Tenant has been complaining about her walkway gate for over a year. ChatGPT recommended a mobile welder to fix gate. Instead of having to excavate to move posts, a welder could cut off hinges and reposition gate to swing freely in about an hour. I called him directly to describe the problem, sent him photos, he replied that he could help, i asked for a ball park quote based on my photos alone. He arrived on site before me, so we spoke on phone again and he described how he was going to fix it, I told him to go ahead and start. Within 40 minutes they were cleaning up and now the gate works perfectly. Greg and his employee are both experienced professional welders. I will definitely use him again and I have already recommended him to a family member who needs him. read more

Greg is a total pro. He comes prepared and also made sure that I had the things he needed to be efficient, eg electric outlet, parking nearby for his truck, etc. I needed to weld a lockbox onto a chain link fence gate to install a deadbolt. It was a very tight fit but Greg made it look easy. The resulting weld was just what I was hoping for - very elegant. Greg is a craftsman who charges a fair rate for excellent results. read more

I saw Greg's listing on here one morning at 9am, called him at 10am, he came out at 12:30pm and was done w/the job at 1:45pm. If that's not portable, instant service I don't know what is. I did call 2 other places and one quoted me $550 for the job and another $250. I knew this was a simple job so I figured those prices were too high. As far as Greg and his work, he is a really nice guy and took all my comments about how I needed it reinforced very professionally. He added a gusset on each post which I really appreciated. I feel Greg is going to be my "welder guy" from now on. read more

6 stars if it was an option Greg really was the best person out of all 3 peope that came to my house. We have an older gate and I wasnt ready to drop several thousand on a replacement. After 1 day, he was able to reinforce the strength without making it too ugly (another guy wanted to add a big pole my wife hated) Very glad I went with this team. There is a reason he only has 5 stars read more

AMAZING!! With Covid devastating the restaurant industry, we needed a patio railing done ASAP. I've searched for many metal fabricators, came in contact with a few but all of whom were not consistent. We had a budget that we wanted to stay below so whenever we began the planning stage, few declined and majority just stopped replying. I'm not sure if it was the area we were in or if our budget was a bit short, but to ignore or ghost a future client i didn't understand. Started to feel hopeless until we received a message from Greg's portable Welding. The sweet Manager walked us through the plan and constantly updated me on how we can change designs to fit our budget. Literally continued to work with me until we finalized the plan. The second we were ready, Greg came the day after! Such a sweet and genuine person with skills to match. He got our project just how we wanted, if not better within the budget and very quickly. I highly recommend! Thanks guys :) read more

They came to cut out a holeand frame it for our doggie door in the iron security door. I had to leave before they were finished. The next morning when I double checked it, there was a slight gap on top and bottom where the mesh was and the mesh wasn't adhered to the frame. So, I called them. They were super nice and said that they'd come back the same day to do the finishing touches to my satisfaction for free. I really appreciate their friendliness and willingness to have a happy customer. I posted some pictures. read more

Needed our garage security gate repaired asap on a Saturday evening and Greg came through big time. Responded quickly to a request for a quote. Came out to the house to repair an iron gate. Did a good job. Charged a reasonable rate for the work. I only wish there would have been a more viable solution proposed to make the gate more functional (the gate had not opened completely before and it still does not). In any case, I would call Greg again. Prompt, responsible and does good work. read more

I was looking for someone to repair my front iron gate. The hinges had bent a little over time which was causing the bottom to rub up against the ground. I called Greg on a Monday and he came over the next day. He took a quick look and quoted me $250 to repair. That sounded fine to me so I had him go ahead and do the work. He came back with his tools an hour later and re-welded the top hinges. Everything turned out great. Would highly recommend! read more

Excellent. I called in the morning and Greg was able to come by the same day. One of the gate hinges broke. He had an extra hinge and was able to fix everything same day. Recommend his services. read more

Had a very small, but very difficult job that required some artistry. Greg drove pretty far out to the valley on a Sunday morning and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. Pricing definitely reasonable (considering what it would have cost me to buy a brand new Dishwasher). He was professional and honest at one point saying there might be too much irreversible damage after the weld (which didn't happen) and also suggested an alternative solution that would have seen the money go into someone elses pocket. Would absolutely recommend Greg for any of your welding needs. read more
