Most recently, my "change oil" light came on, so I stopped in assuming I needed service. Instead of just going ahead with the oil change, they took the time to check my history and let me know that since I used Mobil 1 oil last time, I'm actually covered for up to 10,000 miles. They explained that my car is simply set to alert me at 5,000 miles, so I didn't need an oil change yet. They easily could have taken my money since I came in expecting to pay, but their honesty really stood out. That level of integrity is rare and truly appreciated. Experiences like this are exactly why I'll continue to be a loyal customer. Highly recommend!

I ended up going back to the exact same guy I used 11 years ago , Carlos at 15 Minutes Smog Test & Repair. Same guy, same professionalism, same incredible service. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes and paid only $40. Eleven years ago, I paid $35. In California, where prices have doubled and tripled on everything, this is honestly unbelievable. I called around before going, and everywhere else was quoting me anywhere from $60 to $80+. Carlos knows exactly what he's doing, which is why this place constantly has 5-star reviews. Super proactive, super professional, and they even cleaned my windshield while I was there. Seriously, don't waste your time chasing coupons or dealing with nonsense shops. They were kind enough to squeeze me in right before the end of their day, which I appreciated. In addition to the oil change service, the gentleman working on my car let me know that there were two minor maintenance issues he could take care of real quick (just a couple filters that needed replacing.) I was able to purchase the filters there for a reasonable price and he replaced them with no added labor cost. Also checked my tires and topped off my fluids. I appreciated his thoroughness, in addition to his honesty in identifying issues with my vehicle without making me feel pressured or taken advantage of. I will definitely be back here.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed that I was charged the full price even though not all of the work appears to have been completed. When I got home, I checked under the hood and noticed my oil level was overfilled, my coolant was at the minimum level, and my windshield washer fluid was completely empty. I also noticed my brake fluid was low, which can indicate that the brakes should be inspected to determine whether they need to be replaced soon. I was told that everything looked good and was simply handed my keys. Had these items been brought to my attention, I would have appreciated the honesty and the opportunity to address them. Instead, I was left wondering whether everything was actually inspected as promised. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes based on the reviews.
