I looked at a few different clinics but out of all of the clinics I toured, CUFC was the place I felt most comfortable. My doctor, Lauren Bishop, from our first interaction displayed tremendous empathy, consideration, sensitivity, and pragmatism. I knew that I would be able to have a child with the help of doctors and specialists at CUFC. My road to getting enough embryos for a transfer was long and unforgiving. When I suffered set-backs, Dr. Bishop and the care team provided me with the space to grieve while always being ready to reengage. When I decided to do an FET, I went in with very low expectations- the story I told myself was that my egg were "poor quality" and thus I shouldn't hope for one of my embryos to implant in my uterus. Dr. Bishop had faith and encouraged me to lean into the possibility. When I got my beta results, I was delighted; I had already had symptoms of pregnancy so receiving that verification that I was indeed pregnant, really was a sweet treat. I have now graduated from CUFC with my little embryo. We will be transitioning to our OB/midwife now. I will miss the team at CUFC- the effecient check-in's; being in-and-out of morning monitoring in 15 minutes flat; the ability to email my doctor/nurse/care coordinator; the constant flow of useful information about my labs and meds. While I love my midwife/OB's practice, I will deeply miss the care of CUFC.

I had seen two top rated urologists prior to him, and Dr. Nitti was far superior, much more understanding, took the time to listen to me and ultimately helped me get through the months of this infection. I would give him 5 stars, but his office is a huge pain. It took me rounds of emails, phone calls and following up to get test results and paperwork that I needed completed as I was on medical leave at the time. Also, I had appointments where I had to wait over an hour to get in to see the doctor. However, once you get through his office staff, it's totally worth it to see him!

Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu changed my life! I have struggled for over ten years with endometriosis…read morepains that progressively got worse and worse. I finally was diagnosed in August 2018 after my first laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst on my ovary. The doctor who performed my first surgery refused to do anything while in there other than take pictures because my endometriosis was so bad. I found Dr. Seckin through online search and went to see him for the first time in December 2018. When I got to the office I met Dr. Liu who made me so comfortable while explaining all of my symptoms and going over everything with me. She was very knowledgeable and helped me realize some symptoms I was having that I didn't even realize were related to endometriosis. After speaking with Dr. Liu I met with her and Dr. Seckin together and they confirmed everything that I knew was wrong was related to endometriosis and gave me options for moving forward. I decided that I wanted the surgery and to get everything done so I could move past this. We scheduled surgery that same day for January 2019. In January I went to the city the day before my surgery and met with both the doctors again and they made me feel that they were very confident in the surgery. I arrived at the hospital the next day and even though there was a mix up and I had to wait even longer for my surgery, Doctor Seckin and Dr. Liu sat with me, hugged me and held my hand through a panic attack assuring me that everything was going to be fine and they were going to help me. That surgery has made life so much better for me and I have had little pain since then. I met with them once more after my surgery and things were going great. I go back one more time in March 2019 to see them again as my case was abnormal. All in all I am so glad that I found Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu and decided to go to them. All of their staff is very helpful and pleasant. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found them and I know that they were the doctors I was meant to see and they have forever changed my life for the better. I can only hope that more women find doctors as great as Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu because this disease needs the best treatment out there and they truly are the best.

I expected him to be relaxing and having a quiet dinner after a stressful day performing surgeries instead he was still making a follow-up and visiting his patients. I wonder sometimes when he find time to relax and sleep . He gives a lot of himself to his patients and profession. He visited me every day there after except the day when he had a meeting and he sent his substitute. He was constantly making a followup and monitoring my condition. He was always there for all his patients. 3. HSS and Dr. Rozbruch  have proven themselves to be world class in medicine, care and maintenance. They raise the bar in the field of Orthopedics. They keep in constant watch of their patients' needs. Dr. Rozbruch is constantly monitoring what's going on in his watch. One time I had an issue with my payment if it went through or not. Accounting dept. and I were emailing back and forth and in the background Dr. Rozbruch intercepted with an email assuring me that my payment was in safe hands. He is very prompt in responding to emails even after hour if you need his advice, prescription medicine etc. On our 3rd post op exam Dr. Rozbruch accommodated us at the end of his day even after performing many surgeries that day and would catch a flight that night. We were referred to Dr. Daniel Stein by a friend and we could not have been happier with our experience. Dr. Stein and his team showed a great deal of compassion and warmth. It's easy to think that in the field of infertility compassion and warmth should be a given. When you think, however, that this is RMA's everyday it could be easy to lose sight of each family's struggle. Dr. Stein does not lose sight of that struggle, nor does his team. We felt truly cared for even though we were one of hundreds (?) thousands (?) that RMA was treating at the time. In working with Dr. Stein, he explained everything clearly and handled our questions respectfully. Whenever a choice was to be made, Dr. Stein outlined the options and guided us as to which path he thought was best for our case. I can't say enough about how appreciative I am for Dr. Stein's work with us. The rest of the team was wonderful as well. The nurses, physician assistants and counselors were friendly and good-humored, which when you're going through this experience is not something to take for granted. If I could have met the embryologist/s who handled our case, I'd likely give them the biggest hug as I am eternally grateful for the care they gave our baby when she was just a cluster of cells; a cluster of cells that belonged to a nameless, faceless couple and was nonetheless cared for diligently. I think my only hint of disappointment has been with the financial office. While everything else in our journey felt seamless, dealing with the finances felt clunky. They will prescribe wrong dosage of drugs and blame you for it. They will tell you insurance doesn't cover it, make you work with one of their third party payment providers - and then once you've paid tens of thousands of dollars, they'll bill your insurance...and your insurance actually does pay them, leading to double recovery. It's heartbreaking working with them.

Instead, they took the time to go through early testing like bloodwork and semen analysis and actually encouraged us to keep trying naturally. We're so glad we listened, because we were able to naturally conceive our baby boy. Throughout that time, they were incredibly kind, empathetic, and supportive of our concerns. Now that we're trying for a girl, we've decided to go through an IVF cycle (though we haven't transferred an embryo yet), and once again the entire team has made us feel comfortable and cared for. They recommended unnecessary procedures just to make money and their billing department is rude when called out. Dr. Merhi is pleasant and it's unfortunate that he's associated with thievery, unprofessionalism and bad medical practice. Not to mention, I have yet to see a successful fertility story from them... just saying.
