Not only did Dr.Syed's office staff not call in my prescriptions in a timely manner if at all, they also charged my insurance company $500 for a routine office visit. They only took my height, weight, blood pressure and I spoke with the doctor for about 10 minutes during my visit. As I was leaving the office, I asked if there was anything else needed and their answer was no. My old doctor knew I always came in for mainly diet shots and would only charged me for the diet shots. When I initially set up the appointment for Dr. Syed, she nor her office staff ever informed me that I would be charged $500 for a routine office visit. It wasn't until 2 days after my visit when they called me asking for partial payment. When I disputed the charge, they left me on hold for about 40 minutes then hung up on me. After seeing the overcharge for the routine office visit, I decided that I am never returning to this office or doctor again. This office overcharged me and never gave full disclosure of their fees when setting up the appointment. The office has torn and broken furniture and I would never recommend anyone to this office. I feel as though the charges submitted to the insurance company need to be questioned. I plan on contacting my insurance company about my experience with this office visit and be justified. Sadly, somehow a corporation took over and the information provided here is seriously incorrect. Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. The docs ... not so much. West now thinks he's a weight loss guru and Sharpe pays no attention to anything. Ms. Bertram is nice, but their former FNP Mr. Pettay was much better. Ms. Bertram always seems to be distracted and in a hurry - I once came to see her with a very simple/common 'lady issue' and she refused to treat me, even after I told her the reason I came to her was because I couldn't get a GYN appointment for another week. She still refused. It's funny ... as a nurse myself, I'd never worked with a doc/NP in any practice that would refuse to treat something so simple ... and then make me pay for the visit.
