I had an emergency when my chandelier suddenly dropped from a 20-foot ceiling. I called Solomon Electric, and they were able to come out the very same day. Juan and Camillo were wonderful. Because of the height of the ceiling, the job required scaffolding, and they came prepared and were able to get everything taken care of in one day. Juan even stayed until after 7:00 PM to make sure the issue was completely fixed and everything was safe. I was extremely appreciative of how quickly they responded, their professionalism, and their willingness to stay late to finish the job properly. It is not easy to find a company that responds so quickly to an emergency and follows through until the job is done. I would definitely recommend Solomon Electric, and a special thank you to Juan and Camillo for their excellent service! read more

We are delighted to have picked Solomon Electric for our outdoor lighting project. The response time for an estimate was excellent and the price fair. We are very pleased with the electrician that came to our home, Heberto. He completed the project and explained all details. Highly recommend this company. read more

Daniel did a great job inspecting my house and evaluating the electrical work needed for several EV charger outlets. He was very thorough and took the time to inspect the electrical panels, existing circuits, available capacity, and the best options for running the new wiring. I especially appreciated that he didn't rush through the visit. He looked at everything in detail, explained the different installation options clearly, and made sure he had all the information needed to prepare an accurate quote. Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a competent electrician, especially for EV charger installations or more complex residential electrical work. read more

Solomon Electric delivered excellent work. They were on time, got the job done. Thank you for your help!

I had a great experience working with Solomon Electric. Shimi and his team were professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. The work was very fairly priced, completed on time, everything was clean and organized, and communication throughout the project was excellent. It's hard to find contractors who are both reliable and efficient, but they delivered on every level. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for any electrical work. We will be using them for my commercial projects! read more

Solomon Electric is my go-to electrician. Every other electrician told me that upgrading my property's electric box would require replacing the entire exterior panel at a minimum cost of $1,600. Solomon Electric completed the job without replacing the whole panel. They worked hard, honored their original price, and never tried to renegotiate, even when the job turned out to be more challenging. 1st degree professionalism! I'll call them for all my future electrical work. If you need an electrician don't think twice, try them - Solomon Electric is the one. read more

As a Palm beach interior designer I can honestly say they are rip off artists. They gave me an outrageous price to switch a landscape light with our fixture. ($560.)The two other quotes were $175. and $125. I don't know how others said they were reasonable except for the fact they didn't get other quotes. Do compare with other quotes. read more

Very prompt and the work was done correctly. The price quoted was fair and was not changed. It was an all around positive experience

I needed to have the outlets in my bathrooms replaced, so I submitted a project on Yelp. I received responses from a few different companies and decided to go with Solomon Electric because of their great reviews and because of my positive past experience with them. They sent out a technician at a date and time that was convenient for me. The technician diagnosed my problem quickly, then sent me a quote for the work. He came back a few days later and completed the work of replacing my outlets accurately and in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Solomon Electric, and will be using them again in the future! read more

Solomon electric was fast, proffesional and friendly. They provided an estimate quickly and stuck by it. I highly recommend them.

Awesome job. We needed an outlet installed behind our lobby television. Our technician showed up on time, did the job with minimal damage, spoke clear English and cleaned up after himself. What more could you ask for? read more

My lightbox weren't working properly, I paid them $922 for a transformer replacement. It stopped working after 5 days, as I was requesting a technician to help fix this issue on the phone, they hung up on me. I called back, texted and nobody answers. Avoid this business if you don't want to put your money in trash. Also, my lightbox has white sheet that goes on top, they broke it and put white tape on it. From here, you can tell what kind of a crappy business this is. AVOID! Take your business somewhere more professional. OVERPRICED. read more

We didn't use the service but appreciated the timely calls and follow up phone calls.

the estimate was a rip off. more expensive than having a surgery without insurance for a job than would not take more than an be hour. What a poor and greedy perspective of gaining customers read more

Lights and circuit went out. They investigated, and made suggestions. They also figured out what a toggle switch actually controlled! Excellent communication with the phone person and the tradesperson. read more

Very good service. Highly recommended. Quick efficient, and professional service. Recommend to anyone

This is not a professional company. But they do charge professional prices. We had an electrician from Solomon come to the house to work on an electrical issue and to give us a quote for some electrical work. We decided not to do much of the suggested work because the price was quite high. But we did pay an exorbitant price to have some outside light fixtures connected because we needed it done quickly.. The analyst spent a couple hours at the house and didn't solve the problem. He left without clearly communicating what he was doing or when he was coming back. Another electrician was sent out on the next workday to finish the job. He did his work in a few minutes, locating the problem and fixing it. We were told by the company that the first electrician had done all the analysis, so the fix was very easy for the second electrician. That fix was tightening the wire connection and adding a plastic cap. Somehow it doesn't add up because the work done by the second electrician could have been done by the first electrician in about five minutes. Who would leave a job in the middle of the afternoon when a couple minutes is left and have another technician sent out for a 30 or 40 minute drive to and from a location for a couple minutes of work? The more annoying thing is that the first electrician had removed the guard from the outdoor circuit breakers and left it lying in the grass. So I'll have to reattach the guard myself. That technician had also removed a outlet cover, which he put back on with one screw, not two, and then tightened so hard that the cover cracked. I'll also have to fix that myself. This is ridiculously unprofessional company. Buyer beware. Look elsewhere! read more

From the moment Agnes answered the phone I knew I had found the electrician I was looking for. She was able to answer all my questions and schedule a Tech onsite the same day. Juan, the electrician, was prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable and fast. He replaced my defective K-Rain Irrigation Controller in no time. I would recommend Solomon Electric to anyone, and I will definitely call again! read more

Terrific experience with Solomon Electric. Reached out on a Friday to schedule an appointment, recieved a call back almost immediately, and had a confirmed appointment for Monday. Guy was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I explained the range of issues I wanted assessed (flickering lights, no lights, a ceiling fan that won't work, bad dimmers, etc.) and we went room by room for Guy to have a look. He gave me a fair estimate, got the supplies needed, and was able to complete the work same day. I now have fully working lights outside and in my master bathroom! Will definitely work with Solomon Electric again and recommend them to others. read more

Had a breaker trip thought it was a a simple problem. When our technician showed up the same day, he identified it as a bad breaker. Simple fix, great job. However, he identified an issue that needs to be addressed. I followed up his concern and he is right. I now have a plan for fixing it but I also have a team I can rely on. Thank you Wayne read more

I have used Solomon Electric twice. Both times we worked with Juan who was very helpful and diligent with his work. The communication was a bit spotty with the company as they suggested a date and then sent the tech earlier. However, the electrician worked to fix our problem as quickly as possible. The price was not too bad as they worked with us. They made follow up calls to check in. Overall, I would use the company again. read more

I got a diagnostic package with 1 switch repair for $399 (with tax it was $416.96). I called the company on Thursday and they were fully booked on Friday. So they came out on Monday morning. I had a horrible experience with Solomon Electric. I contracted with this company for an external residential rewire job. This job had to be permitted by the City of Miramar, which they were told upfront. The permitting process was initiated however this company could not present a plan that was accepted by the code enforcement department. I started asking for a refund for the deposit I paid and did not get any cooperation. I had to take file a small claims case in Broward County. After six months of haggling and delay tactics, I finally got my refund plus court fees. There was never an apology, only a promise to make it right. It never happened. Beware. read more
