After taking my dog Lily in for a haircut, who is clearly losing sight in her eyes & cannot hear perfectly, I noticed a huge cut below her left ear. These people didn't even have the decency to mention that to me when I picked her up, I found out after I had already paid & gave them a tip. It was very strange to me that when I picked her up she was very clingy & sat in my lap the entire way home which she has never done. Who knows what else they did to my poor dog when she didn't "listen". DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. Irresponsible, incompetent & careless.

Pawtham truly changed my dogs life furrever…read more Our dog Charlie was not friendly to people who weren't my husband, myself, or my daughter. He was a rescue dog we got years ago that we assumed had no possibility of changing as we had tried multiple times to break this behavior. He was just scared of other people, but because he's so adorable people thought it was okay to pet him. Charlie had a habit of snapping at people when they did this, even when we warned the people not to do it. Fast forward to Pawtham, when we moved to the area my husband and Charlie moved first while I stayed behind for several months to wrap up things at work. So he needed a daycare to take Charlie to so that he wasn't home by himself too much. He found Pawtham online and called the facility to explain Charlie's behavior problems. They offered to try and take care of him even with his unique personality. Over time Charlie actually warmed up to the staff at the facility which made us so happy and trusting to know that they took the time and care he needed. We have not taken Charlie back to Pawtham because of COVID. My husband has been working mostly from home, but Charlie is now forever changed. When we take him to meet new people now we still have to give them warnings that he might snap at them, but somehow his time at Pawtham has allowed him to realize that people are "good" again. Now instead of there being no chance of him warming up to humans, it takes him a day or sometimes just hours and he's okay with being touched by them, which brings our heart so much joy!!!! If you love your dog and want them to have someone you trust care for them, use Pawtham! You won't be disappointed!!!

I was a regular customer (2 years) until they almost blinded my dog! This was in December of 2023…read more I dropped off my dog for her regular groom. I told the groomer that my pup had a cyst removed 14 days ago just over her eye (the vet cleared Marley to get groomed and said it had healed " beautifully") and to "please avoid that area". The groomer did the opposite... i picked up and my poor dog couldn't open her eye. I spoke to the manager and she said that "they must have gotten some soap in her eyes". I was told by the "manager" that an and all vet bills would be covered. After an emergency vet visit and $700 later. My dog had an ulcer Over 3/4 of cornea and the vet said there was "substantial amount of soap in her eye". I call the owner either Tim or Tom and he refused to reimburse me for my vet bills and completely dodged all my Follow up calls. Shitty customer service!! if you value the health of your dog, do not take them here!!

I brought my previous dog to this business for years and was always satisfied with the care and…read moreservice we received. Because of those positive experiences, I felt comfortable bringing my current dog here. Unfortunately, my recent experience with this new groomer was completely different and deeply disappointing. I took my Great Pyrenees in for a routine groom and removal of a few mats. What should have been a simple appointment turned into a painful and distressing experience for both my dog and our family. When my dog came home, it was immediately apparent that something was wrong. His haircut was extremely poor, but that is the least of my concerns. The groomer severely injured his ear, which has since become infected and required veterinary treatment and antibiotics. In addition, whatever was done to his feet left him in obvious pain and very anxious requiring medication for anxiety. For days afterward, he would yelp and pull away whenever anyone touched his paws, and he was unable to enjoy his normal walks because of the discomfort and even had difficulty standing long enough to eat. A professional groomer should never send a dog home injured. Accidents can happen, but the extent of these injuries is completely unacceptable. Watching my dog suffer from something that was entirely preventable has been heartbreaking. I am sharing this experience to warn other pet owners. If this review prevents even one family from going through what we have experienced, then it is worth writing.

Wow! Is the best way to describe my experience with John, the Pack Leader for the Mobile Grooming…read moreService I experienced. I have been looking for a reliable dog groomer since I returned to Forney. My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I will work hard to ensure it is cheaper than this one by following up on John's grooming advice.
