Love Laura and her team - I used her a couple years ago for my tiny apartment and was happy she was still around for when I moved back to San Diego. She's super sweet and very detail oriented. All of my items were very respected and cleaned under and around. My place felt so great when I came back to it. Also a very fair price. Will be having her back soon to clean my place again. read more

We couldn't be happier with Ellie Maid and the amazing owner, Laura! We hired them for our home in San Marcos, and they exceeded every expectation. They're hardworking, prompt, and incredibly thorough. Their pricing is very competitive as well, and the quality of their work is unmatched. We trust Ellie Maid more than any other cleaning service in all of San Diego, and their consistency speaks for itself. Laura and her team are the best! read more

I hired them to clean my house twice. The first time I made a goof and they had no problems adjusting to my mistake. When I went on Yelp requesting quotes, I selected "move in / move out" cleaning because I was selling my house and moving out. However, the first cleaning was to present my house for an open house and all my stuff was still there. They did a wonderful job, my house never looked better. The second time I actually had all my stuff moved out so it was just as expected. They did a great job cleaning all the appliances, Walls, windows, and floors. One of the reasons I picked them over the other quotes was they gave a flat rate while others gave an hourly quote. I may have paid less with the others, but I prefer to know the total amount up front. Every time I reached out to them, they were very responsive and super friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service read more

They are the best! Amazing quality great service always professional and thorough, I have shared their info many times.

Quick to respond, very competitive pricing. Arranged a date and time with only a few days notice, to clean my rental. My previous tenants left it quite dirty. They showed up early with a team of 3. They brought their own cleaning supplies and did an excellent job. Will use again. read more

Laura and her team from Ellie Maid were fantastic!! Excellent communication and very friendly, I felt comfortable having them in our home. They truly went above and beyond cleaning, even staying longer than she had originally planned to get the job done. Very thorough with attention to detail. She is also very competitively priced which is definitely appreciated. I am a very happy customer, Thank you for all your hard work Ellie Maid! read more

I would highly recommend this company for your cleaning service. They are reasonably priced and they worked longer and harder than I requested. The house is spotless. They communicate well and confirm ahead of time. read more

Laura and her team are great. They spent the day doing a deep cleaning at my home in Carlsbad. After walking through and quoting a fair price, my expectations were set for three people to take approximately 3-4 hours. After 4 hours I saw a fourth cleaner come in and the worked hard for even longer then the quote. I was really impressed, they did a fantastic job and did it with smiles. I made sure to compensate them a bit better because I knew she under quoted a bit. It's hard to set expectations and exceed them like this. I think my home is cleaner than most, but it really looks fantastic! I'll be having them out monthly from here out BECAUSE of the customer service. Thank you Laura! read more

I booked a move-out clean with Ellie Maid. Laura was on time and easy to communicate with. The home was quite dirty and is very clean now. They even got some things I wasn't able to get myself while living there, like some stubborn tarnish on a faucet. They stuck to their initial quoted cost and completed it close to the estimated time. I'll be booking cleaning at my new place occasionally with them. Thank you! read more

The place was cleaner than the day I moved in! I was very impressed with the attention to detail , they did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. I will definitely be reaching out for future cleanings and have already recommended them to others ! Thank you again Laura and team. :) read more

Booked Ellie Maid for a move in clean. Laura is very prompt to respond through the yelp quote request and messaging back and forth. She was very accommodating to our needs as we already had some furniture and boxes moved in. The cleaning was very thorough as there was a lot of dirt/grime on our window sills and baseboards. She was prompt and professional. Would definitely call her again for a cleaning. read more

Ellie Maid did a fantastic job of cleaning our home. I needed help quickly and Laura was extremely responsive and came out in 2 days. I have specific instructions, and the job was done perfectly. I needed a deep cleaning of our house for a party we were throwing , as it hadn't been done for a while. Laura responded quickly and was able to come on the day requested. The 2 workers that came were very good. It probably took them longer than what was expected, but they did a great job. They brought all of their own supplies and were very thorough, cleaning all the nooks and crevices. I would definitely use their services again. read more

Did a quick search and she was quick to reply and did an amazing job. Will be booking her again :)

I found Laura and her business Ellie Maid on Yelp and needed a move out clean in a short notice for a client of mine. Laura was quick to respond and gave a fair quote. She and her team showed up promptly (early!) ready to go. It was a very large home and a lot of parts to it. They did a great job and she communicated when they were finished. I would not hesitate to call them again. Thank you so much! read more

I needed house cleaning on the first floor + bathroom. Ellie maid did a great job in making sure everything was cleaned and spotless. Kitchen was miraculously clean and the floors were like new. Horrible service. I provided them with pictures and hope they can give me a quote. They quoted me $130 for a small studio. They arrived and claimed that they can't clean the place because it was dirtier than they thought so they up the price to $180. And told me the stains won't come off because they are not capable of cleaning it. And expected me to still pay them the increased price. Are you serious? I told them if they can't get the stains off they I will just deduct a small amount from $180. And guess what? They just left and said they didn't want to do the job. And when I already told them I needed them to leave the door unlocked they still locked the door. Wasted my time and now I am moved out and I am not able to find another cleaning service. Their communication sucks but cleaning skills and reliability is what they should really work on. For people who are trying to find cleaning service. Look somewhere else, this is not what you deserve for your money. read more

We really like Laura! I reached out because I was falling behind in household cleaning and needed some help. She is flexible in working with our needs for house cleaning and schedule. She is very professional and does high quality work. And during COVID I've always felt safe with her coming to clean. She always wears a mask and gloves and socially distances around the house. Highly recommend! read more

one a scale of 1-10, I give her a two only because I have never seen a one! after having to follow her around asking to do this or that, simple dusting, I found the blinds not done, I specifically asked her to do them! And then the excuses began....paint peeling on railings, yes but dirt washed off! I offered her the chance to come back and clean the blinds, this was a birthday gift for my wife, she wanted to charge me more. Kept telling me she was late for her next appt. I also told her to give me back $100 for job not done, she said no. I asked many questions prior to hiring her, I would avoid her totally, cannot be trusted and lies. Bait and switch, we'll see how the labor board feels about her license. I paid $250 cash as agreed, I was ripped off. Three people in 4 hours should clean the dirtiest home! 12 hours of work, for what? At least she could have done as we agreed. Also both bathrooms shower doors left off rails, trash not emptied. Yeah she talks sweet, but has no morals at all. Guess my I'm doing tonight....starts with a b-l-i-n-d-s! Thanks for nothing Laura...never again! Or maybe she is the one I have never seen! after careful conversation, she agreed to refund me $100, I stand by my above, but want to commend her on her character. read more

Laura is amazing!!!! Not only was she easy to schedule with and incredibly responsive, she did SUCH a great job with the cleaning. I had her clean a kitchen and two bathrooms in a place I just moved into that were pretty dirty, and she did a fantastic job. She's super friendly and took covid precautions by wearing her mask the whole time. Can't wait to have her come back and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is meticulous! read more

They did a great job and were very thorough. They were friendly, and showed up right on time so I was able to get to work on time. I don't think you could find a spot of dust in our home. I thought they might miss a few things, like the mirror behind my bedroom door, but nope! They even fluffed all the couch cushions (not an easy task with our couch) and you can tell they care about their craft. read more
