Got over charged and car smelled really strongly of cigarettes. Other taxis have charged me 50 for the same ride and this one charged me 85.

This company despise and treats people with disabilities horribly this is not the first time I tried to work with them and try to be nice with them this was the last time the driver told me to get the fuck out now that I supposedly abuse the services and they're not going to a further assist me I had a friend with me to help just in case my back went out cuz I'm going paralyzed from the waist down. and have problems time to time and I had a friend assistance to help me just in case I fall. No show, not to be trusted with a fixed-time reservation. Made a reservation for a 5am pickup this morning to take me to hospital for surgery: Critical timing and facts I made them aware of, at the time I made the reservation. Valley Cab didn't show, nor did they call. Until I phoned in later to complain, they were blissfully unaware they'd left me stranded curbside in the dark, below freezing, and in heaps of pain. I did get a sincere apology and a promise from the dispatcher answering the phone this afternoon, to take it up with the owner. Terrible experience. Called and had time confirmed. Driver called when she was supposed to be in Talent to get us to the airport. Showed 40 minutes LATE. Had every excuse, couldnt find keys, couldnt find our house, GPS had it wrong. Never had problems with other taxis. Will never use them again nor recommend. read more

The fuckin WORST!!!!!!!!!! I called the cab at 7:45am to go to work they said 10-15 mins. I called at 8:15 because I have work at 8:30 they put me on hold for 11 minutes to tell me they don't know why the dispatcher sent a car that was two towns over and have to send me a new car!! I was traveling to Medford for work and found valley cab to be highly reliable. My driver (Bob) picked me up at the airport brought me to my hotel. He was very friendly and had great communication. I appreciate this company much more than my previous experiences with others because their dispatcher is on top of things with great communication. Their Drivers are professional, friendly and I really appreciate their attention to detail and timeliness. I have traveled here for work for years and have not had success with can drivers. Moving forward I will only use Valley Cab and may do so in the future rather than rent a car on short trips. read more

Valley Cab takes the cake for poor cab service. Yes, they're cheap.. but the cars are dirty and disgusting. They use Paypal to process credit cards so if you're like me and have your own Paypal, they always have a hard time and/or can never run any card you have that might be on your paypal -- how lame. Leaving my car back home and traveling to another state can be nerveracking. We used this service 3 times throughout my stay in Oregon. Twice I had called ahead and made reservations and once I called last minute. Both times I called ahead the drivers were early and friendly and courteous. The one time I had to call last minute We were told 20-25min and it ended up being about 35... But hey a 10 minute difference isn't anything. I read the reviews after using it the 2 times and was very surprised by the negatively... I loved this company and will definitely use them again if I ever come back up here. read more

Bravo! Called the day before for a o'dark-thirty pick up...called again 30 mins out - and my driver arrived within minutes..very polite, gracious, efficient and smooth ride to airport. You mean I can't give them less than 1 star?? I USED to always call valley cab for a ride to work twice a week. The first time they showed up late, I figured they were just really busy. What I now understand is that they are just careless and unprofessional. Tonight I called them after they were several minutes late and the dispatcher answered and then immediately dropped my call. I ended up WALKING to work and then finally they called me back TWO minutes before I was supposed to clock in to let me know they were waiting outside my apartment. I told my co-workers why I was late and they ALL unanimously echoed my sentiment, saying they have had similar or much worse experiences than I did tonight, so now I feel as if I am sharing this review on behalf of several highly dissatisfied customers. NEVER in my life have I had an experience as bad as this. I had the hospital call a cab for me, didn't matter who to be honest. I'm not well, feeling pretty gross as you'd expect a person coming from the goddamned hospital right? Well, the guy who gets me won't engage in small talk. Ok that is totally fine. Normally I am not much for small talk myself, so whatever. But then he tells me something is wrong with his meter and says " METER IS BROKEN. BAD DAY FOR ME...lucky day for you! You get an 11$ ride for about 6.50$" or something along those lines. OK. I would have tipped. I wouldn't have just taken my change of a 20 bill and walked out. I NEVER DO THAT! BUT...you wanna get rude with me? I just got out of the HOSPITAL. You know something Valley Cab? I know you guys in the cab industry hate picking people up from the hospital but, I work for a bar. I wasn't going to be someone who leeches a free fucking ride... I'm one that uses you guys frequently, maybe not personally but my customers do. I WORK AT THE BAR NEXT TO YOU, YOU KNOW... THE ONE THAT SHARES A PARKING LOT FOR THAT MATTER. I always tip. This time I didn't. All because pony tail glasses guy wanted to be rude to me when I have already had a bad night. He will not get calls from me or any of my customers. My personal customers will ride with someone a company that isn't so.... Rude. And to be honest as ill as I have felt all night.. At first all seemed well. We had a long drive ahead of us up the mountains and so the original cab driver put us in the hands of someone he felt would do a better job driving in such conditions at night. But during our drive, the driver started complaining to us about the drive and his coworkers. He spent the entire rest of the trip freaking out about the drive and insisted on calling the owner of the cabin we were going to. At 1 am he called the owner and rudely insisted they give him directions, never mind the fact that the owner had left me very detailed instructions and called me ahead of time to help. The driver ignored my advice. He continued yelling at the owner saying the roads were covered in ice and that they better send someone to pick him up, which was false. It simply was a wet dirt road. He charged more than quoted and when I was debating giving him a tip, he gave me an attitude. I regret giving in. Horribly disappointed, on my way back to the airport a few days later, I called another cab company. What an annoying start to our honeymoon. read more

I talked to the owner, by private messaging. I, made several suggestions,, with all these cabs, and now Uber and Lyft, on how to gain a edge. I, am so, surprised to find so many cab companies, thru Yelp, there is no way, they can all survive. There needs to be discounts for, your regular users. If, the cab company is late, by a giving amount of time, give the customer a discount, I believe, it could be written off as a business expense. There, doesn't seem to be competitive prices, customer service is not going to make rides and times more accurate. The following is for every cab company in this area, don't give me a excuse for not arriving, when you promise. I, have heard them all, don't tell me 15 minutes, and have a reason 30 minutes later, your on your way!!!!!! To, the customer, yes me, be realistic and get, to your destination a little earlier. I hate to say this, but, having to take cabs stinks, but let any cab company that is late, call their headquarters, and let them know. Would never recommend using this cab service. Called 2 hours in advance and asked for a quote on the price to get me & my friend from A to B(note that we are both early 20's females), and was quoted 75 dollars, we had to make 2 stops, so we dropped my friend off first since it was literally on the way to my stop and the meter was already over $90 arrived to my location and the meter was at $101.73. Waited in the driveway for the driver to tell me the meter was wrong, but he just sat there. So, I'm a young girl in a van with a strange man, I wasn't about to start an argument; I gave him the money that was on the meter. The next day I told my friend how much it cost by the time I got home, so she called to complain, but they said they'd have to get back to her (they never did) now, today, almost a week later, the cab driver himself calls ME; when I had never even tried to stir any of this up, and was so extremely rude that I hung up and called someone in charge, or so I thought. I ended up getting the dispatcher who scheduled our ride and got the same treatment from him. Then he proceeds to try to convince me that the amount I read on the meter was not correct, and that it read $96 (how would anyone cofuse the numbers 96 with 101?) Regardless; I was quoted a seemingly fair price and then the driver and apparently this company took advantage of the fact we were two young women out at night and ripped us off.
