I usually do not leave reviews on services or places I use via Yelp. However, this time I am leaving one as a warning to you guys about Greensky Construction. I had artificial grass installed by Johnny Lopez and his crew. The job was poorly done with the seams being visible. See attached photos. I contacted Johnny to come out and inspect it. He also saw that the seams were visible and that the job was poorly done. He promised me that his crew would be coming back the following week to fix the issues. That was in November. Since then he has been dodging my e-mails, texts, and phone calls. Be careful when using Johnny and his crew. I used my retirement money to pay for a service that was below average. We we're looking for a company to do the whole shabang on our back yard... Turf, Concrete, Pavers, Mulch, Stones, and DG and lucky for us GreenSky came a long and was amazing from start to finish. We got our estimate from Tim, who does an amazing job getting you the best price possible. Other contractors charged nearly double or 30% more. Tim was also very communitive working with us even after work hours and offering suggestions to work within the budget and making sure our vision of the backyard was what we wanted. I also had to pleasure to meet Johnnie to which him and his crew did amazing job even working on the weekends to have our yard finish before the heavy rain and the holidays. 11 out of 10 would recommend! I contacted more than a few companies about doing work on my house and backyard and they were the most responsive and did a great job. We had our backyard graded and curbing poured in four different areas and it turned out beautiful. The owner is a standup guy and is willing to work within your needs and price point. This company willingly and knowingly, stole my money. In good faith, I provided a down deposit for materials to be purchased and installed later. After seven months of contacting the company periodically to find out the status of my order. I did receive two text messages from the owner. Johnnie, in Jan of 2023 who said that he would get back with me.. I have not heard from him since. No, I would not recommend them nor trust him with anything of any value. We moved into our home and the backyard was full of weeds and it was not kid/pet friendly. We reached out to green sky construction and the process was super easy from start to finish. They came and gave a quote and got the process started within a matter of days. They cleared out the backyard and gave recommendations along the way. The project included concrete work and artificial turf and it was done within a reasonable amount of time! The team was efficient and made sure the job was done right!We are very pleased with our new landscape and cannot wait to enjoy the spring/summer out there. read more

I contacted GreenSky several months before they actually did any work. The reason it took so long is because the sales person, Tim, was not very responsive initially. When I reached out I wanted a pool. It took over a month to get an initial verbal quote. I waited and waited for the written quote, which I never received, and by the time I reached out again he claimed the price has jumped up nearly $30,000. Needless to say, I didn't get a pool. I should have walked away from them at this point and normally I would have but I had been trying for over a year to get my backyard completed. Of course, this was more difficult during the pandemic so I was desperate which I'm sure could be recognized. Everything I was told during the selling phase was not honored and each time I asked about something I was told I was redirected to the owner, Johnny, who was not a part of those conversations. Long story short, this company did some stamped concrete, grass, and rocks which I was initially satisfied with until my grass died right before they did the sealant on the concrete. The owner told me to hire a gardener. My opinion, overpriced and underdelivered. read more

The one thing good thing I will say about this company is that Johnnie is responsive and very professional. However, that's where the bus stops. His employees were late to start on the job, and , left trash on site, albeit empty water bottles and cigarette butts. Was looking to get a sprinkler system installed and although was completed, the coverage is not enough and I'm wondering if his people measured the GPM and considered that into the amount of heads and stations. I was hoping they'd be able to help me unravel the mystery that is the old sprinkler System that I had here and get it sorted but sadly not the case. Johnnie (owner) was very pleasant, he worked with me on price and again, he's the best part about the company. My suggestion is to get a new crew of workers that understand the importance of the image they give the company. read more
