I was understanding and nice about it, realizing things happen and mistakes are made. I still gave shop a good review. They put in writing via email that they'd make it right and replace motor. I was relieved and didn't give things much more thought after that. Before new, 2nd replacement motor came in they even mentioned on phone and apologized for forgetting to charge me sales tax of $500.00. I told them I'd stop by and pay it when in the area again which I did. After that, same Maine non OEM repair shop later denied me service requiring me to take my RZR to a Polaris dealer which set me back over $700.00. The shop obviously found out after promising me a motor that Rev 6 wouldn't comp them for labor on second engine install so I got the shaft and the bill. Yesterday, my second Rev 6 motor came apart from no oil at only 1300 miles. Easy, mid 50's non mud, rail bed riding. My adult friend was riding it with his young daughter and I had to tow him back to camp. Awful day. I called Rev 6 and the rep said, "well you did get 1300 miles". The first Rev 6 engine stopped starting at 800 or so miles and second Rev 6 engine died at 500. 1300 miles total on 2 bad Rev 6 Motors. I almost didn't know what to say when he said that. He then just hung up on me. I was very surprised too by how I was always adding oil to my second newly rebuilt motor. I even paid the extra $600.00 for the added 20 HP. Today they emailed saying "we regret to inform that you are past the warranty period." That is correct but the motor was bad day one, blew oil and in principle should be replaced out of good faith. This machine was my back up and got used very little after the SECOND Rev 6 motor was installed. It was a total nightmare getting two motors installed and now with nothing to show for it. Owning my own business, I would never do this to a customer even if it cost me money. My good reputation means more to me. This company cost me thou$and$ when I could have put that hard earned money toward a new machine or real OEM motor from a Polaris dealer that would have gone to bat for me. Really disappointed with Rev 6. Two badly rebuilt motors sent to me and no recourse unless I pursue legal. Hold onto your money and just put it towards another ATV with a real warranty. He not only handles all the maintenance on my bike, but he was also quick to make suggestions for further customizations I could make to make the bike even more rad. In addition to being completely knowledgeable when it comes to cars and bikes, they also provide excellent customer service. They're easy to get ahold of, and try to knock jobs out as quickly as possible. If you have a motorcycle that you love, I highly recommend taking it to these guys for your basic maintenance and any other custom work you might want done.

I brought in a '99 HD Super Glide Sport to have some maintenance done, as well as many wear and tear parts replaced. This bike was fast, super fun to ride, and was passed down by my dad to me. He was the original owner. To make a long story short, the bike I brought in was a sports car, and what I got back was a Toyota Prius. I spent over $2,000, mostly in labor, to have them replace worn parts and do the overall maintenance on my bike. I was patient as they spent several MONTHS trying to get it to "run right" by messing around with the carburetor. I finally got the call on August 15, 2024, that it's ready to roll. I went in and picked it up on August 22. Let me tell you, it was the most disappointing ride home of my life. I almost wanted to turn around and go right back to the shop because of how underpowered my bike had become. It felt like I was riding a moped. Every single gear has been completely botched. The bike has absolutely no power. I'm not confident that I could even take the bike on the freeway; that's how bad it performs. Naturally, I called back the very next day (8/23) and explained my frustrations about how the bike I brought in is worse than the bike I got back. I was told that if I brought it back, I'd have to pay another $800+ to have even MORE work done on it to try and correct the mistake that this shop made. Even then, they couldn't guarantee that it would be fixed. Is this truly how you do business in 2024? If so, I would highly recommend staying away from this shop. My bike was there for far too long, and for what? To run like a gas-powered scooter? Absolute insanity. At least own up to your mistake and get my bike right (however long that takes) without making me pay for it. If I had known that my bike would have ended up like this, I would have never brought it by in the first place. Additionally, I've noticed that this business only responds to positive reviews and ignores the negative ones. This is very telling of how they handle customer complaints and issues.
