A rustic restaurant right on a river. The menu had a lot of choices. It also serve breakfast which we did not try. The wraps were very good very reasonable prices. It took a half hour to get our food after we ordered and we were one of two tables of two in the restaurant. I ordered a Greek salad, it didn't have any Greek olives, and was only served with Tzatziki sauce, not any Greek salad dressing. Oh my goodness we're do I start. My sister, mom, and grandparents all went together one day. Waitress took forever to get their and when we got our waters, I was greeted with a long white hair coming from the bottom of my drink. (It wasn't one of ours, my grandma has short hair) we politely asked for a new water and then we ordered. I asked for a burger with a onion barbecue sauce in it. (I don't remember what it's called) my grandpa got a cheeseburger. I was about halfway done with the burger before feeling sick. Their was WAY to much sauce and I didn't even taste anything else. My grandpa found another long hair INSIDE the patty! Ew! He slip it aside and didn't eat. My grandma asked if the chefs had hair bonnets, and the waitress was like: " uh, yeah, they are wearing hairs..." I got curious and walked to the bathroom (which was next to the kitchen) and looked into the kitchen. The chefs were wearing tiny caps! Most of their hair was exposed. Service was good, food was tasty, I had french toast,eggs, bacon, and canned corned beef. No problem with that. The problem I had was getting the taste of the smell of that place out of my mouth while I ate. It was a nice little place, definitely old, definitely could be better than it is, but the first thing they have to do is get rid of that old supper club smell. If you could go in and get past that smell, put some Vicks in your nose, wear a mask, that's a popular thing nowadays, you could have a good meal. read more

I've been enjoying this place since it was Berlin Family Restaurant. Back then, it was great food. Breakfast was top notch (the cooks can actually make over-well eggs!), and their other offerings were impressive as well (Greek chicken on the brunch menu!!) Since the remodel/change, things only got better. The wings are great. The steaks are made great. There's NEVER a shortage of delicious specials. Ajshe and crew never disappoint! Even their pizza is on point! "Family Restaurant" vibe, but with SO much more. My only bitch is there's not an Izzy's in my hometown, but my gut would only suffer. I'd visit at least twice a week! This restaurant offers an extensive menu of options for a great lunch. Our senior choir of 28 had lunch there while we were on a concert tour of the Green Lake area. The food was very good, and the service staff was congenial and accommodating. The burgers were especially good, and the atmosphere was casual, making for an exceptional lunch experience. When I moved here in 2016, the food was rather good. The service was good, we really enjoyed the place. Over the past two years the quality of food has really gone down the drain. The air-conditioning was not working in the main eating area so we went to the pub in back. We waited some time without getting waited on so went to the bar to ask and was told, even though it wasn't that busy, that "somebody will get to you sometime." The waitress finally came with the menus and took our drink order. Our table hadn't been cleaned so I ask her to wipe up the crumbs and liquid but had to ask twice to get it done. I saw broken glass on the floor and mentioned it and it never got cleaned up while we were there. When our order came we had to go to the bar and ask for silverware and was told where we could go get it ourselves. My order was a little messed up - mashed potatoes instead of fries.
