My sister was trying the ramen dog and mozzarella/hot dog. I didn't enjoy the line up in the cold, my toes were super frozen. The service is average; they rush you to make your choice. After receiving the corn dogs; you hope to find a warm place to try them. We went inside the metro to eat them. They are delicious, but since it's deep fried, you feel the heaviness of it in your belly. I was happy to try them but the experience to get them and eating them somewhere warm was horrendous.

I went on their second day of being open and for the ramen hot dog and the Gamsung hotdog (mozzarella cheese deep fried with pieces of French fried potatoes on top). Both were delicious but my favourite was definitely the ramen, it was so crunchy. You order on the right hand side of the restaurant and then wait in the line on the left hand side to receive your food (pay attention to your number as they will call it out to let you in the restaurant to pick up). Once you pick up your order you have a choice of 8 sauces. My server put a bit too much so I say less is more when it comes to sauces. They have a menu on the side with their recommendations of sauce to put on which Kogo. You also don't want to overwhelm the Kogo with too much sauce because there's so much to taste already. I put spicy mayo, mayo, and honey mustard on both of my Kogos and it was too much. The sauces were good but it just got too much. If you want to put more than one sauce, ask the server to only put a little. My friend got the volcano with chill sauce and recommends that one. He also got the ramen hot dog with spicy mayo and he said it was a bad pairing, he thought the spicy mayo would've been good on another hot dog. I also got the pineapple juice and it was pretty good! A bit ordinary but good to pair with your meal. Prices are around 4.99-6.99 per Kogo so not cheap but they are loaded so it's worth it. Lines seem long but it goes by quickly.

Between us, we had a regular poutine, hot dogs, a hamburger, and a sriracha poutine. All in all, the food was solidly decent. The poutines were very nice. The hot dogs were what you'd expect, how much can you say about a steamy? The hamburger was messy. Too much condiment, the bun was sliding off the burger, and was difficult to eat cleanly. We got our food right away and everything was hot. They were also SO NICE. Ambience is also very homey: they have a karaoke machine in the corner! (Very Filipino home type of vibes which is fun) Fried chicken is the star of the show here. It's perfectly juicy, crispy on the outside and the seasoning they use is making me salivate as I think of it right now. So good! The spaghetti was alright - I thought it would be like Filipino spaghetti but it's less like that. You can also get it with fries! It's super awesome because they also have buko pandan, and it is NOT TO MISS! Please order it - well worth it! Overall, I think this is one of my new favourite gems in Montreal. The brown paper bag was soaked through with grease. Some might say that's a good thing, but I ordered my bun Dry, which I assumed meant toasted. Imagine my surprise when I peel back the wrapper and it's not just soft, but sodden. Couple that with the incredibly small, soggy, unsalted 1 inch fries, and I cannot say I'm a satisfied customer. The best I can say about the food was that it was edible, which is the lowest bar to clear in these times where a meal out is more a luxury than ever, and it's the only reason I'm not rating this a one. The fact that this experience single-handedly motivated me to make a Yelp account should speak for itself. I hope for all the regulars that this is just an outlier, but I will not be taking the chance again in the future.

This Wendy's is located around other fast food establishments within a few minute walk away including Harvey's (across the street), Burger King (across the street), McDonald's, and the Orange Julip. I'm not a big fan of the Wendy's burgers or the Wendy's fries. What I normally come to Wendy's for is their meat chili and their baked potato which are 2 unique items not found in other fast food restaurants. Their baked potato I will normally have with sour cream and chives and I will normally ask for a pack of spicy chili oil and crackers for my chili. There is also free WiFi in this establishment which isn't complicated to get onto. As fast food restaurants go, I would rank them 4 stars. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that the soda machine is behind the cash which means that if you want a refill before leaving, you need to wait in line at the cash and ask one of the workers for a refill.
