This local favorite is AMAZING! With tons of menu options that are all very diverse, it's hard to go wrong. The portions are pretty reasonable, and the price isn't too expensive. The wide range of food (sandwiches, wraps, soups, spuds, etc.) ensures happiness of all who go! Plus, they have a deal where kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. I have two staples when I go. The one I ALWAYS pick is the Summer Salad. Very fresh and light, and portioned large enough that you don't leave hungry (I often take some home and make a separate meal out of it). My second is the Combo deal. Last time I chose Potato soup with half of a turkey wrap, but have been known to substitute the soup for a BBQ spud. Delicious! Keep in mind, they don't heat their wraps, they will if you ask them to, but they're still good cold. Also, the wait can sometimes be a little extensive, but definitely worth it! Watch for coupons in local fliers - they are definitely worth taking, often giving you a free drink or half off your order! read more

We loved the place the service was great the food was even better. My husband had the black and blue salad with blue cheese dressing He said it was one of the best salads he has ever had. The food was very good, service fast and prices very reasonable. Will differently come back. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. read more

As a business traveler I always ask my customers, "Where do you eat?" I try to avoid chains whenever possible. A customer pointed me to Griff's and what a great choice! That chicken salad? Crazy good!!! Whenever I drive 65 now and get near BG, I think "do I have time to drive all the way down that street for chicken salad?" Lunch time is so busy and the clientele might want to embrace the custom of sitting wherever there is a seat! I had 2 empty chairs at my table and people were standing all around me. I finally told 2 ladies, "I won't bite you...sit down!" I kept working on my laptop and they had their lunch conversation and nobody died. Griff's...YUM!!! read more

I'm always looking for a good sandwich place. I got a wrap and there was way too much sauce on it. My husband's had no flavor. I love pasta salad, and that too was pretty bland. The potato salad has bacon in it...yuck! Not to mention we waited almost over 20 minutes for our food. For a place that you order from a window and seat yourself that's a long time. We won't be back... read more

Griffs is a very good local restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the facility to clean. The food isn't amazing but it is great food for a deli. They also get highly involved in local charities which is always a plus. If you like supporting local charities then a visit to Griffs is well worth it. read more

Manager Tim and his staff deserve recognition on a job well done! A carryout order for 35 hungry people is no easy task but Griff's nailed it! The food was delicious and completely accurate. This is an awesome spot in Bowling Green for reasonably priced food and great service. read more

I live in Louisville, but am a Bowling Green native. I've been enjoying Griffs since it first opened. I moved to Louisville in 2013 and every time I come back to BG to visit family, I always fit Griffs in our schedule. My two favs is the chipotle chicken panini (+ avocado) and the chicken salad sandwich on white bread. I pretty much eat that combo every time we go. Griffs is probably my favorite place to eat in Bowling Green. read more

This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Mammoth Cave! It's easy to find and prompt service. The menu is really big so there's something for everyone. I got the chicken club wrap with a pasta salad side and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the rajun Cajun which was also delicious! We ended up splitting the other half of each of our wraps with each other! I will definitely go back if I go through Bowling Green again! read more

Best chicken salad I have EVER had! Generous & fresh...what more could you ask for????

This is one of my favorite places in BG to eat. I've tried many things on their menu and I've NEVER received a bad meal. The veggie panini is my usual order and it's delicious. Their desserts, especially the cakes, are yummy as well! The staff is so friendly too. Always have a great experience at Griff's! read more

4 of us ate here on a Sunday, the place was very busy. We are all foodies. Our soups the potato & the broccoli was very salty & cold. One ordered the BBQ spud, it was nothing special. The potato could have been seasoned with olive oil or anything. The Santa Cruz wrap was also a fail. The sundried tomato sauce was sweet with not much flavor, the wrap was tough and chewy. The crackers were fresh, the pickle was good and the chips. read more

Come hungry, especially if you get a spud! They're huge, but very tasty. Sandwiches are great too.

Lots of yummy food. Agree with Michael W. on its a great non-chain in a sea of chains in BG. The boyfriend and I are huge fans. They have lots of loaded spuds (BBQ Spud = yum) and I particularly enjoy the Southerner chicken salad, too. Different desserts, daily. Also, get the frequent flyer card if you're a local. I think its Buy 5 meals get the 6th free. That means my boyfriend and I get a free meal every 3rd time we go! read more

One of my favorites. Can be crazy at lunch time so you might try an evening meal when it's less crowded. The panini's are my favorite. Be sure to check Facebook and Twitter for deals here. read more

I work near Griggs so I often end up there for lunch. I love that grills has several choices. You can either choice a heathly choice such as a salad Or baked loaded steak potato. My favorites are the southern salad and The buffalo chicken spinach wrap. I posted a picture of the buffalo chicken wrap. They have diffrent soups of the day but I never know what day they will have what so that's one reason I gave them a four star rating. read more

Griffs Deli - Griffs famous chicken salad! It's outstanding the homemade dressing and cranberries make the salad - Delis Near Me - Bowling Green, Kentucky

Griff's is a sandwich shop in a location that makes it an ideal lunch stop for many people in Bowling Green. You can even submit your order online, which makes Griff's a convenient option for ordering lunch on a busy workday. I ate here today for the first time and just ordered a big bowl of their Cajun Chicken Soup because the girl behind the counter suggested it. Oh my goodness--good call! The soup was amazing and really hit the spot on a freezing, snowy evening. I should have gone back to thank the girl who suggested the soup! Griff's menu includes all of the typical sandwich shop choices--a variety of salads, paninis, wraps, sandwiches, spuds, and, of course, soups. My girlfriend loves food almost as much as I do, and she absolutely loves the summer salad. So if you're in the mood for an amazing salad--check it out. read more

Stopped here for lunch on the way back from Nashville. My boyfriend had the Greek salad with chicken and I had the summer salad. Both salads were fresh and fantastic. The Greek salad came with an artichoke heart that was not chopped, which he was surprised by. After lunch, we shared a popsicle from their popsicle shop in the same strip mall. Both great finds, highly recommend. read more

The basic ingedients here are fresh and well proportioned ... but they drench everything in sauce. Next time I'll try the Wise Guy sandwich with no vinaigrette and maybe I'll love it instead of like it. To me it was better than a Panera panini. Ditto with the salads (I had the Caesar and my husband had the House). But they definitely don't skimp on the portions. For the combo, the half salads were huge. The half panini was standard-sized, but we were there for dinner so that's OK. I also tried the Italian cake, which was light and not too sweet and included nuts and raisins. Wish they served decaf coffee as well as caffeinated. Overall, my husband liked the place but wasn't crazy about it. I'm interested in trying it again: particularly the Roma cheese sandwich with tomatoes and basil. For two adults for dinner we spent about $20. read more

Tried the Bomber challenge 3 times... 6 lbs of potatoes in 45 min. Got pretty close that last one. Oh well, every attempt was a victory because its Griffs!! And I had lunch for the next few days. read more

Great place for good healthy food. Have a unique menu for a deli with great combination of ingredients. For a town with a ton of chain resturants, check them out u will be glad u did. read more

Nice people, good food in a fairly impersonal shopping mall. We were on the highway, read about this on Yelp and drove through the wretched malls to get here. It was worth it, sampled an excellent and unique soup and a terrific sandwich (grilled hear with avocado and bacon, very tasty). Definitely worth getting off I65 and by passing chain food for this. read more

Great little deli with awesome sandwiches and salads. We were surprised with the size of the salad in the pick two- more than enough.

I was here for dinner a couple days ago visiting a friend and really enjoyed my experience! I ordered the pick two combo and got the Susie Q and baked potato with pulled pork and cheese on it. The Susie Q sandwich was good, not great, but the baked potato was exceptional. read more

Good deli. My chicken salad sandwich looked a little sad, but it had a great flavor. It was busy the day I came (good sign).

Love the buffalo chicken spud! This is a great place for lunch. And you can go next door for homemade ice pops afterwards.

This was my first experience at Griffs. I had heard numerous recommendations about it and finally decided the pull the trigger and try it. I went over the menu several times before finally deciding what I wanted. Everything sounded good so it wasn't an easy decision. I went with the Caesar Chicken Wrap (on honey wheat). Words cannot describe how outstanding this thing was. Each bite was full of flavor. It was so good that I almost ordered a second one just to bring home. I will definitely be returning and trying more of the outstanding menu items. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Bowling Green! My husband and I frequent this establishment on casual date nights! Friendly service, excellent food, and decent prices! You can't beat Griffs Deli! read more

Great paninis and spuds. A little overpriced for what you get. Good environment and yummy food though.

The chicken salad sandwich is awesome. The desserts are also pretty good. I wish there were more homemade side items though - I can get ruffles potato chips anywhere, why would I want them at a restaurant? Would also like to see a better drink selection. Griff's has potential to become a really awesome restaurant since the food is so good but it doesn't seem like they're making the effort. read more

Menu is extensive but there is good variety. I have not had anything I did not like and I have tried several different things on their menu!

At 8:25 pm CST on Jan 6th 2015 I had the work experience ever at Griff's. My son had what is usually great broccoli soup. We had to ask for it to be reheated 3 times. My usually great Panini was cold and all the restaurant staff could think about was leaving to go home. This is not the best practice to keep a local establishment in business. read more

At first I was skeptical of a restaurant that advertised an "amazing baked potato" how good can a potato be? Well the answer is amazing! The potatoes are huge and will defiantly leave you full. Now that I am more carb conscious I get one of their amazing wraps. The tortilla is always fresh and never dry. The meat and vegetable selection is limitless. The owner is usually there when I come in and always makes sure everyone is pleased. There is a lot to be said about a restraunt who's owner is hands on and available for the guests. Their is truly a good meal for any taste bud. Look for the Airstream trailer for an amazing frozen treat as well!!! read more

I like this place a lot. Get to sit outside and eat. Food is always good. Anytime I'm in bowling green, I stop by.

At first glance the menu seems uneventful, and if you order the wrong thing it may not impress. However, this place has some truly unique sandwiches, wraps, and pan inis. Look out for the Grown Up Grilled Cheese menu at the counter too. Excellent deli sliced chicken! read more

I was making my way through bowling green and I had heard of this small sit in deli so thought I'd give it a try. After about 20 mins of standing in line I was finally able to place my order...by the time my sandwich was served to me the meat was completely cold, had onions on it which I had asked them to leave out, and they acted like it was my fault when asking them to please fix the mistake. I also fill that the $7.00 for a grilled cheese is overpriced, not worth it, and you're better off avoiding this place all together. The real icing on the cake is when I was finished with my meal I went to use the men's room, locked the door like always and half through my stream someone enters the restroom! The doors locks didn't even work! This place could def improve..I'll choose anywhere else next time I'm in town. read more

Not thrilled with this place. Ordered a spud, which was barely room temperature. Asked for butter when I saw the "buttery spread" and was told that was all they had. Can't imagine a place that specializes in baked potatoes not serving them hot and not having butter. read more

Gross, my stomach hurts now from eating at Griff's. The food tasted processed, my companion's rueben had wet meat on it. The veggie panini I ordered was gloppy from too much cheese and a chemical-tasting sauce. The potato salad, if you can call it that, contained shredded cheese and bacon--if someone orders a vegetarian sandwich, you should probably mention that the potato salad has bacon in it--especially because it's not stated anywhere on the menu. This place reminds me of a gross version of McAlister's. People seem to be claiming that it's not a chain, but the food sure tastes like gross chain food. read more

Recommended by family and for good reason - sandwiches here are excellent! Prices are reasonable and service is quick. My boys loved their mac and cheese (unsurprising, since it looked like their favorite blue box variety), and my daughter was happy with her grilled cheese. My turkey club had some of the best turkey I've had on a sandwich in a very long time. Nice little place for lunch; I'll have to try their salads or spuds the next time we're in town! read more
