Did an incredible job trimming my dogs overgrown toenails. They trimmed with a toenail trimmer and ground the edges to a smooth finish. And my Doberman and Boxadore were calm and collected! read more

We have been taking our pooshon to Groomingdales for a couple of years and always been satisfied. We had to go a little longer because of a medical issue, and probably didn't brush him as much as we should, but he was not totally ignored either. The groomer said he was a bit matted and she would have to cut it shorter than usual which we said was fine. Imagine our shock and horror when we went to pick him up and she had completely shaved him other than his tail which was fluffy. It was so bad we would not have recognized him except for his collar. We were so shocked we were speechless. Totally uncalled for! We will never go back. read more

The issue has been resolved with management. Moofy is ok. I don't want to leave them a low review over the mistake of one groomer because for the most part, we have had great experiences here aside from this really bad one.. they said that Moofy would only be handled by the owner now when he goes in for a cut. Still trying to decide if we will bring him back. read more

My doodle loves this place. She anticipates the fun atmosphere of dogs playing while waiting their turn for wash, dry and cut. Staff is a bit standoffish with humans but loving and caring with dogs. Spendy but worth it. read more

They were so nice, reasonably priced and she looks great. I was hoping for bows in her hair after which we didn't get, but only so I could make fun of her. :) read more

11/10!! Honestly the o oh place I'll ever go to. My dog is a pitty who's very nice but comes off aggressive (tense body, and just barking) I only get his nails tripped here but man they go the extra mile. First off, when Covid hit they made everyone stand outside (still can't really go in) but they quickly noticed my dog was barking kinda scared and scary other dog owners (again he's the sweetest) so they let us come up right before the appointment so we don't gotta wait in line (drop off). Not only that but my Thor shakes and try's to pull his paw away when his nails are getting trimmed and they let me stick by his side, they always sit in the ground with me, give him breaks in between paws and let's him smell the clippers to make him feel as comfortable as possible. They also do this with my mothers dog, she always pee's when she there and they always have a towel ready for her and a spot for my to stay right next to her. I recommend this place, they really take care of your babies! read more

A little disappointed, we took our pup to get groomed for the first time. Really excited to get a clean smelling dog back. When I picked her up from the groomers she was covered in other dog hair. And when she sat in my lap on the way home I noticed she stepped in dog poop in my entire car smell so bad. Honestly not taking her back there. Now going to give her a wash at home to get rid of the bad shampoo smell read more

If I could leave a half or "no star" review I would. After visiting here many times our Persian kitty Ruprecht suffered a major hypoxic event and suffered a stroke, leaving him blind and completely unaware of anything around him. We laid him to rest at only three years of age due to their mishandling and lack of awareness while in their care. I would certainly not deal with them as their "insurance" company was less than helpful as well and since it wasn't on video, they offered us $200 for their culpability in the matter. His care cost us $1500+ before we lost a dear family member too early. Our family suffered the hardship, care, and loss of a kitty that was otherwise healthy until visiting here. How do I get to explain this to my 11 year old daughter? Thanks, Groomingdale, for the suffering and heartache you've caused my family. read more

There were horrible .. couldn't keep the time right foe my apt .. were sll iver the place with rules.. that I verified before I came .. pretty much waste of time .. they can only do one haircut apparently !! #horrible customer service read more

On Tuesday, I took my new (older) dog for his first grooming bath. He does not like water, other dogs, or scary hair dryer sounds! Aaliya (?spelling?) was understanding and patient and Baxter apparently did very well! When we left, he even said "goodbye" to another dogs! These guys are great and we will definitely come on a regular basis. read more

We took our dog there today to get her nails trimmed. She is beyond terrified to do so. The people working there did a great job with her making sure to be as safe as possible while cutting her nails. They also made sure to give her love and praise. Hopefully she can slowly get over her fears by going to places like this one. Thanks! read more

We take our Australian Shepherd here when we simply don't have time or energy to bathe her ourselves. We've always been extremely pleased with the care and grooming that she gets. Her nails are clipped to perfection, her britches tidied up beautifully, and she's nice and clean. Kukui is almost 17 now, and is treated with the utmost kindness. Tory discovered that Kukui had a mammary tumor growing in her armpit, and we were so grateful that she was so observant. We got to the vet right away. Everyone is so nice there, and we're always greeted with a smile. read more

I love this place! They would come out to my truck to trim my dogs nails because she didn't like tile floors. The have a great nail trim, shampoo, teeth brushing deal that includes a bandanna or bow for $19. Highly recommend this shop. read more

I took my two little chihuahuas here for snail trim. The gal who did the trims for both of them was fabulous! I could tell she really cared about my dogs, even though they weren't her own. My two chihuahuas can be very frightened and shaken easily, so I was so relieved to find a place I can trust, and will take them back to many times in the future! Their prices are also very reasonable, it was $8 for a full nail trim, per dog. I'm not sure if it would be more if you have a bigger dog. Overall I was very impressed and will be bringing my chihuahuas here all the time. read more

They're the best! We bring two australian shepherds here who are out on our farm all day and get pretty gross. They always come back looking amazing--way better than all the other places we've taken them to. read more

I took my Mini Aussie Spork in for grooming today. It was his first time here, I just moved and we needed a new place for him to get groomed so I decided to give this place a try. Everyone there was really nice, his groomer informed me that cutting down his type of coat over time could make it grow in coarse or patchy so she suggested that we de-shed and do a hygiene trim. Spork looks great and when I came to pick him up he seemed right at home. The price was really fair too, in my opinion. read more

We have 2 Himilayan cats who we scheduled appointments a week in advance. We dropped them off and were told to place their travel boxes on the counter in a rude way. 2 and a half hours later we received a call that they had brushed the cats out, but the cats "had had it" and I needed to come get them. They offered to reschedule because in a disciplinary way that they were "knotted and needed to be shaved". When we picked them up they were still on the counter in the boxes in the same spot. We took them to the car and looked inside their cases and they looked and felt that they had not even been touched. My major concern is on a humid day these 2 animals might have been left in their boxes for 2 and a half hours with numerous dogs barking in the background. When we got them home they immediately wanted water and hid and fell asleep. This place may be fine for dogs but please do not take your kitties to this business. read more

Love, love ,love this Groomer! My Mini American Shepard is shy and skittish but these professionals made him feel, look and smell amazing without causing the anxiety I was worried about. He was brushed to the point that his fur felt like a bunny's -so soft! He was trimmed perfectly and nails cut without any issue. All at a great price. Groomingdale's was recommended to me for their care and I will continue to pass it along. This business has mine going forward. Thanks team! read more

Today is the first time I'm bringing my dog in. They told me two hours for him when I was making the apt. When I came in they said 3-3.5 hours because how busy they are because of the holiday. I totally understand that. And it's fine.. But now it has need 4.5 hours since I dropped my dog off, and I still haven't gotten a call to come pick him up. I'm so disappointed. I like the price but the timing is not that great. read more

They always do an amazing job with my Pom every time I take him on. You really should check them out.

I live in Boise, Idaho and I frequently travel to the Portland area and always bring my dog Angel with me. The gals at Groomingdales are always so nice in taking care of her and making sure she is clean. They also did not shy away because of her breed so that was a big relief to me. I would send any one I know to them!!! Thank you!!!! read more

My toy poodle has been going there since she was a puppy. She is a drama queen and would rather never go, but with sedatives and the patience of Tori and the other groomers she always comes home looking amazing. Their patience with difficult diva dogs is amazing, I highly recommend them. read more

I took my dog here and an hour after being there I got a call saying she had an accident. When I got there they said she got her tail caught in a kennel and a sharp wire in the kennel cut her and she lost half of her tail and had to have surgery. They paid for the surgery but they were so rude about it and seemed very put out even though it was their fault! I will never take my dog there again. The people were rude and their story didn't add up about how she "got her tail caught". read more

I am a perfectionist when it comes to my pets being groomed. I have gone from groomer to groomer for the past 3 years and have finally found the groomer for me. My 3 dogs (pomeranians) have never had a shinier coat. They cleaned them up REALLY well and brushed them so well I could run my fingers right through their coat. Ladies were SO nice and knowledgable of know Pomeranian problems (luxating patella and such). My girls also didn't seem to be too nervous when I picked them up (usually they are barking BLOODY MURDER). Overall I recommend them to someone who is REALLY picky with grooming (nail clipping, sanitary clips, etc) and who also does not want to pay an arm and a leg! GO Groomindales! read more

I have taken my12 year old lab to many places, but she is the happiest at Groomingdales. You can tell they love animals. When I go to pick her up she's just laying there waiting for me relaxed all ready to go, not stuck in a cage in the back somewhere. Labs are social dogs and love to be around people and where the action is. She looked great and was not stressed out at all. Would totally recommend this place to anyone! read more

I have a jumbo-sized cat with really long hair which makes it difficult for her to groom well--she needed a bath. My neighbors take their dogs there so I asked them if they do cats. They said yes, so I brought her in. I was worried about it for her "fraidy-cat" self. She did just fine and looked wonderful, clean, fluffy and smelled good. We've been back several times. read more

I have a 13 year old female Yorkie who has a dermatitis condition and an eye condition. I used to only take her to a groomer in Sandy but once i was forced to take her somewhere else so i tried Groomingdales in Damascus. I have been going there now ever since! They LOVE the animals! They let the dogs roam freely, providing they get along, they give them attention and it just shows they love what they do. They always do a wonderful job on my baby girl and i couldn't be more pleased! read more
