Pretty cool bus station , all dough my bus on Dec 18,23 to Detroit was late waiting for my transfer bus that evening . There do have a subway sandwich shop in here in case you get hungry , and plus there is a security guard here to make sure you're here waiting for a bus or Amtrak , so if you don't have a bus or Amtrak ticket he going to ask you to leave . very nice and warm place . I feel very cozy here waiting on my delay bus !!!!! read more

Greyhound Toledo, is eh 'Time-Capsule!' Has some cushion, wall side sitting to wait-til-next and departure appeal. The seat covered as much of my, weighting capacity as it could. To top it off, I guess I appeared strange when 'eye' ask, is this it? Yes ma'am! You can say, 'I wasn't ready!' Still all-n-all 'Customer Service' was great! You'd be better off hitch hiking. There's no option for negative stars. Just know, the service is almost non-existant. When they Are there, they're rude to confrontational. Buses are re-routed with no warning/notice. Often drivers don't know until last min. Either. Be prepared for 6hrs. To be tacked on to trip. Extra charges for everything and 2-3wks. For a refund. SWEET JESUS!! I'm in the Ghetto!!! However, the station itself is very clean...especially when compared to that of Chicago, or Buffalo. Just don't go outside. I learned very quickly that there are some strange characters hanging around the bus station. One woman came up to me and just started telling me her life story, and how she was stuck there because her "online" friends didn't "really" expect her to show up... followed by..."can I have some money to go home." I quickly gathered my things... said sorry... and scurried to the other side of the station. They do have a spot to charge your cell phone, however only a few of the plug-ins actually work. read more

I purchased two tickets and didn't use none of the tickets. I tried to prepare myself In case I didn't have a ride from prison and fortunately my family was there to pick me up and now there saying I can't be refunded my money for the two tickets which totaled to 216.00. This place is a scam and doesn't care about the customers all it cares about is the money. I'd they really cared about there customers they would charge a cancelation fee or something but instead greed is apart of there philosophy. It's sad when they know people are struggling with the turns in the world today and the economy and everything going up and they have no consideration what so ever for there customers. Greyhound is definitely infamous b/c of their general poor customer service but the worst I've ever experienced (and boy have I used GH extensively coast to coast) is hands down. In addition to your traditional "agents" who don't give a damn about customers and probably hate their lives and job, at this station, the bus always leaves EARLIER than departure time... Yes, you read right! First time the last bus of the day (scheduled for 10:45pm) left me and I had been to the station twice. Once an hour ahead (i got my ticket and my luggage tag) and then I went to grab a quick bite and came back to the station at 10:35 and the bus was LONG gone, according to the agent. Today, I did the same thing but this time return to the station 25 mins before scheduled departure and guess what.... Yup, the bastards abandoned me again. The agent started blaming the driver suing he leaves whenever he pleases but when I talked to that driver (my boyfriend drove to the next town on the itinerary), he said there were only 2 people at the station. The stupid agent never told him there was another customer going (I had checked in with an hour before and I was the only black chick with an Afro and an accent out of the 3 people in the whole station so he definitely remembered me, especially considering that as soon as he saw me, he was quick to tell me the bus left). The bus driver was gracious enough to tell me to keep my ticket and use it next time. I'm still filing a complaint but honestly, I'm not holding my breath on GH holding their staff accountable. I just want the stupid fools not to even think about charging me a $15 change fee for when I use this free ticket next (that will be the last time too). Megabus or driving only now!! read more

Standard Greyhound. Small station. Don't expect to eat at this unless you like vending machine food.

This was my first bus experience and hopefully my last. I guess I kind of thought the terminal would be relatable to an airport terminal, but it reminded me more of the NYC subway. The facilities themselves were not maintained. The bathrooms were terrible, not maintained and no toilet paper. There was no a/c in the terminal which made it very uncomfortable to wait for a bus that ended up being over an hour late. (None of the agents said anything about the bus being late, which really bothered me. I had to look up on my phone and check the bus tracker to see where the bus located.) Imagine lots of people in one large room all sticky and sweaty. Probably worse than a locker room. On top of all of this, the front desk associate was extremely rude for no reason at all. I was very friendly, because I too as well, work in customer service. But was still treated poorly. At least the bus driver was friendly. The bus ride itself was decent. But the bus is pretty gross and unmaintained inside. There was trash randomly all over just like the terminal was. There was wrappers, books, pencils, bottles, and a whole bunch of garbage just rolling around on there. We sat near the bathrooms and you could smell the urine coming from it even though the door was closed. You can also clearly tell people smoke in the bathrooms even though the driver says not too. I felt like the the entire bus needed a deep cleanse. I probably won't be using greyhound ever again unless I absolutely have no other choice to do so. I'll probably try Megabus next, I heard good things. read more

What an unbelievable experience for my daughter coming home from Ohio State University for the weekend. First of all the ticket was printed incorrectly when she has always travelled to the Findlay Ohio location. When she was told by the bus driver to get off in Marion Ohio she pleaded for the driver to give her a few minutes to go inside the station and buy a ticket for the last leg of the trip as there has been some mistake. The driver told her she had wasted enough of his time and that the next bus comes at 5am the next morning and then closed the door!!! My daughter called me at home in Bowling Green, Ohio upset and scared. Not only did he pull away and left this beautiful young 20 yr old young lady but then she said the Greyhound station was just closing and they have asked her to leave too! She had to walk from the station with temperatures at 28 degrees out carrying all her stuff for the weekend in the dark in an area she was not familiar with! I had a 1 hour 20 min drive from bowling green to Marion to get her. The whole way not knowing if she was going to be SAFE till I got there! This is not acceptable! How could I ever trust greyhound to get my daughter home safe again after they have kicked her out like that! Do not buy ticket online from here! I bought ticket with MasterCard debit card. Printed out receipt from their website with total amount paid $107.50 conf. No. It says on confirmation receipt paid with MasterCard. Paid in full. Got charged for $121.50. I called for refund, gave them my MasterCard no. Paid with again. She said it would be in my account in 7-14 days. It wasn't. I called back a month later. She says it was refunded to Visa acct. 1677. She said same card I paid with. Only problem is I paid with MasterCard. I don't even have a Visa card. My original MasterCard I paid with shows that I paid with MasterCard on their own receipt confirmation I have a copy of. She says their computer says I paid with Visa and 14$ was recredited to that Visa acct.. I don't have Visa and they can't explain why my receipt shows I paid with MasterCard. Doesn't make sense unless the girl who says she recredited my acct. 14$ really credited the refund to her acct. or a friends acct.. I'm guessing the call center for greyhound bus is in Mexico because everyone I talk to from there sounds Mexican which I don't care about but it's hard to understand them. It's the principle of the whole situation not the money. I'm guessing they collect the wrongful charges and frustrate you enough that you just let it go. Pitiful and corrupt organization.
