She also didn't have Soft Scrub - only Comet which is a little harsh on surfaces (in my opinion). Given the above, she did an AMAZING job in doing my move-in cleaning. She did a fantastic job on the sticky shelves and drawers that the previous owner's shelf 'stuff' had left. She did all the baseboards and windows. She cleaned the fridge and bathroom and really - everything was just wonderful. She gave me a spread of cost, we agreed on the lower and I ended up giving her the higher amount because she did such a good job. I just found this review in my drafts! So sorry Claudia!

I canceled at 8:07, not 8:01 as claimed by the business owner. Afterwards, was informed that there was a scheduling conflict and they were running late. I hope this situation was a good learning experience for them. Arrive when you say you are going to arrive and be communicative with your customers. After reading the unfortunate response from ownership, their unprofessional behavior and refusal to accept responsibility for mistakes forces me to advise against hiring this company for your home cleaning needs.

While our schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of that, Andrew, the owner, personally reached out to make things right. One thing I noted from the beginning is how communicative this company is, and their follow-through has only reinforced that. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their work. If you're looking for a company that communicates well, follows through, and genuinely cares about making things right when expectations aren't met, I would absolutely recommend giving La Clean House a try.

They are very thorough, are responsive to any areas I mention, and leave nice little touches Such as the folded towels, etc. English isn't a first language, but we get by with translation apps if needed. A few months ago I hired another service to do a deep clean with the intent of making it a more regular thing if I liked the work. But they were dismal! I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. The products they used smelled so strong and lingered for days, giving me a headache for a week afterwards. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power! She was extremely thorough and meticulous, cleaning things and areas I hadn't even expected her to. She even got stains off my oven that I had long given up on. She was very sweet and professional as well. The products she used did not smell bad and the scent was mostly gone by the end of the day. This will definitely be my go-to from now on when I need a little extra help.
