The battery stopped working while it was still covered under the one-year warranty. I followed all of the required steps provided by Vetra, including submitting the original receipt and all requested information, and returning the defective battery using the specialized shipping box and process required for shipment. I stayed in close communication with customer service throughout the process and did everything requested of me. After completing all required steps, I was told "Once the package has been dropped off, please send us a photo of the drop‑off receipt. As soon as we have proof that the battery is on its way, we'll be able to send out your replacement." The response to sending proof of shipment I received from customer service was: "We informed Vetra and are just waiting for the next steps once they receive it." That response was nearly three weeks ago, and I have received no further updates, no timeline, and no information about when my replacement battery will be shipped. As well as no response to any of the follow up emails I have sent them. The expectation was that a new battery would be sent under the warranty, but instead I have been left waiting with very little communication or support. A warranty is only meaningful when a company follows through and keeps customers informed. Unfortunately, my experience with Vetra has been extremely frustrating. The lack of communication, unclear process, and lengthy delay have been unacceptable. I hope Vetra improves its customer service and warranty support because customers deserve timely updates and a company that stands behind its products.

Without getting into it, it was a rough day for me, and I was looking for something to add a little joy to my life. We talked about family a bit, looked at the bike I had in mind, and I asked him to scratch me out the numbers to think about. He was very clear on the pricing, discounts, add-ons, options for titling, etc. Destination cost is a thing, friends. So is licensing and taxes. In a hot market for a hot bike, so is dealer markup. We took it back for repairs and they told us that it was "bad gas" and they said they drained the fuel tank and refilled it with new higher octane gasoline. The backfiring continued until one day it just wouldn't start at all. I also drained the tank myself and refilled it with a new tank of high octane fuel but to no avail. Because Hillsboro is pretty distant and I wasn't very impressed by their service department's failure to fix the problem that had been plaguing the machine since purchase, I decided to take it to Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Motorcycles for service. Dalton, the service representative I initially contacted and worked with throughout the service visit was very personable and great to deal with. He was honest about the delays in service due to the high demand season and large number of recreational vehicles needing repair. After drop-off, Dalton kept in contact with updates on the service schedule and called promptly when the repair was finished. Because the repair took less time than the normal 2 hour mechanic's assessment period I was actually charged less than the normal minimum fee I was quoted at the onset. The ATV was clean and had been washed prior to my arrival. I was urged to give it a good test drive to insure there were no residual issues before loading it up to bring home. The ATV started right up, ran smoothly and I was able to drive it right up into the bed of my pickup truck using their convenient loading ramp/platform in the parking lot. Overall, I was very satisfied by the service and professionalism demonstrated by the staff at Beaverton Motorcycles and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for ATV repairs.

KTM in Reno let me use the back of their shop, and by the time I figured what part was needed, and did a locate, Gresham was the only place that would send someone to FedEx that late in the day (4:30) to guarantee I'd have a part Saturday morning by 10. They followed up with a phone call to assure me it was handed off. Between KTM of Reno, and KTM of Gresham, these two dealers are rock stars. I don't think attitude is elusive to any one KTM dealership, and notice that it's there amongst most I encounter while riding around the country. Consider that these dealers have been around before everyone started drinking the Orange Kool-Aid, through the lean years. They've earned the right to be a little fussy. If you walk in giving the respect earned, then you will get the respect you deserve.

I had a bad experience at a tigard dealership and recently answered an additional in craigs list for an advertise price which was totally a lie at an emclaw Washington dealer when he added $2500 to the out the door price, offering me $2500 Trade in on my 2016 kodiak utility.it had mud lite tires 80 percent left on it, aluminum wheels, wench, heavy duty hitch an hour meter since new 98 percent oil changes done at 50 to 60 hours I know a dealer has to make a profit on a trade in but my plastics were good serviced it to last another 10 years. I decided to drop by fairview yamaha motor sports and show him the deal the Washington dealer tried to pull on me. He also had a loaded 2025 matching the Washington one in Washington but out the door it was priced $2000 cheaper and also both 2025 were brand new. I didnt know Dan's name at the time the owner but he had always given me a veterans discount on parts and I knew I was in the right place I told him I would be buying my stuff there and some service on the new one when I needed thier expertise he gave me $500 more on my trade in than any of the other dealers had. I thought on his offer over night and took the deal on the grizzly camo 700. He saw a picture of my quad only at that time I called him the following day as they were closed Monday. I told him I was on my way from yamhill to fairview to trade in my quad, it would take me 1 1/2 hours to get there. When I drove into thier lot I noticed the 2026 grizzly 700 camo was in the service bay Dan came out while I was unloading my kodiak had a service guy test ride my old quad. It met thier expectations and they got the new grizzly loaded while my wive drove 10 minutes from our gresham home paid for it. I signed the paper work in 5 minutes and we're basically on our way home. Bought a lot of motorcycles and cars in 60 years but never had a more pleasurable no bull crap deal than with Dan at Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview skip the other dealers in Oregon and Wasington. His quads are each priced on thier tags and it is out the door no bull trap . Plus around $350 incidental registration and title fees taxes. I had forgotten to take off a wire harness called Dan the following TuesdaY mentioned it to him told him I had left a phone message with the company to buy a new one but wasn't sure I could still buy one for my dump trailer. Told him I would call him back if I needed to make arrangements to recover my old one. A day later I bought a new one but forgot to call Dan I didnt need to get the old one but Dan in the mean time had his service man take my glove box and plastics off and remove my cable and up and down button off the handle bars and battery and I could come pick it up no charge. Who in this world still gives this kind of service need I say it Fairview Yamaha Sports Plaza and Dan the owner AAA Plus Operation!!!!!!!​ over at least 8 or 9 years the cost of repairs were reasonable as well. It is the only place to buy a new rig in my opinion an honest and reliable operation
