They gave us a quote and we decided to go with them as they seemed professional in the beginning. 2 weeks after receiving our $1700 deposit we still had not heard from them. Several calls, unanswered, later they set up an appointment to do the work. 1st appointment set they did not show and did not call. We had to call the office to find out what was going on. Finally showed yesterday. Did a half ass job and decided to cut out our sprinkler pump and remove it for no reason. This is not a professional company. But they do charge professional prices. We had an electrician from Solomon come to the house to work on an electrical issue and to give us a quote for some electrical work. We decided not to do much of the suggested work because the price was quite high. But we did pay an exorbitant price to have some outside light fixtures connected because we needed it done quickly.. The analyst spent a couple hours at the house and didn't solve the problem. He left without clearly communicating what he was doing or when he was coming back. Another electrician was sent out on the next workday to finish the job. He did his work in a few minutes, locating the problem and fixing it. We were told by the company that the first electrician had done all the analysis, so the fix was very easy for the second electrician. That fix was tightening the wire connection and adding a plastic cap. Somehow it doesn't add up because the work done by the second electrician could have been done by the first electrician in about five minutes. Who would leave a job in the middle of the afternoon when a couple minutes is left and have another technician sent out for a 30 or 40 minute drive to and from a location for a couple minutes of work? The more annoying thing is that the first electrician had removed the guard from the outdoor circuit breakers and left it lying in the grass. So I'll have to reattach the guard myself. That technician had also removed a outlet cover, which he put back on with one screw, not two, and then tightened so hard that the cover cracked. I'll also have to fix that myself. This is ridiculously unprofessional company. Buyer beware. Look elsewhere! read more

My lightbox weren't working properly, I paid them $922 for a transformer replacement. It stopped working after 5 days, as I was requesting a technician to help fix this issue on the phone, they hung up on me. I called back, texted and nobody answers. Avoid this business if you don't want to put your money in trash. Also, my lightbox has white sheet that goes on top, they broke it and put white tape on it. From here, you can tell what kind of a crappy business this is. AVOID! Take your business somewhere more professional. OVERPRICED. read more

Hired them for a very serious job to fix what caused power to shut down and They screwed up in a most profound way. their electrician came twice, was pushy charging extra this job didn't need, I found out from another electrician I brought for 2nd opinion. Because he wasn't available till next week, I hired Solomon electric & paid 50% deposit. Next day 8:20am their electrician shows up in a commercial vehicle signs from Co he used to work, despite I was clear only regular vehicles allowed by a condo and his car smelled marijuana. I was going to stop them but because I was pressed with move in I agreed to continue under condition David supervisor will show up to supervise. Took 1.5hrs to get electrician in a different vehicle to get in. It created stress. As that wasn't enough he was sent without any material despite their prior electrician assessed job 2 days in a row. Material didn't arrive till 3pm. From 8am agreed start time to 3pm! For 4.5hrs their electrician sat waiting. At 3pm I had Tenant arriving for move in and property had no power, they were still working. I was loosing $7K on this client who at first walked away without paying. They delayed my maid whom I had to pay extra. SOLOMON CO Co gave me insane stress & at the end didn't even finish job we agreed to. Left my light fixture dismantled. It was a lot of back n forth talking & it only ended up in arguments and they deviating from responsibility. The most responsible electric job that can easily catch fire, if not done right, I'm not sure how safe their job is, as it was done in a huge rush, when it should not been because they wasted 4.5hrs waiting for material & another 1.5hrs to put electrician in a different vehicle. This job had to be permitted by the City of Miramar, which they were told upfront. The permitting process was initiated however this company could not present a plan that was accepted by the code enforcement department. I started asking for a refund for the deposit I paid and did not get any cooperation. I had to take file a small claims case in Broward County.
