Great selection for less common plants. Health plants, good prices, quality plants and goods…read more Good customer service. There are knowledable staff on site to assist with questions or purchases. Convenient potting media purchase. Pay the register, drive around to the loading zone and they load the bags into your car for you. I love to come here during bareroot season (Jan-March). They carry a huge variety of tree, berries, grapes, and although the plants cost more than your big box store but there is a huge difference in quality. Large selection of roses in late May, early June. It's fun to shop here. Some of the nursery has uneven ground or loose gravel so be mindful. Make sure to subscribe to their email newsletter for monthlh coupons (as well as garden knowledge and recipes).

We've had some of our plants from them in our yard for years, and they flourish! The variety, plus all the other cool garden decor and items you can think of, make this place a fan favorite of mine since I was a little kid (and I'm almost 40). The quality of the plants and the value that comes with them definitely makes the trip work it to come out and see what they have. The staff is super helpful too, we've always had great interactions with them and their knowledge is on point.

This was a very whimsical place. I was expecting the store to be open, as per their schedule, but…read moreit was not, and I felt a bit like in a wild area to be discovered where no one controls who enter the premises (which is good, people are working cutting trees and doing chores and they let you be there taking pictures or just enjoying the nature). I liked this wild component and especially the parrots. They were fun, I was talking more than them and sometimes it was almost impossible to have a conversation with them. I think they understand Spanish better, so we exchange some greetings in my native language;). Lots of greenery but, as others have commented, a bit on the rundown side. There was a food truck which was a nice touch. Parking was easy at the corner, although it is easy to miss. I will go back, is a different kind of nursery I would say.

Instead you have a natural setting consisting of large trees, meandering paths and a few live animals to keep you entertained while you shop for things for your own home or garden. You will find flowers, plants, and other unique gift items. The property is set up to host private events, such as farm style dinners, weddings and other artistic functions. One event I have seen is yoga in the gardens. If you are looking for a beautiful place to explore in NCSD, this is a wonderful place to go. You can even pick up some fresh goat milk on your visit! #FillYourBasket #BuenaCreekGardens #GoatMilk

We have been working with Nathan at Moon Valley Nurseries for about four months now and cannot say…read moreenough good things about him. We came in at the very beginning of landscaping a new build, which meant a blank slate and a lot of questions. Nathan took the time to walk us around the yard, show us what was available, and give us real options instead of just pointing at whatever he wanted to move that day. He was genuinely knowledgeable about the plants, what they would do in our space, and what made sense for the look we were going for. He was also friendly and understanding about our budget and our timeline, which we appreciated. We started with a variety of plants to get the project going, and we have gone back several times since for trees and shrubs. Every visit has been the same experience: good advice, no pressure, and someone who clearly enjoys what he does. Great guy to work with. If you are planning a landscape project, ask for Nathan.

Contacted them on their own website, provided pictures for the design of my extremely small…read morebackyard, and requested a quote at the beginning of the month. FYI - If you want them to have access to what you have submitted online - you have to sign up for the promotional texts, same goes for the emails. I get a text message the same day asking me to buy something. I responded asking about the quote...nothing. I called in asking about the quote since there was no response and the gentleman on the phone was very nice and respectful. He explained that all of the submissions from potential clients go to a call center and just tend to "get lost in the oblivion". (Great. Glad some strange place had all that info I submitted.) He was able to access my name and that was it. Again, when they tell you they need you to give them permissions so that they can access what you submitted in order to help you, know that is incorrect and it's just a marketing technique to capture your information with your own permission. As NONE of the pictures or the request that I submitted were available to him. He apologized and asked me to text him with my request. I did so. I did not hear anything back so I followed up again. The gentleman seemed engaged at the time which was promising, and asked if we had a contractor or if they needed to quote all of it. I informed him we didn't have a contractor. Then the conversation went cold and no response for another day. Then I receive an email that asked me to schedule a consultation and to meet my landscape designer. Seriously? Was this a joke? No quote attached. Nothing. I replied to the email asking if there was supposed to be an attached quote - nothing. Well, I took a screenshot of the email and text it to the guy that hasn't made up his mind to whether or not my backyard is worth a quote, and asked him if it was supposed to be attached. Crickets. I responded later in the afternoon and again, nothing. Looking at the reviews, unfortunately it seems as if a lot is going on with this company at the moment. (Which may be the reason for the lack of interest in assisting?) I probably should have just read some of the more recent reviews. I called the company that is literally down the road from me. Not as convenient as I had anticipated. It's just a quote my guy. Just a quote. Like I said, I provided everything, just needed to know what would be charged to do it. Now to figure out how to revoke the permissions given to them to advertise and hopefully get a quote from another company.
