This dental practice should be investigated for fraud. I came to this office as a new patient for…read moremy biannual cleanings and exams. They took X-rays, and performed an evaluation of my teeth and gums. They told me I needed $800.00 in dental work, including cavity fillings. My husband came out of his exam room with his care plan and his total was over $700.00. My husband and I had a strange feeling about our experience. We talked and decided we should go for another exam, not telling the next dentist office about experience. The second dentist office told the BOTH of us our teeth and gums were in great condition. No cavities, no dental work needed. We even said are you sure? And proceeded to explain to them what happened at our previous dental exam. They also told us they didn't take PPO so they were going to run our necessary treatments through the insurance. They said that PPO doesn't cover treatments the way HMO does. So they just expected us to pay out of pocket. I'll be reporting this office. Stay far away.

When I left my consultation, I had a comprehensive treatment plan drawn out and fully understood it. She is unlike most Periodontists I have met or had consults with. Her assistant Grace is also just as professional and lovely. I have completed 1 of 4 surgeries. I have extreme health anxiety and she had solutions and was not phased. She texted me a few days after my surgery to check in on me. She's simply a joy to be around. Isn't that what you want when you're having surgery done in your mouth? If you have ANY sort of gum issues, run to Dr. Vittori's office for a consultation. You will be in very capable hands.

Then told they'd have to check with my insurance to see if a deep clean was covered and I'd need to reschedule appointment because it takes them 3 weeks to get approval from insurance I was told. I had no problem with that. Made another appointment for 4 weeks later. Came in 10 minutes before my scheduled time and they seemed very busy with a lot of people coming in for same time appointmen. I get called back sit in chair and hygenist said what I'm there for-deep clean and fillings?! Wait, no, NOT fillings just a deep clean. Then she proceeded to say ok no problem and gave me the form to sign for my deep clean. 15 minutes later hygienist comes back in to tell me my insurance only covers every 3 years on a deep clean. which is not true and I knew that! Had this insurance for 30 years and it's always been 2 years. Husband went to bat for me and called insurance to confirm it is in fact every 2 years. I originally came to this practice because I had a positive experience with Dr. Belke. However, my…read more2024 visit was with Tarannum Marya, DDS, and my experience was very different. I was told I needed a crown on a tooth that was not bothering me. After the procedure, the crown never fit properly. I returned multiple times for adjustments and was eventually told the discomfort was due to my tooth having a "high pulp" and that I would just need to live with the pain. The issue persisted for nearly a year. I experienced ongoing sensitivity and eventually noticed a strong odor and taste from under the crown. I sought care elsewhere. After visits with multiple dentists, a root canal, and the crown ultimately falling out, a new dentist confirmed decay beneath the crown. It was cleaned out and the crown was properly reset and adjusted. It has taken three additional dentists to address what began as a routine crown. I regret not seeking a second opinion sooner and hope this helps others make informed decisions about their care.
