outside their scope, and they can give you referrals when possible. They listen to your concerns and double check everything to make sure your teeth and gum are healthy. They also send reminders for cleanings and check-ups in the mail and via text. Overall, I am very impressed with this office and would recommend them.

As a child my mom would take us kids to a dentist who must have had a secret love for causing pain. He would drill my cavities without the use of Novocaine. He probably didn't have a pain fetish but, he was definitely too cheap and in too much of a hurry to bother with numbing teeth before drilling them. Needless to say, going to the dentist must have been a hidden fear of mine considering that I have been to the dentist 5 times in 25 years. Thanks to Aspen Dental I have now visited the dentist 12 times in 2 1/2 years. The free exam and x-rays were a nice surprise but, not compared to the pleasant and cheerful staff. Everybody treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable. The dentist who did the exam made sure that it was painless and explained, in detail, in a way I was able to understand exactly what my teeth needed. The staff up front did a great job finding a finance option that suited me. Not once did I feel embarrassed about my condition, all of my questions were answered and explained thoroughly and their knowledge of dentistry was impressive. My teeth are now in good condition and I look forward to my appointments thanks to the great staff at Aspen Dental.

I was overcharged, and my insurance was submitted claims for procedures that were never performed, which raises serious ethical and billing concerns. After a crown was placed in March 2025, my regular dentist later found excess cement left directly on my gum line--a basic and preventable error. My dentist was extremely disturbed by this and stated it could have caused damage to my gums. Leaving cement behind reflects a clear lack of attention to standard dental care and patient safety. To make matters worse, the crown fell off while I was eating (and unfortunately swallowed) yet I was told I would need to pay out of pocket for a completely new crown, despite the original being placed only months earlier. Refusing to stand behind recent work while shifting the financial burden onto the patient is unprofessional and unacceptable. Between the billing irregularities, substandard workmanship, and lack of accountability, I strongly advise others to avoid this office altogether. If you do choose to go here, verify every charge, closely monitor what is submitted to your insurance, and be prepared to seek corrective care elsewhere.

It seems to be a generally small practice so a typical patient is more valued. Last time the GPS sent me to the wrong end of Fox St; and kept rerouting me back to the same spot. Today the GPS did it's job. His assistant had me in two bibs to protect my clothes, asked if I wanted music, I thought I was on a cruise ship. Every knob, handle, wire, instrument in the room was covered with plastic. The Zeiss microscope was in its own sealed plastic bag. Dr. Blondin was in shortly. He explained what was going to happen today in his cheerful and reassuring voice. After a local analgesic; the work began. A dental dam was applied, then the drilling began. All the while the doctor was letting me know what was going on during the procedure. A few X-rays latter I was almost done. The X-rays showed the true picture of the bicuspid and the repair done. I'm way past the age of being in awe of anything.
