They came when the appointment was scheduled, and that is the only positive thing I can say. I was told I would receive a report in a week. Three weeks, two emails and one phone call later, with the threat of disputing the Amex charge for the service, they finally sent a report...and it discussed a situation that did not reflect our issue. When I called them out on it they revised the report and removed the portion about a toilet overflowing and causing damage (which did not happen in our home) and resent the report. To this day I do not know how much of the report is actually accurate to our home and how much reflect the other home with the toilet leak. I know have to seek a second company to explore the issue I already paid them to explore. Be leery of this company. read more

I was midway through purchasing a home when I was referred to Greenworks LLC. Victor and Gary showed up to do an environmental review on the home, built in the 1900s, to check for mold, lead paint, asbestos and review if an underground oil storage tank was removed properly. Thank god they performed this review!!! The home had all of those issues, terrible mold, cancer causing asbestos, lead paint chips and found an unsatisfactory oil tank removal job was done. These guys saved me from buying a home with gigantic health concerns and huge gut job. It's buyer beware and they gave me a warning loud and clear. They walked me through the home documenting, detailing and explaining everything very clearly. Very pleasant to work with and extremely knowledgeable about often overlooked issues in home buying. A huge report with lots of tests and research behind it was provided. This was money well spent as it saved me and my family from a huge health issue and giant hidden cost down the road. Victor is a strategic thinker who brings an immense amount of expertise and know-how to any project. He's a great teacher and I learned a lot from working with him on our mold remediation. He found things and made observations about our home that many other professionals failed to noticed. Greenworks to the rescue! After a flood, our family's partially finished basement needed serious attention. I used them for a mold inspection following a general home inspection that detected a lot of "microbial growth" and I am so happy that I did! The quality of the service they provided during and after the mold inspection, the depth of and quality of the report resulting from the inspection and background research, their willingness to try to expedite test results and a proposal to solve the problem, and the overall customer service they provided were all amazing! As it turns out, the home I was contracted to purchase had serious mold issues that were not obvious and would have required quite a bit of work and regular upkeep to solve. I was about to buy what seemed like a great condominium at a really great price. But my home inspector detected a bit of mold, and recommended I call Gary. Gary squeezed me into his schedule at the last minute, and put up with delays and stayed late with me even though it messed up his day. Not only did he determine the full extent of the mold situation in my unit, but he also discovered a waterline running all around the walls and leading into the outside hallway. Apparently there had been a flood in my building, and the seller had been hiding that information from me. My realtor (who should have been looking out for my best interests) was making up excuses all along, both for the mold and waterline, but Gary, with his technical expertise and ethical sense, set my realtor straight and stuck up for me. After realizing that I was being deceived by the seller and manipulated by my own realtor, I pulled out of the deal.
