I had a custom desert-style vision in mind and Mike and his crew delivered while being patient and professional throughout the process. A large project with big ornamental plants naturally brings some challenges, but all issues were addressed and made right in the end. Irrigation was installed to the plants and spacing was done well for a symmetrical, automated setup. The largest tree, a Mediterranean fan palm in a 30" box, was installed expertly - showing they can handle heavy, mature trees as well. Re-Leaf wasn't the cheapest option, but I chose them based on reviews and the experience that was clear during the initial consultation. The end result matches my vision and has made maintenance far easier. Thank you to Mike, Juan, and the team for bringing it to life.

Look at before and after photo that I posted - they made such a difference to the aesthetic and I get happy and excited to pull up to my home. The front yard is much more functional - added turf which is looks luscious and great in person, added steps so my guests and delivery drivers don't trip over bushes, a concrete patio, and extended the driveway. Also replaced my immature baby tree with a palm *heart eyes*. Omar took my idea, suggested other great ideas and turned my vision into real life. The pricing was competitive, but very fair. Omar and his crew came in and DID WORK! These guys worked hard to finish the project over the next few days, it was impressive. They were fast, knowledgeable and knew what to do. I am also happy with how they routed my irrigation system. There are the occasional weeds growing through the weed guard, but I think that's inevitable. The bad: Most of the trees they planted ended up dying because they were planted incorrectly. All trees are on the same irrigation system that they routed, so they all received the same amount of water. 7/10 trees died. I pulled them out and saw that they didn't prepare the soil correctly and didn't spread the roots out after transplanting the trees. The ugly: The gate install was a complete disaster. They put the gate frame on backwards which cause the gate to have uncontrollable sagging. Also, the gate lock was put on backwards.

Just over a year ago when we moved into our current home, we put our trust in John to redo our…read morebackyard landscape and concrete work. The backyard was a disaster since the home had been vacant for a few years. During the project, we added a waterfall to our slope as a last-minute change order. We left the waterfall design entirely up to John. He created an absolutely beautiful waterfall and installed it within a week or two, including the ability to turn the waterfall on and off from inside the house (really cool!). During the first year, we had some difficulty with the waterfall's continuous operation, but each time John was able to resolve the issue. The last time the waterfall went down, about 3 months ago, John identified the pump was defective and replaced it with a new one at no cost. The waterfall has since been running continuously without any problems. As a side note, the day before John was coming out to install the new pump, I broke a water line while trying to dislodge a hose that was frozen to the hose bibb. When I mentioned this to John and mentioned the quotes I had from plumbers to fix, he offered to fix it for substantially less. Thank you, John! John has a natural eye for landscaping and during this past year, he has come up with many suggestions that have enhanced our original landscaping plans. The only reason for 4 stars is we are still in the process of refining the backyard landscape with John, replacing a few plants that died, and adding more color. After we are completely done landscaping the backyard, I will do a follow-up review. I am hoping to be giving John 5 stars!
