Ok so here's my issue. I have rented here a total of three times over maybe the last 7/8 years. The price was ALWAYS $120, plus a $100 refundable deposit and a full tank of gas was included for the day. Always. NEVER changed. The boats are FAIRLY well maintained so $120 is doable and fair, for sure. That being said, I called today (6/14/20) to rent a pontoon for 3-people (one elderly so I requested a ramp - which I will point out they DO have, that's why they get more than one star!) and the rate has DOUBLED! The rate is now $200 with no deposit/refund (which seems beyond asinine in this business to me - with so much liability) and NO gas included. The boat comes to you gassed-up but then you are subsequently billed for the gas you've used. While I understand a lot of businesses, especially like these, have been impacted by Covid...CLM is not restricted per se and doesn't enough boats for there to even potentially be any social distancing issues. Not to mention gas prices are lower this summer than in probably the last 10-years! Three Rivers and the surrounding is NOT the area for prices like these. I live in Chicago (family here) and you can rent a pontooon for a day there for CHEAPER. That's has never been the case until this year. I'm not sure what's going on or the reason for the increase but you've lost my business (I went and bought a kayak for LESS money than a 1-time rental of the pontoon, that I can own and use any time) and that sucks for me too. I enjoyed renting here in the past. This is not the area or the people that are going to spend this kind of money for mediocre boat on a small lake. I hate to think this but with these prices, CLM will not be renting much longer, I assure you. I'm sorry to write this. I grew up on Corey Lake and it's heartbreaking that the marina has felt the need to make it unavailable now due to the literal doubling in price. We had 9 people on a pontoon and were told it was the most reliable boat he had. I was also told the boat was available to us from 10 am until 8 pm. At 4:30, while on the far side of the lake, we could not start the engine. We left multiple messages. No response. It was a hot, sunny day and we were stuck. No call back, nothing. What is even worse, no follow up response except a short email the next morning with a promise to call later. Again, no call. This guy appears to have a few run down boats that he is using for a slip shod rental business. Five stars to the friendly boater who was willing to take us to a few fishing spots and then back to the dock. What would we have done without him and his wife? read more

Ted, the owner, is awesome!! They have put so much hard work and effort into restoring this marina. It is a wonderful place to rent a boat from in the summer! Ted is a fantastic owner and is so much fun! He makes you feel welcome and lets you know your business is appreciated. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Great service. The place has everything you could possibly need. Gas and convenience store right on the water so you don't need to stop your day on the lake for forgotten sunscreen or a beer run. The ice cream is delicious. Ted is super friendly and reliable. They offer boat rentals, dock slips, paddle boards and kayaks. They also have boat services available including boat cleanings that'll have your boat looking like new. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat, do not go here. The business owner, Ted, is a shady business owner. He sounds extremely nice and caring on the phone but when you meet him in person, do expect him to pull something shady on you. Ted winterized my boat this season. He quoted me at $195 for the winterization. I told him if anything else needs to be done, quote it before you do anything. Generally to a business owner that cares about their customers, they would respect the customer's wishes. In this case, Ted did not. I got to the shop and my bill was greater thhan $300 because they "topped it off with gas". There was no agreement EVER relating to Ted topping my boat off with his $5/gallon boat gas. I was expecting to pay him the $195 and go on my merry way. When I received the bill, I was livid. Ted knew I was livid because I NEVER told him to proceed with doing that. You don't just proceed with doing something that will cost a customer and extra $150 without their approval. You can tell this guy is hurting for money as evidenced by my story. Three Rivers folks and others that use Corey Lake Marina, I would direct your business to either Pat's Pontoons or Diamond Lake Marina for any boat services. read more

My family rented a boat last summer from here. My mom called ahead of time multiple times to make sure the boat was ready for us since we were coming from out town and driving far. We got there and the boat was all apart and not ready. They gave us another one and it was old and dirty and hardly ran at all. We were trying to ski and we couldn't even get enough speed to ski. Finally it broke down and we were stranded in the middle of the lake. Finally they came to get us and said they would refund our money. We were happy with that. BUT THEN they still charged our card on file for $250 for that broken boat! We called many times and they never returned our calls so we gave up. Don't go here. Bad experience. They lied to us. We have rented from this Marina last year, The prices were reasonable, but small motor.Last year, I bent a prop and paid for it. I have no problem paying for something I damage. This year, we reserved a premium pontoon- 60 hp- $350 appox. The boat was slow and could barely pick up enough speed for tubing- though great for beginners and young children. We did have a great time on this beautiful lake. When I checked my credit card, I had an additional $248 charge. I finally received a call back and found that they said we damaged the boat. We didn't damage the boat. Why they never called me before they charged my card is baffling. I wish I would have had the chance to look at the boat to see what damage they "say" was there. The boat was returned in the condition we received it. They need to have a better check in and check out system. Future Renters- Look over prop area and boat before using the boat and again after- Take pictures to protect yourself. Check your Credit Card statements for additional fees. read more

If you need to rent a pontoon boat or speedboat for a day, week or more this is the place to go! This place even delivers your rental to the lake of your choice! There are brand new pontoons or older styles that are for rent. I was told clearly that if I wanted to pull a tube I had to rent a premium pontoon as the others are not equipped to do so. They also have paddle boards, kayaks and fishing boats. They rent dock slips for the season and winterize and store your boat. This is a full service marina. There is a super convenient lakeside store that serves hand dipped ice cream, sells beer, wine and liquor, snacks, ethanol free fuel and so much more! This is a awesome "gem" on Corey Lake. We reserved a pontoon boat ahead of time from our week lake vacation in Three Rivers. I talked with Ted on the Fri before our stay and agreed to meet him at our lakes public access point on Sunday morning at 10am. I let him know my wireless phone service was very spotty in this area and we would be there to meet him at the agreed time. My husband and our family arrived there at 10am on Sunday and no boat and no Ted. I called the marina number numerous times and called the emergency cell phone number left on the answering machine a few times also. The lake we stayed on was only a 5 minute drive from Corey Lake Marina and we didn't think there would be any problem getting it. We waited until 10:30 then drove back to our cottage rental. Ted tried to contact us a few hours after that to ask if we were ready for our boat to be delivered. At that point we were not interested in renting it anymore as he was NOT reliable in the first place. He then said if you are canceling he was charging us 50% of the rental fee for a cancellation charge $480. This is completely wrong!! Very shady!!! And not over yet!! read more
