This transit center, right on the border of two Washington State Counties, is the only major transit connection between north King County and south Snohomish County. This place is just south of what appears to be The biggest Home Depot on the planet. Community Transit and rapid ride connect here, such as between Seattle, Lynnwood and Everett. Have fun!

From my personal experience, the parking spots are gone by 8:00 AM during weekdays. This is convenient stop for commuters and can be busy especially during M's, Seahawks, and Sounders home games. The trains do experience some delays and it's nice to the Sound Transit freeway stop as an alternative. I used the light rail to travel to either Westlake, UW, or even International District. The stops may seem a lot, but the travel time is rather quick. As always, I recommend adding a buffer time especially during peak travel times. This stop is a short walk away from local spots such as Diamond Knot Brewing, Baguus Little Asia, and Double DD Meats. I've seen commuters park in the neighborhoods around Mountlake Terrace to avoid the popular game of hunting down the last parking spot at the station.

I had never visited Mountlake Terrace until the light rail station opened last summer. The station is located next to I-5 and is an elevated rail station built above the street. At the street level, there is a bus stop to connect to Community Transit buses. There is also a parking garage across the street here, making it easier to commute into Seattle without driving. The Sound Transit website also states that a surface parking lot with 206 parking spaces is available. Bike parking and restrooms are also features of this station. Light rail service is frequent as there are trains at least every 10 minutes or so for most of the day. All in all, it is a good addition, bringing in travelers into this area that otherwise would not have ventured here because it was previously inconvenient by public transportation.

There's also a fairly large parking garage so you don't have to fight for parking. The down side is that this place is pretty dirty and I regularly feel bad for my shoes. Overall I'd highly prefer to drive or Uber, but when using transit this station will help you get you where you need to go.

He said he will only drive as far as Seattle, and then the bus will be out of commission because he won't drive it any further. Then he told me to get off his bus and get another bus tomorrow, or sleep on the street in Seattle, because Greyhound will not put me up in a hotel in Seattle even though Greyhound screwed (he says) up my ticket and the bus scheduling. At about 7:30 multiple customer service reps said the bus was still in Seattle an hour away. At 8:15 p.m., with it getting dark (the bus station is in the middle of nowhere), and needing to catch a flight the next morning, we decided the best/only option was taking an Uber up to Vancouver -- it cost $200. The web site showed the bus eventually left Seattle at 9:03 p.m., 3 1/2 hours after it was supposed to leave. (As of the next day, it still showed a 7:18 p.m. arrival in Everett and I have no idea if it ever came.) The best customer service could do for the $200 I am out plus the hours we spent waiting and on the phone with customer service was the bare minimum of refunding the cost of the original tickets that we didn't use. I am surprised/disappointed a company that's been around 100 years couldn't do better than this, in all areas.
