They are always pleasant and good to work with! Hours can be limited in the fall and winter, as expected, but no issues so far.

Customer service here is terrible and had declined 100% in the last few years. I'm only giving this…read more2 stars because of how amazing Steve is and the sales team is. But everything else is just trash. I purchased a brand new boat last summer. I took it got to be winterized and to warranty fix my boat cover that started to tear. I picked it up and the fall afterwards and didn't look too closely. They fixed the button but not the tear. They also left greasy dirty hand prints and dirty foot prints all over my boat that were such a pain to clean up. I didn't notice the tear was till there until I pulled it out of storage. My fault for not looking at it when I picked it up in the fall. I had it brought back to fix the tear. They fixed it but they left my boat outside in the rain. To fix the cover. A bird took a crap on the back seat. They then didn't put one pole in and put another pole so tight they couldn't snap all the buttons and now another button is tearing because of it. I went to clean the bird poop off and it left behind a yellow stain that I have no idea how to get off now. Also when I picked up the bait my 7 by 5 pin adapter is no longer connected to the boat which I always leave connected. They also winterized my waverunner and when they disconnected the negative terminal from the battery they did not put the screw back in so I had to go find a new screw. They do not care about your property. I would not recommend you use them to take care of yours.

I bought a 2006 Mastercraft boat in February 2025, which seemed great at first--new motor, low…read morehours (approx. under 200), and factory ballast tanks. But after storing it at the marina prior to picking up for the first time, I found the trailer's guide poles missing, and while the sales team couldn't help, I replaced them myself. These guide poles are unique to MasterCraft trailers. When I tried towing, the trailer wiring was faulty. I fixed the ground wire and got it working. I launched the boat at my local dock, but on the first outing, the bilge pump started working overtime. I discovered the leak was from a wire running out of the transom. It took nearly four weeks as it was busy season starting the summer to get the boat into service for the local marina to fix it. Once back in the water, I found additional issues of two unsealed seacocks causing leaks, which I fixed with marine sealant. However, water kept accumulating in the bilge, and the battery alarm went off after an hour. The port ballast pump also didn't work. I took the boat back to the local marina, who later found an inboard shaft leak, a bad alternator, and faulty ballast wiring. By this point, I was frustrated--my family had only used the boat three times having to pull it out of water each run, and I'd missed great weather. Culver Portside Marina had assured me the boat was "water-ready," but they admitted it wasn't tested before sale when contacting them on the most current 3 issues being repaired and my experience so far. They offered no help with the repairs, despite me asking for at least 50% of the repair costs. The sale was "as is," per the owner of Culver Portside but these issues should've been addressed before posting sale or disclosed during the sale had it properly been tested Now we have a $1,300 repair estimate immediately after the purchase . I'd recommend anyone buying from Culver Portside ensure a thorough documented inspection and test everything before purchase, especially since it's mid-July, and I'm still waiting for repairs to finish. With school starting soon, it's tough explaining the situation to kids who were once excited upon hearing of the purchase. This was a boat they claimed to have been serviced by them the past few years.

Ok so here's my issue. I have rented here a total of three times over maybe the last 7/8 years. The…read moreprice was ALWAYS $120, plus a $100 refundable deposit and a full tank of gas was included for the day. Always. NEVER changed. The boats are FAIRLY well maintained so $120 is doable and fair, for sure. That being said, I called today (6/14/20) to rent a pontoon for 3-people (one elderly so I requested a ramp - which I will point out they DO have, that's why they get more than one star!) and the rate has DOUBLED! The rate is now $200 with no deposit/refund (which seems beyond asinine in this business to me - with so much liability) and NO gas included. The boat comes to you gassed-up but then you are subsequently billed for the gas you've used. While I understand a lot of businesses, especially like these, have been impacted by Covid...CLM is not restricted per se and doesn't enough boats for there to even potentially be any social distancing issues. Not to mention gas prices are lower this summer than in probably the last 10-years! Three Rivers and the surrounding is NOT the area for prices like these. I live in Chicago (family here) and you can rent a pontooon for a day there for CHEAPER. That's has never been the case until this year. I'm not sure what's going on or the reason for the increase but you've lost my business (I went and bought a kayak for LESS money than a 1-time rental of the pontoon, that I can own and use any time) and that sucks for me too. I enjoyed renting here in the past. This is not the area or the people that are going to spend this kind of money for mediocre boat on a small lake. I hate to think this but with these prices, CLM will not be renting much longer, I assure you. I'm sorry to write this. I grew up on Corey Lake and it's heartbreaking that the marina has felt the need to make it unavailable now due to the literal doubling in price. I'm at a loss and really disappointed in the "business decisions" you've made.

At 4:30, while on the far side of the lake, we could not start the engine. We left multiple messages. No response. It was a hot, sunny day and we were stuck. No call back, nothing. What is even worse, no follow up response except a short email the next morning with a promise to call later. Again, no call. This guy appears to have a few run down boats that he is using for a slip shod rental business. Five stars to the friendly boater who was willing to take us to a few fishing spots and then back to the dock. What would we have done without him and his wife?

On site they have a myriad of services they provide. Among them are: boat ramp, dockside gasoline, winter storage for boats and boat lifts, lift delivery and installation, Nautique dealer, Kawasaki Jet-ski dealer, pontoon boats, dock and boating hardware, skis and wakeboards and their necessary hardware, life jackets, tow-able floats, Clear Lake shirts and hats, the Seaweed Café(snacks and hot dogs, etc. from what I can tell, I've never actually eaten there). My father's been coming to Clear Lake since he was in college, renting, then finally became an owner about 15 years ago. So I've been coming here my entire life. (kinda wish Yelp had a location for the lake itself, I could go on and on). But my dad's had some times he's needed more attention from the Marina (a problem jet-ski), and he got it. The people there know their customers and greet them as friends with first names. Personalized service is a dying art these days, and I'm glad to see that it still matters to the CLM. They don't have high-pressure sales people, just knowledgeable and laid back, casual sales atmosphere. We could have a much worse marina on this lake. Every time I visit CL, I always make it a point to stop by the CLM. It just feels good. And we usually end up buying something. Yesterday, went for a t-shirt, ended up with another jet-ski!
