But I decided to give it a go & Jeremy (I'm pretty sure that was his name) worked diligently for 4 hours to try to get it as clean as he could. He did an amazing job! It looked SO much better once he was finished. Of course, they were right. My couch isn't bleach white anymore. But they were able to get many stains out & make it look so much more presentable. I'm thankful for the honesty & effort put into cleaning our beautiful couch. I will be using Smith Bro's in the future. Our couch is a large sectional & they charged $275 to have it cleaned & an additional $150 for the scotch guard product they use (only it's better than scotch guard). Issues I had with the quality of my "deep" cleaning: 1. Did not mop the hardwood floor of the entire 2nd story and didnt clean the hardwood stairs at all. 2. Completely missed my guest room (all they did was vacuum the hardwood floor). My desk still had dust on it 3. Didn't clean the windows of the 2nd story and neglected all blinds and window sills 4. The small room where my washer/dryer was there was a lot of dust and lint near the vent. Saw them vacuuming there so thought they took care of it but go back in there after they left and it was still absolutely covered in dust/lint 5. none of the ceiling fans were cleaned and still covered in dust 6. Originally purchased a groupon for 1.5 hours 2 people for $100. It was a while ago since our house was professionally deep-cleaned and we didn't realize it had been so dirty until after they left! First they were very on time. I was told they'd come at 1pm first but I asked for 1:30pm and the scheduling lady said ok but for some reason they still showed up at 1pm. It's OK we're still home anyway just haven't finished our lunch. Grace and her partner loaded their gear in 10 mins, then off they went to clean the bathrooms. After the small bathroom was done, grace moved on to the kitchen. Her partner did such a good job in my bathroom. She bleached the heck out of the 2 year old bathtub stain! And I really appreciated that she asked if she could use bleach first before she proceeded. She also wiped down everything including the baseboard and light fixtures, tidied up my toiletries and even straightened out the towels and the TP in a triangle like a hotel! Grace also did an amazing job with the other bathroom. She also cleaned every surface in the kitchen, inside the microwave, swept the floor even underneath the couch and the edge right below the area rug, mopped the floor and now it feels so nice on our bare feet..... The room in question was my man cave and to be perfectly honest, it was the only room that I cared about. That's the room that my dogs and myself relax in. We had to clean the room ourselves. Using Molly Maid was definitely not the cheapest ($965), but I expected that the whole home would be deep cleaned. The maid office even sent me a text that the job would take 1-1.5 hrs. more than anticipated and if I would approve the extra labor, Which I did because we wanted the whole home cleaned and cleaned properly. When I contacted Molly Maid I felt like they were dismissing my concern. The rep at Molly said my wife had told them not to worry about the back room and that it was fine. My wife stated that they really didn't speak to her due to the language barrier and that the room in question was never mentioned and that when they asked how the house looked they had already packed up their cleaning supplies and were on their way out the door. At no time did my wife say to not clean my man cave. They offered me a 50$ discount for an INCOMPLETE job. I hired them because we did not want to do this ourselves and ended up having to do part of the job ourselves.
