I have visited this location twice and will comment more specifically on my second and most recent visit. I booked my appointment online thru zocdoc. This feature made it very easy to book an appointment that worked with my schedule and fill out necessary paperwork BEFORE the visit. Parking lot is right in front of the building with lots of available spots. I walk in to 2 ladies at the front desk. Neither one were quick to acknowledge nor greet me, as I stood there for a few uncomfortable seconds trying to figure out how to check in. I signed my name on the clipboard and was FINALLY greeted as I turned around to sit down. The woman asked for my name, and got what I assumed was my folder. I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do. She looked up, replied with a quick "No", and looked back down. I went and sat down. The waiting room has about 15 chairs, a table with stacks and stacks of magazines, and a tv airing the ACCENT HEALTH channel. There is absolutely no decor or welcoming feeling in the waiting room. Waited about 25 mins before I was called. A woman (who never introduced herself) asked me how I was and weighed me at the scaled. She then asked me to follow her to the exam room, where she took my blood pressure, heart rate, and temperture. I liked how she announced the numbers as she took my vitals. She asked me a couple more questions and said the doctor would be with me shortly before leaving abruptly. Waiting 15 minutes before doctor arrived. He was nice, but seemed rushed. Reviewed my vitals and data quickly. He then called in a woman to supervise the exam. He examed me, asked me to leave some blood and urine samples on the way out, and left. All in all: -The staff and doctor were efficient, but it felt sterile, rushed, and a bit too casual (nurses and staff wore jeans and had cell phones sticking out of their back pockets). -Environment was clean, but not warm and inviting. -For purposes of continunity of care, I will continue to use Dr. T as my primary physician.

Don't go if you have CHAMPVA Insurance!!! I made my original appointment September 29th for…read moreTuesday, October 7th 4PM. When I arrived on Tuesday, I was told that I would need to call CHAMPVA to verify my insurance due to the two hour long hold time they had. As it was already 4PM I was told to reschedule my appointment for the following Tuesday at 1PM and wait for the VA to call back with a "reference number" that would be used at the next appointment to verify that I had coverage. It took 3 hours for the VA to call back. When they did call back at 7:30 PM, I got the reference number and came back today for my appointment. When I arrived, the same receptionist told me that I would need to call the VA again to find out my co-pay now. I reminded her that last week she told me all I needed was a reference number and they would use that to verify my insurance. She acted like she didn't remember telling me that and stated that I would need to reschedule my appointment until their team could get a hold of the VA. I'm upset because this should've been verified this morning knowing how long it can take on the phone with the VA. It seems to me that this receptionist just doesn't want to do her job and would rather take people with insurance that's a little easier to deal with.

A doctor who is passionate, cares about her patients and on time. So we made an appointment and as a new patient there was a 2 month waiting list, which was fine no rush and this office is supposed to be exceptional so why not wait! As we arrived we were greeted by a not so friendly receptionist who was quite rude, we were asked multiple times who referred us and were proud to tell them we found this office online and chose it due to the overwhelming flow of great reviews. Well as Dr.Sharma came in to introduce herself she went on to ask the golden question of the office, who referred you? We told her we found the office online and she then explains well I work primarily with the elderly as an advocate for their health and I will do my best to work with you but you are young and healthy. I don't understand, why you would say that to a patient and why do you not understand we waited TWO MONTHS to see you and your telling us you might not be able to see him as a patient but you will try? Are you serious? Maybe you should have addressed this with the office to not schedule you a new patient that is younger than you prefer to see.. On top of this his appointment was very short and accomplished almost nothing then we were told he needed to come back for a physical in another 2 months!! No thank you, how is this place even running? What happens if someone is sick, do they need to wait two months too?? I would definitely not recommend this doctors office!

Not only did Dr.Syed's office staff not call in my prescriptions in a timely manner if at all, they also charged my insurance company $500 for a routine office visit. They only took my height, weight, blood pressure and I spoke with the doctor for about 10 minutes during my visit. As I was leaving the office, I asked if there was anything else needed and their answer was no. My old doctor knew I always came in for mainly diet shots and would only charged me for the diet shots. When I initially set up the appointment for Dr. Syed, she nor her office staff ever informed me that I would be charged $500 for a routine office visit. It wasn't until 2 days after my visit when they called me asking for partial payment. When I disputed the charge, they left me on hold for about 40 minutes then hung up on me. After seeing the overcharge for the routine office visit, I decided that I am never returning to this office or doctor again. This office overcharged me and never gave full disclosure of their fees when setting up the appointment. The office has torn and broken furniture and I would never recommend anyone to this office. I feel as though the charges submitted to the insurance company need to be questioned. I plan on contacting my insurance company about my experience with this office visit and be justified. Please review your charges on your billing from this office.
