Always a great burger at Griff's. Such a classic smell, love the hamburger meat smell on the grill, great fries, great drinks. Good desserts, still missing that lemon pie :( but apple will do. The pie looks smaller than before but still has that great crispy bubbly skin. Burgers are great, try the taste! Only one side fries, wish they had large for fries. Almost an exclusive Texas chain!

Not sure how I feel about this visit. Wanted a burger so came in and got a mushroom melt. The burger was OK, I asked for crispy fries. The fries were definitely not crispy. They don't put napkins on your tray, and don't put straws on your tray either. Staff is definitely not the friendliest. The restaurant was fairly clean, they were very busy tonight.

I don't even know where to begin. Walking into Griff's felt like stepping into a time warp -- but not in a charming, nostalgic way. More like being trapped in a greasy, fluorescent-lit nightmare. The smell alone should have been my first warning -- a mix of burnt oil, stale fries, and deep regret. I ordered a burger, and what I got looked like it lost a fight with the grill and then was stepped on for good measure. The bun was soggy, the patty was flavorless, and the lettuce looked like it had seen better centuries. As for the service? Imagine being ghosted... by someone standing right in front of you. The staff seemed annoyed we even existed, and after waiting 25 minutes for food that should have taken five, I would've preferred they'd just forgotten about us entirely. Griff's isn't just a bad restaurant. It's an endurance test. Never again.

Onion rings, tater tots, and fries!

Griff's hamburgers are grilled to perfection. Patties are thin which makes it easy to chow down on a double patty burger. Milkshakes are creamy and good. We couldn't decide on fries, tots or onion rings so we got them all! They have a good team behind the register. Service was fast and the staff polite.

    I feel discriminated...

Talking about some "we're busy and our lobby is closed" like there are 3 people inside eating and talking to their hearts content. And don't even get me started on busy. They call 3 cars in the drive thru busy. Shame shame shame. Not to mention it was a white worker and white people inside. I feel discriminated

Been coming to this location since 1988 when this same meal was $1.99 for the burger, fries and a drink. The portions or smaller and the price is 4X what they used to be. The strawberry Shortcake is tiny. Food is good but it's not the value it used to be, even with the high prices of today's food it used to be a bargain compared to others, not anymore. Could be why the place is empty at dinner time.

    Only those tables were open.

Business hours keep changing, a few Friday ago we were here and manager said closing time was 11pm, and today (Friday) she said 10pm. We overheard the manager tell the employees "let's close at 10-10:30". They closed off half of the seating area and even the restrooms, half of the place was dark. They don't have business hours by the door.

I feel griff's has fallen from grace. I took a chance when I surprisingly came across this location when traveling through Haltom City. I have only tried the E. Lancaster location. The food on my last visit was decent, but not what I remember in the early 2000. This location in my opinion is worst! The burger patty was super thin and breaking apart. The entire meal was handed to me in seconds and it was lukewarm. Usually griff's takes a couple of minutes to prepare your food when it's fresh. There was no seasoning on the burger patty and no salt on the fries. I don't think any location will ever live up to what it was in the past. The area surrounding the establishment was clean, customer service was excellent, but it doesn't make up for the food not being good.

My combo was #2 with a cheeseburger

Nice restaurant, food is good service was ok. My hamburger was a little cold and they got my drink order wrong but it was good enough.

It's supposed to be my order of fries

I was craving…read moreIndian food, and saw this spot on Uber Eats and called first - had to make sure it actually existed. LOL! A very nice lady said that they were a small kitchen inside a convenience store and open until 9PM. I ordered a variety of items. Y'all know how I like to try and taste different foods. I ordered the chili vegetarian hand rolled dumplings, a vegetarian khaja set, pani puri (9 pieces), a vegetarian katti roll, and goat fried rice. Admittedly, I had to google the names of most items as I had never heard of them. Uber Eats is "pickup only" in my neck of the woods -- ahhhh, life in the suburbs. Anyway, I arrived at a convenience store/quickie mart named "Cowboy #2." (I kid you not.) Tucked inside is a tiny kitchen where a lady and man prepare the food. The menu is pretty varied for the size of the kitchen. The lady was very nice and explained all the dishes. Y'all, they were delish! You could tell all the food was homemade. The food was already spicy and she also included some homemade spicy sauces. I'll leave pictures of the food - google them to see what they are. The lady chef told me that most of my items are traditional Indian street food. All of it was an amazing flavor bomb. I will definitely return and try out more foods. This is not a dine in spot - but there is a small table with a few stools that you could eat at. There is plenty of parking since it's inside a store and it's very easy to find.

The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and patient with us as we ordered. We ended up with a 1/4 Philly, a cow town burger, a full catfish, 5 hot wings, and the fried pickles. I really liked the burger and Philly but they do lightly dress everything so we ended up adding a little bit more mayo at home. The hot wings were well made with a very vinegar based buffalo hot sauce while the fried pickles were absolutely delicious. They tasted like best maid pickles and I'm a sucker for those! The rand is made in house and was also very well made. The catfish was good but the breading was definitely on the saltier side, paired with tartar sauce it wasn't too bad. All in all we're definitely coming back!

All three of different Bo's restaurants I tried, I found orderes were being held up waiting on chicken from the cook line. Maybe during busy times cooks should be dropping chicken constantly until the rush in over in order to fill orders in a timely manner. You still would be serving fresh hot and crispy chicken due to demand. Imagine how many more customers you could push through the system if you had chicken ready to fill orders. This location did have the best biscuits compared to the other two. The biscuits here were fresh and hot, like they just made them. At the other locations biscuts tasted like they sat under a heat lamp for hours and were very dried out and over cooked. Sweet tea was better at this location as well. It was the right sweetness and a litte stronger. Other two locations the tea was almost clear and barley sweet. This location is the best of the three I tried. I learned to go inside the restaurant to place a order because gas now days is too expensive to idle over 30 minutes in a drive thur. I do like the crispy crunch and hint of heat of the chicken. I'm not a fan of the sides but I haven't tried the mac & cheese yet, rumored to be good. Sweet tea was better here by far, but nothing special about it. HTO and QT have good sweet tea too.
