It was a beautiful sight with yellow and orange shades along with greenery that was coming toward the end of season. It was a very refreshing walk as I was making my way to a nearby sushi restaurant. The breeze was a little cooler and the temperature was around 60 degrees. A beautiful autumn day.

They have a playground (with bathrooms in the back) and the trail goes down a paved steep decline that then leads into the boardwalk path way. It is not the most stroller friendly mainly because you are dodging a TON of swan and geese poop the whole time. And it can be bumpy on some parts. But the whole pathway is pretty unique with bridges connecting it (at least 5 bridges) and there is one lookout spot you can go to. We went on a beautiful sunny and windy day and loved it!! Saw so many birds (I have never seen so many swans together before) and nests!! Lots of people fish here too. What a gem! Definitely coming back!

The playground is huge and looks like so much fun for children. There's also a gated waterpark right next to the play ground called H20 Spray park. Not sure when it opens to the public but I believe you do have to pay to enter. As you walk further down, you'll see a concession stand and another building with outside seating along with a hanging sign that says Westand Lions Club. And There's a pond area with a fountain in the middle. Lastly, there's a soccer field with a 2 lane track going around it - 1 lap is 0.5mi. We adore Plymouth Township Park! There's so much to do during any season. The big hill is perfect…read morefor sledding for older elementary aged kids and up and it's a bit less steep on the side for younger kids. There are trails to walk through with little streams and bridges and downed trees that are perfect for any season. The pond hosts ducks in the spring and summer which are fun to watch. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions to eat at or rent. Lots of different play structures are dotted around, our favorite being the large wooden one. There's even bunches and seating in the center. The best part is that there is a smaller toddler wooden park within the big one which is fenced with one entrance and exit right by the seating with swings. The highlight of the park, though, is the splash pad in summer. It's geared more towards young children and toddlers, probably kindergarten and below, but it's a lot of fun to spread a blanket in the shade while the kids play.

It's located on the shores of Belleville lake. It features lakeside boardwalk, picnic pavilion and wonderful lake views. There is fishing pier and public docks to launch Canoes/kayaks. It's a very nice setting beside the lake with benches and picnic tables. It was nice relaxing to walk down to the fishing deck. There were only few people so we were able to walk around freely. Also a PERFECT spot to watch the sunset, and even do some fishing. We searched out a nearby park to cap off our weekend visit to Belleville for the Thunder over Michigan Air Show, and this was a PERFECT spot, and walking distance to downtown, along with various bars/restaurants. This side of town seems to be older, more relaxed, while everything we had seen earlier in the weekend (off of the "main drag" Belleville Rd.) was more rushed, with plenty of chain restaurants that we wanted to avoid. The slow, relaxed walk along the water's edge of just a small portion of this wonderful town park did wonders to repair our (my) frazzled Air Show nerves, and to give us more of a real taste of this lovely area. Well kept-up, clean, nice walkways, benches and picnic tables, and a sunset that just can't be beat!! Hope to return again one day SOON!!!

Depending on weather and time of year areas of the main trail can range from dry to flooded or require use of mosquito repellent... Nature, enjoy it. The main trail heading East connects to the ITC trail, before Lilley Rd., that heads North and to the I-275 bike/hide trail past Haggerty Rd. Eventually the main trail is supposed to be extended past the I-275 trail intersect to Hannan Rd.

We went on a weekend, it was full loaded with players and felt overcrowded near the courts. Good parking space !
