The nurse I saw (Elizabeth) was great. Pain became debilitating day after visit. Called, several times, trying to get a callback, leave a voicemail etc all of which were refused by whomever would answer. In addition on 9/27/2023 I get a txt to pay a bill. Should of owed $40 for an injection. Instead they chose to bill AGAIN for the visit, and the injection. The bill was received 9/27/2023 and is DUE the same day, leaving no time to get a correct bill. Called and attempted to get it resolved, and after being told it was fixed and i could now pay the $40 balance, I'm still being billed for the visit and injection. It's a shame the nurse I saw isn't at a reputable clinic since she was good and actually listen to me.

However the customer experience was great. Clean office, charismatic and friendly people. I went in for lingering congestion and a cough after a cold I had about a week and a half ago. They think it's bronchitis. They gave me a steroid shot, and a prescription for a plethora of antibiotics and steroids for the next week, along with an albuterol inhaler for the wheezing. They were much kinder, efficient, and thorough than any FL urgent care I've been to. In FL, there's sometimes a cheaper $100-ish cost to get into the clinic, and then an additional bill sent to your home weeks later. This clinic assured me that the $210 I paid upfront will be the only bill I have to pay, aside from the prescriptions from Publix. That was a huge relief, also.

We live 2.5 hour's away and when I came a week before my surgery for pre-op It looks like a nice hospital. My experience started off with registration then the surgery department where I met with an anesthesiologist, they were all very kind with positive attitudes I was impressed and it made the drive worth it if everybody here gave that kind of treatment. Surgery day arrives had to be there at 5:30am so we stayed in a hotel the night before. Again. registration, pre-op and anesthesia were all friendly, knowledgeable and I was put as ease that my post op pain would be managed as my last fusions they let the pain get out of control. Surgery went as expected, PACU (from what I remember) was great then I got moved to the surgery floor thats where the 3 stars come in I have been a nurse for 21 years I never tell anyone that I am a nurse unless i am asked. i understand being busy, short staffed and demanding patients and l try my best to not bug them unless i have to. The day shift crew was great. Then second shift came in started off nice for the first hour then the bad attitude started and did not stop for the whole 12 hours. I had to use the call light to ask for my PRN pain medication I know they just don't give it unless it asked for. So that's what I did to make sure my pain was under control. My pain was just getting under control and the nurse stated there is no need to ask for the first dose that she will bring on time and then I need to start asking if I need the medicine. I waited a hour and a half because I am sure she just got buy with another patient and I didn't want to be on the call light and bother her. Now I am in tears I am in so much pain so I finally pushed the call light and that's when the attitude started for the whole shift. I had alarms on my phone to remind me when it's time for meds and push the call light to make sure I did not get out of control pain that keeps me in the hospita longe. The supervisor nurse that was at the desk was always so rude saying you just had medicine your nurse was just in there and I told her well she wrote in the whiteboard in my room that I can have it then of course my nurse comes in with attitude. i will give the night shift nurse credit she did give me my pain meds attitude and all through the night and kept my pain as controlled as possible. The rooms look nice the beds are old and very uncomfortable very cheap normal patient hospital items like it looks like a 16oz styrofoam cup the tissues are so thin and course I have never seen tissues like that. No disposable wet wipes to help freshen up after surgery. I do not recommend Piedmont Eastside for the surgical floor.

The vast majority of cat bites get infected (because of enzymes and bacteria most cats have), so it's standard protocol to take antibiotics. My "appointment" was set up for 11:30 AM on Sunday. I get all the way there, only for them to tell me once I arrive that they are suddenly closing early because of the snow. The snow that everyone knew about for several days ahead of time. CVS is open. Walgreens is open. Applebee's is open. But the Urgent Care needs to close so suddenly that they can't see a pre-scheduled 20-minute appointment that is: (a) medically important, and (b) should not require going to a hospital in the middle of a pandemic. What's more, I stayed in the parking lot for several more minutes, trying to figure out next steps. Nobody left. None of the cars parked at this place moved. Unfortunately, I'll be back because this is the closest urgent care covered by my insurance. Hence this review. Whoever is running this place is a terrible decision-maker and needs to do better.

The receptionist said they would call me if there was a balance after filing insurance. Several weeks later I was charged $257 without any notification. Secondly, the nurse practitioner is completely incompetent. She prescribed my daughter ear drops that after insurance costs approximately $300 and would not be available for 2 days. I had to return to the office to ask for another medication as the NP would not answer the pharmacist call. She then called in another random prescription that was not in stock. The pharmacist had to call the clinic once again in an attempt to inform her of the most commonly and in stock medication used for swimmers ear to which she finally prescribed.
