I contacted a few bail bondsmen who required the requisite percentage and a cosigner. I live in Ohio and I'm on a fixed income. The bondsmen I spoke to all stated that they do not accept people on fixed income for cosigners. I was flying out of Reno the next day and was rushed for time to get these shipped. I went on Yelp and found that there was a location not too far from my hotel. I had about 10 minutes to get there, and when I went up to the door I found it to be locked. As I'm standing there with the boxes in my hand I was about to turn around and walk away, when I saw a gentleman approaching the door. I was about three minutes past their closing time and the owner let me come in, and he was able to tag both of my boxes with shipping labels. There are some places that would shake their head and say "sorry but we are closed". Ok let me start with saying WTF…read more... I put in a return address to Fallon when moving fromTennessee to Seattle. Ok. We were in Fallon for two weeks. That was in October. By November we had already put in change of address for Seattle before leaving Fallon. We were even two days late moving in. Due to weather. And other I for seen factors. Now, with that being said why are my boyfriend and I receiving torn, mutilated, dirty, past due bills from December in January beginning of February. And past due bills from January mid February. Also, my Boyfriend's father has to mail us or mail that does not come to new apartment often. Which his envelopes looked open and ripped at the corners like they were opened on purpose. Smith Family Mortuary was there for me in that time of our loss. Crematory rates were awesome, compared to past experiences with other mortuaries. Jeff Smith, one of the owners and family members of the company was very supportive and handled all of my wishes and retrieving the death certificates needed in dealing with all of the finances and red tape when someone passes. I later had to get the death certificate amended and Jeff was there to help with reaching out to the doctor who initially signed the death certificate. Here I am again, requesting more follow up, but the folks here have been kind and helpful. Years ago, my mother was also cremated at Smith Family. These folks deserve a lot of respect. Not an easy job seeing small town Fallon friends and family pass away.
