They never fixed anything and left me frustrated and worried. The day after Christmas, I called Perfect Electric and they had a technician, Brian, at my property within two hours, which already impressed me. As soon as Brian walked in, he diagnosed the issue in about five minutes, it turned out the problem was actually FPL's fault and the meter needed to be changed. Brian clearly explained what was going on and confirmed that nothing in my house was causing the issue. He was professional, calm, and clearly very knowledgeable. To my surprise, he wouldn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. That level of honesty is rare and deeply appreciated. This company is honest, quick, and truly looks out for the customer. If you are having electrical issues and getting nowhere with FPL, call Perfect Electric and ask for Brian, you will not regret it.

I set an appointment for 2 weeks out and the gentleman I spoke to said he'd call the day before to confirm. The "day before' arrived but I didn't receive a phone call. As we approached the afternoon, I called up to see what was happening but only got a voice mail. I left a message and hoped for the best for the next day. On the day of the appointment the guys were a no show. My wife called up and got a hold of someone who had no idea about the appointment and in general sounded very confused about the schedule. He said he'd call us back with an update but never got back to us. We called one more time and got the voicemail again. At that point I just gave up. One star for Perfect Electric. Not reliable and not responsive. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

And, in doing it the installer was on time, polite, cleaned up the mess, personable, etc. The price bid by "My Electrical Genie" was offered right away - they were the first to respond to my listing. And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.

We recently purchased our home, and the previous owner left a small mountain of receipts for work that Pro Power (Charlie) had done in the house over the years as the house underwent extensive remodeling. We wanted to install a generator bypass and a whole-house surge protector, and during Charles' initial visit he took the time to review ALL of the upgrades that he had done over the previous year or so. During the actual install, he again took the time to explain everything he was doing, and even assisted me in getting my generator up & running and helped me reset an internal wireless switch that was acting up. Price was reasonable, work was professional, and customer was happy. A perfect combination! Thanks Charles! I would gladly recommend Charles & ProPower for anyone looking to have any electrical services performed.
