Matt pulled the rabbit out of his hat! Our adventure was as follows... We had scheduled Jax Elite Charters to pick us up at 5 pm on Thursday to drive us up to Brunswick GA.. Weather intervened and we had to leave the next day... so we scheduled to get picked up at 5 pm on Friday... Well we arrived at the Airport at 5:30 am to leave and the rescheduled ticket in the computer for was not for March 8th but November 8th... Well there were no seats available anywhere because of spring break and the bad weather... so we had to reschedule with Jax Elite Charters again as we were now not arriving now until 11 pm on Friday after a zig zag excursion across the country ... so we called again and Matt worked out a couple of options for us. Ultimately he personally drove us up to Brunswick on Saturday before he went forward with his full day in Jacksonville. I work in the entertainment industry and have worked with hundred of car services around the world. I do not know if I will ever be back to Jacksonville but I guarantee you I will not delete Jax Elite Charters number out of my phone. I called three times to get an understanding of the amount of times the bus would be allowed to stop. They told me three, I wanted confirmation as that seemed ridiculous if you rent it as a private occasion. Finally after 3 calls and two weeks later the owner Vince called back to confirm as many stops. The delayed response should have been the first sign to not proceed with the rental. The reservation company quoted me at $135/hour. I agreed at $135 a hour for 5 hours at $675 plus taxes. The day of the transaction I received a charge for $818.83. I text the owner and he said there was a miscommunication but generally they add a $50 tip for the driver. I was fine with that but there is still a remaining balance. After several text messages within the last weeks, Vince continues to side step the refund. His first excuse is that my credit card payment was still trying to clear after a full week. Then he said he would PayPal me $75. The refund amount isn't the the issue, it's lack of transparency and the unwillingness to make right after agreeing to refund for a certain amount. My advice is to look for a more reputable company or agree to pay only in cash up front the day of, don't get treated the way I did. I'll post an update if anything changes. I created a dispute with my credit card company. Wish me luck. ++++ Update 11/22/18 - Owner finally responded and provided credit to my account. He said he never had issues before crediting in the past. However, there were a couple reasons provided previously why it wasn't working. Why offer paying me thru PayPal then not delivering on that too? Nonetheless, the refund came after a few weeks that involved several text messages and a credit card dispute. He apologized and acknowledge he should have been more communicative in this process.

Our driver, Desmond, was also professional, personable, and did his best to keep us on schedule despite traffic delays along the way. The charter bus was very comfortable, and the charging outlets were especially convenient for keeping student and staff devices powered throughout the trip. Overall, the experience was smooth, organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be using Graham Tours again in the future and highly recommend them to others.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I had hired them to get me from the airport and…read moredrive me home. My flight landed at midnight. The only good thing I have to say, is that he was on time. Once I get in the car I noticed the driver had the wrong address in his system for me and when I questioned him on it he says "are you sure?" Umm, yes I'm sure I know where I live. Then he thinks he picked up the wrong person, I go to tell him that he's been texting me. He ask me to respond to the text to confirm that he had the right person. I mean how can you not have the right information in front of you? Then he proceeds the mess with his phone while he's driving on 95 going like 50 miles an hour. Then he finally leaves his phone alone and focuses on the drive. Next thing I know, we are going a minimum of 80 MPH on the interstate. But at least he's not on his phone anymore. Once we get off the highway, he starts messing with his phone again to send me the link to pay and misses a turn. When I tell him, he gets flustered and starts to pull off the road but I stopped him and told him to go the way he was already going, it would just take a few extra minutes. Once we get to my neighborhood, he goes 5-10 MPH over the limit on my street. Needless to say, I will never hire them again.

The beaches shuttle system is scheduled to run May 3 through Sept. 6 on Friday nights 7pm to 2am, Saturdays noon to 2am and Sundays are noon to 6pm. The trolleys will operate longer hours on Sunday, July Fourth, running from noon to 2 a.m., and Monday, Sept. 6, for Labor Day, running from noon to 6 p.m. The trolleys will continue to go back and forth from South Beach Regional Shopping Center in South Jacksonville Beach to Atlantic Village Shopping Center in Atlantic Beach. But only on 3rd Street. They will avoid First Street, which is narrow and peppered with pedestrians, which slows the operation. The return time at any given trolley stop is about 20 minutes and I don't think that's too bad of wait or price given the dangerousness of drinking and driving and what that could cost you! Besides, I don't want to be out there on the road with my kids and your drunk butt is driving!! See ya at the trolley stop!
