Horrible service 27hours delayed my original trip was on saturday woke up at five thirty stressing just to make it to the station on time because they could leave you. By six o'clock, they canceled the service for the day my bus would have. depart at 825 they sent me a lovely email saying how they were going to give me a free trip or a refund which I think is funny. Because, I already paid for the original trip, nothing is free!!! i contacted customer service and explained that I already booked my hotel had my ride all set up customer service barely speaks english. She didn't even understand me and had explained that I could rebook online. I rebooked for sunday now without a hotel room to go to. sitting here in medford oregon now once again three hours delayed. This trip has cost me $400 dollars and two days and i'm still sitting at the pickup location honestly would have been better off renting a car. read more

Medford Greyhound is a new location that opened in 08, and is at the Rogue Valley Transportation District's Front Street Station. It's useful and well located and specific to Greyhound, and I've come through here twice now, when I was touring up and down the West Coast on a 2 month Greyhound pass. What a great experience it was and this was one of the little towns I remember, with a decent station that is shiny and new and fit for purpose. read more

Great way to travel! I've always been happy when I've chosen to use Greyhound. From my first time in the late eighties when I was a senior in high school I took a trip from Marysville California to Modesto, to when I was coming home during Christmas break from Abilene Christian University in Texas to Turlock California to now. I've never had any problems or regrets with Greyhound, just a smooth ride taking in the American scenic view; absolutely beautiful!! I love yo Greyhound!). Happy 2024!!! read more

Shady business practices Horrible service. They're Openly aware of the wrong they're doing. Employees are careless and laugh at your unfortunate situation. The Medford station isn't in use and it's a slum for the homeless. I have no idea how this even happens? Medford and phoenix are two different cities This isn't even in Medford. They have a big sign in-front of the building but if you go in they'll tell you they've moved to Phoenix. I bought a ticket from MEDFORD to Eugene and the address was PHOENIX OREGON. It never stated Phoenix Oregon. They'll saying Phoenix is Medford. I couldn't get a hold of customer service in 2:30 am and I couldn't get anything rearranged. Now they're telling me I cannot get a refund because I waited too long. Their service line is useless. You'll get people who speak broken English to tell you they can't give you a refund. The should UPDATE THEIR GPS CAUSE IT SAYS MEDFORD GREYHOUND. THEYRE WEBSITE SAYS MEDFORD GREYHOUND STATION. I demand a refund for the 200$ I had to spend in tickets and running back and forth from Medford to Phoenix just to get a ticket. Medford bus station is careless. Ok, so my son took a greyhound bus from Sarasota Florida to Medford Oregon. During the trip he had a siezure and had to leave the bus and go to the hospital in Atlanta Georgia via ambulance, which delayed him for a day, not a big deal.. He continued the trip to Oregon and now have no luggage!! We have tried calling and doing the online application that does not even work.. People please be careful with your luggage, they don't care.. read more

If i could give this company a less than 0 review, i would. DO NOT USE GREYHOUND. They do not care that they are screwing you. Absolutely no help from customer service, which is outsourced to somewhere in India. I paid $587 for my ticket and had to cancel 16 hours later. My cancellation fee was $440. The rest is only refunded as a voucher to use on a future greyhound trip. I will never ride these smelly, broke down buses again. read more

I'm currently riding the Greyhound bus #1443 heading South from Oregon to Fresno, Ca. This bus is obviously not part of the newer fleet that the company literature brags about. At this writing, I observed the following: 1. I was not able to locate a single working power outlet to charge my phone. 2. The seats were in moderate condition. 3. The bathroom entry was so narrow that a person over 230 lbs would not be able to fit through the door, which I believe is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. 4. Once in the restroom, there are no instructions on how to turn on the lighting, so I had to use my cell phone. 5. There was no type of hand washing sink available, something that is a violation of basic sanitation within enclosed areas. 6. The light switches above my seat did not work. 7. Probably the most irritating item was the lack of an electronic contact method for Greyhound. Their online agent was offline, so any comments or concerns had to be called in or mailed to them. How 1992. Get it together Greyhound. People out here are relying on you to deliver! read more

Greyhound has no customer service that is open when their busses run 24 hours a day. When my bus was delayed over 2.5 hours and that made me miss my flight, they couldn't change my ticket to a bus that arrived before my delayed one by 1.5 hours just so I could catch my flight. Their chat channel was just as bad as their phone in department at 214-849-8966. I'm sure I was calling into an area outside the USA since the operator couldn't speak English that well at all and had to ask me what time it was where I was. When I asked to talk to the supervisor, he said they'd tell me the same thing. He recited the fact that i understood their policies and confirmed this when I booked my ticket. Do NOT use Greyhound! Greyhound has gotten worse and worse! What happened to Greyhound? The route from Portland,Or.to Redding,Ca.,to Sacramento,Ca.,to San Francisco,Ca.,is consistently late the last 3 years! This is true if going north or south. Me and other customers(including mothers with small children and elderly in wheelchairs)have been stuck in Redding,Medford,and Sacramento for hours,as many as 6! In Medford we were outside in the cold at 02:00 am waiting,the station is not open at night. No employee or driver seems to ever explain why.Some times " we have no bus driver now." Forget about calling customer service in the middle of the night,they are not open. Unacceptable service! Forget about an apology or refund,many of us have tried,nothing is ever done to correct the problem,or compensate us. Evidently being the biggest bus line in America they simply don't care about the customers anymore.They are almost a monopoly,not any competition to speak of. P.S.- I have never had the wifi on any bus work for more than a few minutes,and in the terminals,terrible wifi too! read more

Where to start with this!!!! We bought my cousin a bus ticket from Medford to Allentown leaving at 6:20am on July 25th. When my cousin arrived at 6:00am to get his ticket, the station was closed until 1:30pm that day. There is a kiosk to print out bus tickets but you need the credit card that purchased the ticket to print it out. Then he waited until 7:00 and the bus never showed. So he went back to his step dads and waited until the station opened, and returned to find out what happened. So here is what went down: the guy at the counter whose name begins with R told him the bus broke down, then proceeded to tell him that in order to get on the bus he needs to pay $20.00 for his ticket change, even though it was not his fault. He got his ticket scheduled for around 4:00pm and went back to his step dads. He returned to the station for his bus and again it did not show. His step dad went to the window, R told him that he was busy. He again tried to get his attention and again was told he was busy. May I add he wasn't very friendly to a person on the either. Finally R cam out and started to berate him and calling him names such as "you fat f@@@". I'm am disgusted how they were treated. I would never take a bus from Medford. The only reason it got 1 star is because it would not let go forward with my review until I clicked on it read more

Whoever the partially bald guy with dark facial hair is that works front desk for tickets is rude EVERY TIME I am having to retrieve my tickets. I have been to this bus station 5 times over the past two years and every time he has helped me he has been both rude and sarcastic and gawks at me whenever I have to ask a question like I am supposed to know the answer, and then responds in a very sarcastic demeaning tone. This man should not be allowed to work in such a job with so many customer interactions. If the people that work at the Greyhounds in Portland manage to be nice, then he should be held to that standard as well. I am amazed he has yet to be fired for such poor service. read more

I recently purchased a car in Portland and needed to get there to drive the vehicle back to Medford. I thought greyhound would be the most convenient and cost effective way. I was very wrong. I showed up for my 4:05bus only to be told it was at least 4 hours behind, which would not work for me. I informed the employee running the ticket counter I would need a refund because getting into Portland at 2:30am would not work for my ride. The employee refused to give me a refund despite the issue being the fault of Greyhound. She told me I would have to call customer service to see if I could even get a refund. I went to Greyhounds website and could not find a phone number to call, only an online messenger to chat with someone. I proceeded to use the chat portion of the site just to get a phone number for customer service. I called customer service and they told me I would have to pay $20 to get a new itinerary to get to Portland. I demanded to speak with a manager, and they advised they would make an exception and get me on the 4:05pm bus the following day. I agreed and was rescheduled. I arrived the next day to find out my bus was already an hour and a half behind. Thus instead of reaching my destination at 10:30pm as scheduled, I did not arrive until 11:45pm. The bus was absolutely disgusting and had not been properly cleaned or repaired in a very long time. The seat I was stuck sitting in was broken and I was sliding out of my seat for 6 hours. The light fixtures in the bus were filled with bug carcasses, and needed to be cleaned out. I brought Lysol wipes with me and had to sanitize my seat before sitting. Fortunately I have the means to never use Greyhound again as I can fly or rent a car next time. I do, however, feel bad for the people forced to use Greyhound. It is apparent when getting on the bus the majority of the clientele is of poverty. I can't believe the amount of work I had to go through to not only get my ticket rescheduled, or heaven forbid a refund. The Greyhound system seems to prey on the poverty stricken population of the country by charging them and when something goes awry, knowing they do not have the means to better their situation (I.e. get a reschedule or refund). My overall experience was appalling at the fact the Greyhound systems exploits the less fortunate population who are dependent on their transit system. If you are considering using the greyhound please think twice, and contemplate other avenues of transportation. read more
