After being placed on…read moreclomid for 5 months by my OBGYN and it not working and due to my age was referred to a fertility clinic which was NOT the Fertility Center of Orlando. When I called to make an appointment, the lady was so rude and nasty to me that there was no way I would ever want to trust this process to them. My husband an I had driven passed the Fertility Clinic of Orlando many times so I decided to read some reviews and after hearing all the wonderful things women had to say, I gave them a call. From the welcoming voice on the phone I knew it was going to be different. We were very nervous during our consultation, not knowing what to expect but left that day so hopeful in starting our family. Dr. McNichol took his time showing us diagrams and broke down the different steps to where we could fully understand what would come next. He wanted to collect as much data on us to determine what steps we needed to take, starting with blood work, my husband getting tested and checking my tubes. The simple blood work showed certain levels were off that needed to be corrected before we could go any farther. Dr. McNichol does not just throw meds at the problem without getting all the data first, which really blew me away from any other doctor I have ever been to. The process is not a fast, simple one but I can tell you that you want a team that is on your side cheering you on the whole way. I am happy to announce that we got pregnant on the first egg I ever made through IUI and have just graduated! It was an emotional roll coaster and sad to say goodbye but each staff member played a huge roll in helping us create our family and we will forever be grateful! If you are looking for a building full of cheerleaders to help you on this journey, I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else then The Fertility Clinic of Orlando!

I had gone to 3 previous doctors and practically begged them to test me for PCOS and they all brushed me off. The very first time I met with Dr. Patel, she very aggressively tested me to pin point exactly what the issue was. I am so thankful for her thoroughness. After a couple months of testing, we met with her again. She made a plan for me that included several different oral medications. She was also very aware of my lack of fertility coverage through insurance. She worked hard to keep treatment as cost effective as possible. She hit the nail on the head! We got pregnant from on our very first attempt. My story doesn't end there, because I had two previous losses I was extremely anxious. She monitored me very closely with blood work and ultrasound. I was recently just released from her care with something I've never had before-a pregnancy with a strong heartbeat. I also cannot say enough about her bedside manner. Not only is she a gifted physician, but one of the sweetest people I have come in contact with. I never felt rushed with her and she always answered my hundreds of questions. She was very calming and was always to put my mind at ease. Dr. Patel's nurses were also extremely helpful and sweet. I called them constantly with questions, and they always called back in a timely manner. My only wish is that I could continue my prenatal care with Dr. Patel and CRM. Coming to CRM was an absolute blessing for us!

Highly recommend. I had failed multiple IUI/IVF attempts at another facility and was being steered…read moretoward donor eggs when I saw Dr. Yates for a second option. She didn't make any false promises but advised me that that recommendation might be premature based on her expertise and had several strategies that had never been discussed with me before. Long story short, I had to have an urgent surgery by Dr Yates where she basically saved my life by convincing me not to delay, AND she fixed a defect, allowing me to conceive naturally following her handiwork. Dr Yates did a great job at my initial counseling, during and after my surgery, and was honest, kind and compassionate through all the scary unknowns. Top-notch medical knowledge, superior surgical skills and a great person all in one doctor? I really wish I had started here and saved myself a lot of expense and anguish. I would like to note, I started at a different clinic with very high posted success rates for IVF but that's probably because everyone was shuttled quickly to IVF without trying other options (creating a falsely high success rate), and I was steered quickly to donor eggs probably because I was bringing down those high "success" rates. It's obvious to me that Dr. Yates tailors treatment to individual patients rather than trying to "work the numbers" but generally if you save IVF only for the patients that really need it, success rates will appear lower. I don't know what the numbers are for Dr. Yates but I would encourage anyone looking for an infertility specialist to treat these numbers with some skepticism. Find a skilled doctor that will treat your individual problem(s)! And to anyone with infertility, best of luck baby-making :-)

I am very fortunate in that my health insurance covers much of the cost for reproductive care. The clinic completed a complete and full workup on me and my husband that took a few months to do. They also helped get him set up with a reproductive urologist to work through his stuff. While at first, the online portal felt a bit informal and challenging to navigate, once I got through to working with the IVF teams I have felt that the communication has been fantastic. They give me a calendar with videos and what time to take all of my medications, explanations in messages to why things are done the way they are and nearly always answer my question the same day if not early the next day. I feel very taken care of and am grateful that I am able to access care like this.

I had one 30 minute virtual Telehealth session where they tell you what to expect, and I got a bill for $700! I could have gotten the exact same information from simply doing a Google search, and they gave the audacity to charge $700 for a Telehealth visit. I understand my insurance doesn't cover this, but $700 for a 30 minutes chat on basic information is absurd. Don't make the same mistake I did. Do your own research and decide if you want to freeze your eggs before ever going near a clinic. They aren't there to help you make an informed decision, they are there to make sure they get your money regardless of if they get your business or not. It is just a business profiting on peace of mind and hopes and dreams, after all.

Tammy, the office manager, also helped adjust my office visits to fit my schedule, as well as addressed a clinical issue I had during a blood draw.
