I told him I had a Pap smear last year and that OB recommended I only need one every 3 years, yet he insisted anyway. Completely blew past all my concerned and seemed bored by my presence. Absolutely will NOT visit him again. I was anxious to get some help and find some answers, and was completely blown off. 90% of the staff I met was no joy, either... the only reason I gave two stars was because Renoso's nurse was a JOY. She was the only kind person I came across in my visit. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the rest of the rude staff and doctor.

I saw Dr. Juan Reinoso and I declined a pelvic exam at my visit and requested a female provider. Instead of respecting my decision, I was met with dismissive behavior, frequent interruptions, and a refusal to allow me to fully explain my concerns. Shortly after exercising my right to decline the exam, I was discharged from the practice. This felt retaliatory and deeply unsettling, especially as a pregnant patient seeking routine care. I did not feel respected, heard, or supported, and the interaction left me feeling gaslit rather than cared for. Patients should never be punished for asserting consent or advocating for themselves. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider to anyone who values respectful, patient-centered, or trauma-informed care.

I didn't find anyone at the OB's office who cared as much about me as she did, so I came to Winter Garden OBGYN just in time to find out I was expecting my first kid. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Texier and Dr. Elms. They both were very perceptive to me throughout my pregnancy and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Texier delivered my baby girl, and I don't think it would have gone as smoothly but for Dr. Texier's very clear instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Texier! Their staff are also just as caring. Special thanks to Lily, who was always a friendly face and walked me through the process whenever something was being done. Tammy, the office manager, also helped adjust my office visits to fit my schedule, as well as addressed a clinical issue I had during a blood draw. The office itself is gorgeous and physically appealing. It makes sense since the building itself is also brand new. The reception area has a little Keurig for coffee, as well as a mini fridge for water and juice boxes. I will continue to go to Winter Garden OBGYN. They've officially earned my trust.

I am new to the area, and out of all the doctors and midwives I had talked to, this place was definitely my favorite! They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

Dr. Michael Bartfield came highly recommended by my current gynecologist, who no longer practices obstetrics after I found out I was pregnant. The office seemed fine upon my initial visit, although pretty expensive through my insurance. The office staff seemed very relaxed and Dr. Bartfield although on paper seemed very experienced was very awkward in person. This was not enough to push me away from the office yet. I met with their finance department, they told me because I had not yet met my deductible. I had to pay in full for my delivery that was still six months away and then they would refund me the remaining amount, which did not include my ultrasounds or any blood work done in the office. This is our first kid and we wanted to make sure we got the best possible medical care because I am both type one diabetic and of advanced maternal age at 34 (35 when I deliver) so we went along with it. It wasn't until I was 16 weeks that I had the absolute worst appointment of my life. The ultrasound technician treated me like a test subject. After taking several pictures of my babies anatomy, she looked over at the student in the room, who I was allowed in the room without my permission and said "do you wanna try?". I do not find it appropriate for my body and baby's body to be used without my consent to train a student you have let observe without my consent. I explained to Dr.Bartfield my concerns at our final appointment and he said " if you need to find a different doctor, there won't be any hard feelings" ... yeah I hope not since I am the patient. Later that day I was told by a Dr.Bartfield that my baby could have a congenital heart defect, which I later learned he did not have and that 16 weeks was far too early to diagnose something like that. Dr. Bartfield and his staff put me through a great deal of stress and anxiety for no reason but it didn't end there. I ended up finding a different provider and when I received the bill for my final appointment, I called up to pay it and cancel any future appointments I had scheduled. When I did this, the receptionist took it very personal. She told me she would have to change the billing code for my final appointment to a regular exam. I did not received an exam. Her final words to me on the phone were "good luck". I would stay away from this office. They don't have your best interest in mind, they are motivated by money.

Before scheduling the appointment, I was told that my insurance would be accepted and that my copay would be $25. However, when I arrived, I was informed that they do not take my insurance after all. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had confirmed the coverage beforehand. When my mother tried to explain as shes the insurance policyholder and share what the insurance company had told her, Prisella, the office manager, stated that she did not need to take her call and was unwilling to discuss the situation. Her response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Most upsetting of all, this situation caused unnecessary stress on my me, since i am expecting. A little understanding and professionalism could have gone a long way. I hope the office improves its communication and customer service so other families do not experience the same frustration.

I do not recommend this office if you value basic kindness and professionalism from staff. While…read morethe doctor is excellent, the office staff make this practice very difficult to deal with. On multiple occasions, I've been met with rudeness when calling the office, including a staff member raising her voice at me for simply asking a question. More recently, a prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy location despite me confirming the correct one at checkout. It was sent via mail to another state, which caused insurance issues and required me to spend significant time resolving the mistake. When I called the office to explain, there was no accountability or apology, and I was made to feel as though it was my fault. Dr. Haan has been a pleasure to work with, but the ongoing lack of professionalism and basic kindness from the front office staff outweighs the positives. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but the treatment I've experienced has been unacceptable and consistently stressful.

My disability insurance company repeatedly requested clarification and documentation from this office. They faxed requests, left voicemails, and followed up multiple times over the course of months. I also called repeatedly, sent messages through the patient portal, emailed the office, and even had my benefits administrator contact them directly. Despite all of those attempts, the paperwork was never completed in a timely manner. This wasn't a delay of a few days or even a week. My claim dragged on for months because this office simply would not respond. As a result, my claim was denied twice due to missing documentation that only my OB's office could provide. Eventually after countless email follow ups, faxed forms, ignored calls, voicemails ect CWC provided shoddy paperwork with misspellings, typos and unanswered questions. (The claim started in May, they sent the final paperwork over on July 23). This was a slap in the face. I had just delivered a 25-week premature baby who spent months in the NICU. Instead of being able to focus on my son and recover from an incredibly traumatic birth, I spent months chasing paperwork, making countless phone calls, sending emails, leaving messages, and begging this office to do the bare minimum. The emotional and financial stress this caused was completely unnecessary and avoidable. To make matters worse, I was frequently given conflicting information, told that everything had been handled when it had not, and my repeated requests for updates went unanswered. It became clear that no one was taking ownership of my case or communicating internally. An OB practice doesn't just deliver babies--they continue caring for patients during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. Completing disability and leave paperwork accurately and promptly is part of that responsibility. This office failed spectacularly. If your livelihood depends on this office completing insurance, disability, FMLA, or maternity leave paperwork, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would never trust this practice to handle anything time-sensitive again.

I have been here in regard to what feels like all things obstetrics and gynecology- from the depths of figuring out infertility to recently having our first baby! The providers and staff are so friendly, supportive and caring! Something that I really like about this practice is that is it an all women practice, from the staff and techs to the doctors, everyone is a woman who cares about women's health! The facility itself is clean and gives off a trendy spa like atmosphere. I primarily saw Dr.Hassan, and absolutely love her! She always made sure I felt heard, presented me options and was always willing to spend the extra few minutes with me to make sure I understood everything and every question was answered. Dr.Hassan is always so friendly and supportive, truly making conversations at appointments feel like you are catching up with a friend over lunch which I loved! All of the other doctors here were just as amazing and I always feel well respected and cared for. I really appreciate their on call phone line for evening and weekend support. When I was pregnant I did use it once and Dr.Gabriel happen to be on call, she was so helpful and supportive. I had called in the middle of the night regarding a concern and even though I didn't have an appointment with her, the next time I was in the office she made sure to stop by to check in on me before I left. Truly going above and beyond! The office staff is so lovely, and made coming to my appointments while pregnant so much more enjoyable! I was always greeted with a smile and a warm conversation. Towards the end of my pregnancy I was in the office multiple times a week for monitoring and the staff and techs truly made the experience so much more enjoyable to the point where I was looking forward to every appointment!
