But everything else is just trash. I purchased a brand new boat last summer. I took it got to be winterized and to warranty fix my boat cover that started to tear. I picked it up and the fall afterwards and didn't look too closely. They fixed the button but not the tear. They also left greasy dirty hand prints and dirty foot prints all over my boat that were such a pain to clean up. I didn't notice the tear was till there until I pulled it out of storage. My fault for not looking at it when I picked it up in the fall. I had it brought back to fix the tear. They fixed it but they left my boat outside in the rain. To fix the cover. A bird took a crap on the back seat. They then didn't put one pole in and put another pole so tight they couldn't snap all the buttons and now another button is tearing because of it. I went to clean the bird poop off and it left behind a yellow stain that I have no idea how to get off now. Also when I picked up the bait my 7 by 5 pin adapter is no longer connected to the boat which I always leave connected. They also winterized my waverunner and when they disconnected the negative terminal from the battery they did not put the screw back in so I had to go find a new screw. They do not care about your property. I would not recommend you use them to take care of yours.

I had a different company pick it up and it was filthy. I bought my Mastercraft from them and lifts, they serviced, stored and maintained everything for seven years. Ok so here's my issue. I have rented here a total of three times over maybe the last 7/8 years. The boats are FAIRLY well maintained so $120 is doable and fair, for sure. That being said, I called today (6/14/20) to rent a pontoon for 3-people (one elderly so I requested a ramp - which I will point out they DO have, that's why they get more than one star!) and the rate has DOUBLED! The rate is now $200 with no deposit/refund (which seems beyond asinine in this business to me - with so much liability) and NO gas included. The boat comes to you gassed-up but then you are subsequently billed for the gas you've used. While I understand a lot of businesses, especially like these, have been impacted by Covid...CLM is not restricted per se and doesn't enough boats for there to even potentially be any social distancing issues. Not to mention gas prices are lower this summer than in probably the last 10-years! Three Rivers and the surrounding is NOT the area for prices like these. I live in Chicago (family here) and you can rent a pontooon for a day there for CHEAPER. That's has never been the case until this year. I'm not sure what's going on or the reason for the increase but you've lost my business (I went and bought a kayak for LESS money than a 1-time rental of the pontoon, that I can own and use any time) and that sucks for me too. I enjoyed renting here in the past. This is not the area or the people that are going to spend this kind of money for mediocre boat on a small lake. I hate to think this but with these prices, CLM will not be renting much longer, I assure you. I'm sorry to write this. I grew up on Corey Lake and it's heartbreaking that the marina has felt the need to make it unavailable now due to the literal doubling in price. This guy appears to have a few run down boats that he is using for a slip shod rental business. Among them are: boat ramp, dockside gasoline, winter storage for boats and boat lifts, lift delivery and installation, Nautique dealer, Kawasaki Jet-ski dealer, pontoon boats, dock and boating hardware, skis and wakeboards and their necessary hardware, life jackets, tow-able floats, Clear Lake shirts and hats, the Seaweed Café(snacks and hot dogs, etc. from what I can tell, I've never actually eaten there). My father's been coming to Clear Lake since he was in college, renting, then finally became an owner about 15 years ago. So I've been coming here my entire life. (kinda wish Yelp had a location for the lake itself, I could go on and on). But my dad's had some times he's needed more attention from the Marina (a problem jet-ski), and he got it. The people there know their customers and greet them as friends with first names. Personalized service is a dying art these days, and I'm glad to see that it still matters to the CLM. They don't have high-pressure sales people, just knowledgeable and laid back, casual sales atmosphere. We could have a much worse marina on this lake. Every time I visit CL, I always make it a point to stop by the CLM. It just feels good. And we usually end up buying something. Yesterday, went for a t-shirt, ended up with another jet-ski!
